becuase this offers moer classes, and i can wake up at 3 in the afternoon and still do homework, and i can watch recordings of classes ive missed the elluminate session for. also the laptop they give me is awesome, and imo, its been a better experience, to learn more check out insight school

So it seems my movie theater I go to has raised their prices yet again since last week of me going. Atleast its not as bad as other places raising it an additional 1.50.

Hype is a wonderful thing and I'm not talking about the site. But hyping up a movie. When a tagline says "Scariest movie ever" its bound to asses in seats. Those stupid overreacting crowd shots from the TV spots sold this movie.

And you got that right about budget. It was just people sitting around. Its about all they could do really. They could have maybe perhaps used some CGI or something to make that one guy less of a annoying douche-nozzle.

I could think of atleast 10 real horror movies that came out that year that were better then this.

Off the top of my head a few I thought were better. Let the right one in, Splitter, Trick R' Trick, Drag me to hell, Orphan, House of the devil and timecrimes. Just to mention a few. Most of those being straight to dvd ones. Or Indie type ones.

I guess so, seeing as many thought Drag me to hell and Trick R' Treat were two of the best horror films of 2009. I'm guessing you don't like the evil dead series either if you didn't like Drag me to hell. and I thought Orphan was a whole hell of a lot more suspenseful then Paraboring Non-Activity.

Well I did think that the original Amityville Horror was scarier because in that one they never actually showed any ghosts like the one that moved the rocking chair. In the remake, they showed everything and I found it to be a lot less suspenseful. :( Sometimes it's better not to show everything.

I like how you're now a "horror movie snob". I've been on you for over a year to watch Japanese and Italian Horror movies. Not to mention watching Universal as well as older horror movies such as Night of the Living Dead.

Yes, yes, I know you've seen some of them now. But don't go on and on how the new Friday the 13th and Halloween remakes are examples of how horror movies should be made.

These aren't Shakespeare here, there are several different ways you can do a well done horror movie. What Paranormal Activity used was the, it's scarier in our minds than what they show on the screen.

I liked that movie. It's not my favorite nor would I own it but as someone who's see Japanese horror, Italian horror, classic horror movies, Universal as well as 80s ones, not to mention your new "classics" such as Saw and the remakes. I can appreciate a movie like PA.
