nah that movie rules in a b-movie sort of way. same as the Fantastic 4 movie

Cap in this movie is Matt Salinger son of JS Salinger who wrote 9 Stories, Catcher in the Rye etc.

I just watched it for the first time in years! I think it was when I rented it on VHS was the last time i sat through it.

For what it is, it's gold. I'd rather watch that, than the FF movie any day.

Damn, the movie expired before I got to watch it. It had bookmarked it while watching the Astonishing X-Men motion comic , but I just forgot until I stumbled on this thread.

Hope they will release them.

I have no worry about cap but i doubt for dr strange.

The problem with cap 1990, we can have it only by internet (megaupload etc...).

I wonder why they never released it on DVD...
They did release it on VHS and laserdisc... Why suddenly stop?

So they will release captain america 1990 DVD everywhere in spring : http://pyuniverse.blogspot.com/2010/11/captain-america-1990.html#comments

Look at the comments : "We're actually preparing a widescreen version from the original 35mm elements with a new soundtrack by Tony Riparetti and his Sound Logic team. Its a much longer version with many omitted scenes. It runs 122 minutes and delves deeper into the characters.

I don't think we have the resources to punch up the scale or action but its definitely a better version of the movie.

Not until sometime in the spring, Tony and I are swamped with the Tales US version and also getting Cool Air ready. I just posted the first screen grabs from Cool Air at pyun.com so take a look and let me know your thoughts."

Hope they will release Punisher 1989 DVD in France too ;)
