Here's an article about the first part of the "Grounded" storyline in the Superman comics! Pretty interesting premise...

So far I like it. I am very hopeful that this is going to be an important and memorable story this year. I like the idea of Superman wanting to reconnect to the human race. It's taking a bit more effort for me to be as optimistic about JMS take on Wonder Woman, but I'm remaining open minded (I suppose I'm a bit jaded still by his horrendous redefining of Spider-man). :down

I'm loving the heartfelt, and at times humorous, Grounded. It's actually bringing the Superman character back to his roots as a positive down to earth figure helping humanity, standing up for the little guy. Showing a care. There’s some great messages of universal humanitarianism. It's a refreshing change seeing Superman giving a minute to help a citizen rather than just fighting supervillains for the billionth time. An assistant to the helpless and oppressed is what Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster created Superman to be. Definitely a step in the right direction for Superman.

I loath his all-new, all-different Wonder Woman. He's not bringing that character back to her classic authentic roots at all. As Neal Adams said "If a writer wants to change a character completely, go create your own damn character."
