And I think if Uncle Ben is used---PLEASE ONLY USE HIM ONCE! Don't use him in any more movies. Have him be like Obi-Wan Kenobi, he's there to give Peter wisdom, he's taken from Peter, and his memory lives on through his words reminding Peter what he should do.

Set up the love between Peter, him, and May. Tell the origin story but only use 10-15 minutes if that or the opening credits.

I really like Logan Lerman and Aaron Johnson. I think both would be great. Maybe Lerman has the edge because Johnson is already in costume in "Kick Ass," plus Johnson is looking a lot older these days. Lerman has more of a teen look that fits better with a high school-aged Parker.
I'm not too familiar with the others, except Yelchin, who I think is a great actor but not for Parker.

You know... looking back at "Batman Forever" I think it was more Schumacher's fault for the Two-face we got then anything else. I think under, Burton or someone as masterful as Nolan, Lee's Two-Face would've been what we saw from Eckhart--- conflicted, torn, confused, all of those things Two-Face is.

Lee I think wouldn't be a bad Ben but he's not my top choice. As for the idea of Martin Sheen as him, sure, if you were going for the hippie Ultimate-version. I kind of want May and Ben to be what they were in the beginning. Keep Bendis' contemporary Parker in high school days but that's it. Keep the stuff Ditko, Lee, and others before Bendis did.

I never really understood the reasoning behind their hair, I just figured it was an odd characteristic they wanted to give the characters.

First, loved the movie Fame.
Second, he definitely was one of my favorite characters of the movie, and he was Peter Parker-like throughout the movie, and while he wouldn'tbe a top contender for me, I would not complain if he was cast or was in the running.

I'm skeptical Brock will be part of this franchaise at this point. Marvel is keen to launch Venom as a seperate franchaise.

Hopefully at some point the rebooted Spider-man and the new Venom will have a crossover.

in the case of dr. conners I thought dylan baker was frigging perfect and I'm bitterly disappointed we wont get to see him change to the lizard

a) he looks like a family man
b) he lookslike he couldn't hurt a flea (the perfect dichotomy with lizard)
c) he was the right age to look like a father figure for peter

I know you can't bring back old cast members in a reboot (although 'M' in bond returned) but I'd like to see dylan baker return most out of all the original cast, yes, even simmonds.

I like all these especially Ben Foster as Electro. Chris Meloni just needs to get involved in a big movie as he's a terrific actor. Also, Oded Fehr would be a better Morbius than Kraven IMO.
