In all fairness, I still don't understand why Lantern's costume shows his toes. I get that it's a space suit that forms over the body...but it does look a little off.

The Thor forums are the only forums that don't really have annoying trolls nor constant nitpickers. And since the early buzz is pretty good, it's only getting more fun and better to be in. Now, the worst thing about the Thor forums now is the early spoilers. :funny:

Please elaborate.....

In the Cap forum, someone commented on steroids in reality making you grow hair and Evans not having chest hair was unrealistic. This lead to a major discussion on the merits of chest hair and if it was more manly or not.

It was hilariously dumb.

Parker Wayne
04-20-2011, 11:25 PM
After the Captain America trailer was released, there were a few people in the Captain America forums who were complaining about the lack of chest hair on him because "it's the 40s and every guy had chest hair". I left one weekend and on monday there were 4, 5 pages of just chest hair talk.

Can you get some of them to post on TDKR board to make it bearable to post there?

Navigating the TDKR forums is easier when you know which threads to avoid. Avoid the Batsuit and Batmobile threads (they get nitpicky quickly), any threads involving Robin (a lot of them hate Robin), and threads involving any female castings (though the Marion Cotilard thread is surprisingly peaceful).

Pretty much, stay away from the threads in which you know there will be nitpicking. That's why it's been easy to get back into the Bat-forums.

I always HATE when people say that, lol. Superman is one of my 5 favorite superheroes, period. Thus, I care a lot about whether or not his next set of films are good. Admittedly, I grew up more on Spidey and Avengers, but my favorite comic based cartoons are the DCAU shows. I can love both, lol.

I'm just not confident in the creative team the assembled. The cast is good. It's the crew that worries me.

Anyway, back to TiVo

I think it's obvious Cottilard is going to be Neeson's daughter in a similar twist that he played in "Batman Begins". She will have a dual identity being this "Miranda Tate" character on the Wayne Enterprises board to get close to Bruce while also being associated with the League of Shadows along with Bane. Everyone knows that the writers have used old comic story runs for inspiration in the previous films and with Bane having been called upon to lead the League along with Talia when Bruce refused this is easy to assume. The League isn't just going to let what happened in "Batman Begins" with the defeat of Neeson's characer going unaddressed or unpunished. Bet on it.

While comic fans may see through it, regular audiences won't so it will not be that obvious to the rest of the movie-going public which also contributed to "The Dark Knight's" HUGE audience base.

Also Heath Ledger was a huge reason women attended "The Dark Knight". These films are cast not only on talent, but audience appeal to all "market" cross sections. Women love JGL as they did Heath and the rest of the cast appeals to many other audience cross sections beyond us comic fans.

I also just read this interesting theory on the IMDB boards that while crazy... would be a very interesting twist that I like:

"JGL could play a younger Ledger...and it doesn't state WHEN (JO)-hn Bla(KE)was working for Gordon...we already know that some of this film will take place in the past...maybe we will see Jokers life when he worked as a cop for Gordon?

To be honest, John Blake is literally the only two names you could use if you wanted to hide the word JOKE in the characters name of your young Heath Ledger looking actor.

And guess what, having a young Joker before he was the Joker wouldn't go against Nolan's word of NO JOKER in TDKR....

To be honest the more I think about it the more it makes sense. I mean we know there are scenes from the past in this film with a young Ra's, so why not a young Joker when he was a cop? It would certainly be an epic twist and would bring everything back around and link to TDK."

...The world is overpopulated...so I WILL be the guy to say it...there should not be a cure for cancer anytime soon. Sorry. We have a serious population problem on our hands people. While humans still have land to spread out on...they can only do so by taking away other species homes and food supplies. Sorry to say, but we are just mostly *******s to this planet.

First off, please don't use my arguments when you're not smart enough to pull them off.

Second, **** the planet. Don't be stupid. We're not some kind of blight on the world, we're just another species doing our thing.

C, this isn't a cure for cancer. There's too much wrong with the article and I haven't seen anything reported anywhere else.

Also, cancer kills things too slowly for it to make a difference in any population.

As somebody who is currently dealing with cancer-related woes...**** YOU. You can easily say that kind of trash from behind the safety of your keyboard without fear of someone putting you in your fat place. There are millions of people out there that would kick your sorry ass for saying that. I myself would join them if such an event were to take place.

I like your list man and i'm gonna save it in my computer for the next 10 years
as for me !
I don't believe in aging at all because i keep felling stronger and stronger
at this rate i might become a real life super human being in 50 years then again it might all be in my head though.
and i'm alway careful with that
so don't take too seriously what i'm about to write from personal experience

latetly i've been obsessed with the face of God and i've been wondering
How God would look like as human being !?
about 2 years ago in a hot summer day i was in my car in a mall parking lot
it was a sunday and i was pondering that question
then with all my might all my belief ,i ask looking up the clouds in the sky
i saw a face in the cloud
of course it was a face made of clouds ,and it was incredibly well done
but i could barely believe it !
What ?!
is this how the face of God looks like
i turn my head away and look at it again
and turn my head away again
in my dismay God face looks like a young person with long dark hair
and it's hard to tell (because the face is winkle free) it could easily be a man as well as a woman
it reminds me of some of the renaissance painting i've seen in some of the books in the library
and i look at the cloud and i saw two other face nearby but they look kind of aliens, one of them looks like a caricature of star trek's otto and the other one had a face full of hair (kind of chubaka with a human face instead of a primate)
I've made a big mistake that day because i didn't have my camera with me to take a picture. and you know what! i would have posted it right here at the superherohype board)

months later it upset me because i turn my head away in my disbelief that God would looks barely like an eighteen years old teenager
I cry a little because i was ashame of not wanting to accept what i saw this sunday afternoon
beside it might not be real because it is said is death to see the face of god
but you know i thought it was worth it
and beside the processus of aging are simply deterioration of our cell structure and God don't have that problem ,
and time is only an illusion
as a matter of fact the earth circle the sun and come back the same place every year, which makes it only one year old
Ha Ha Ha !

but i try again and i've seen different version since then
not nessesarily up in the clouds
because you can see anything you want in the clouds, you name it
and it was maybe all in my head

I like the bearded man version i've seen in the waters
he looks like a younger better looking version of Odin

but the one that i like the most appears to me in a vision
it was huge, a Giant so huge that i could only see the middle of the face with
glowing beautiful "dark skin" eyes yellow like the sun and dark pupils as if they were made of infinite black hole and a glabella so huge that it makes the incredible hulk's and darkside glabella looks like kids.
749 xy
Is one of God's equation that i received years ago from doing something out of the ordinary
I know how it works a little
but i'm not gonna tell you
find out yourself !
I call it the God number.
http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll282/2link121/Lol/spirder-man-that-post-gave-me-cancer.jpg

Are... are you on drugs? or Charlie Sheen? or both?

Absolutely not .
in fact i came back to erase my post but now it's too late.
you guys are luky and you don't even know how lucky!
"i might as well go all the way then" (in order not to make a fool of me)
try the equation (it's only the tip of the iceberg)

749 will equal 20 at every corner for example 7 + 4 + 9 equals 20. and on top you'll finally amount to 24 which is the twenty-four letter of the alphabets you'll just have to find out the 25th because i don't want to make it to easy for you.
(there's even a 26th)
but the most important is X and Y which is men's chromosomes
by example take a piece of paper and draw x y and z on top of each other
(if you remember the movie davinci code the xyz will remind you of something)

you can use this equation to win at the lottery ("for the time being"), it predicts future numbers with accuracy when you know how to use it
you have to find out the date the month and the year and after that just concentrate on the date betweens the 749 x and the other y number
like i told you this is just a tip of the iceberg
and remember this is a gift
and proof that a superior force is controling everything
and remember Diamondhead gave it to you and to the world.
if you become rich beyond your wildest dream you just have to send 10 % of your gain to my cause and you better trust me.
Ah!
I might as well give you the y numbers.
196 it is.

I like that movie a lot. Cameron Crowe is the best writer of high school movies. Though John Hughes made one of my all-time favorites with Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Cameron Crowe actually got up off his arse and made the transition from critic to writer, y'know, actually having the guts to try and make his own art and get it out there for other people to criticise, rather than sitting around talking about other people's art all day like any old dime a dozen internet armchair critic making fairly obvious observations. It actually pains me sometimes to see how many people waste their time doing this day in and day out on the net, thinking they are some kind of hotshot, lol, it is laughable. I have made the promise to myself never to lurk or log on to any internet discussion forum ever again by the end of 2012, I think I will probably have a pretty solid phobia of them by then anyway, and spend my spare time in that regard working on my art, in whatever form that takes. If you want to be any kind of writer worth your salt, you have to frickin work at it all the time.

I say that as in, that's like, the dumbest thing I've ever heard. There's going to be a natural catastrophe that moves across the earth exactly, to the minute, one hour at a time, in a horizontal direction? Or even a supernatural catastrophe doing that, is really really stupid.

God: Ok, time for the rapture, but remember, even though we didn't have timezones when I created the earth, we have to move exactly one hour at a time in reverse, so that every one gets hit at the same hour on their clock. Like network television.

Not just that, but in places like Queensland... they don't have daylight savings.

So is the rapture just going to go East to West, hold up at the border and check it's watch for a half hour before going further west, and then spread both West AND double-back East to have a crack at Queensland because they're an hour behind everyone else in that time zone?

Also, time zones aren't divvyed up by the minute... and aren't a set distance in length... 15 degrees at the equator is far, FAR longer than 15 degrees in the Arctic and Antarctic circles.

There's... a lot of stupidity about this.

Is this poster really going to be used to sell the movie? Or is it just some slapped together poster by some unknown company for a monetary purpose?

Yeah, it sure looks slapped together... No work or creative design there at all... Especially not compared to your average blockbuster poster........Transformers 3, now THERE'S a detailed poster.

If Marvel doesn't pay you to defend them and if nothing is on the line in your case then put a lid on it. :whatever:

God forbid that no one who is interested in the movie is even allowed to question this new poster that was revealed recently. :whatever:

This is going to be long, but man a few years ago this was hysterical.

Why is sex based soley on physical attraction acceptable...

but sex that's motivated by money is unacceptable?

Still trying to justify it? LOL

There you go. And touting it as far superior to relationships and true human intimacy is tantamount to eating McDonald's 24/7 and mocking everyone else for eating healthy.

jag

I never said sex without a relationship is always superior. However it is possible to have better sex with a stranger than your loved one.

Then explain all the mocking you have done of people in steady relationships and marriages as well as their sex lives in all these various threads. You've consistently touted sex with hookers as far superior, so don't backpedal now, junior.

jag

Like I said earlier, what exactly are you looking for here?

It'd be one thing if you came on here and said yeah I pay for it and that was it. The fact that you have to come here and forcibly shove down our gullets that regular relationships are stupid and we are missing out and what you do is ideal is pathetic and that's why everyone here makes fun of you.

Not to mention his shameless denial of the fact that he can't afford swedish supermodels, and alternately sleeps with male crackwhores and his aunt.

That's another thing!!!

He stated in the reparation threads how he doesn't work. So tell us Richie Rich, how does one pay for a $300-$500 a session hooker?

And where does he do them, since he lives at home?

Like I said before. Sex with a stranger can be more enjoyable than sex with a loved one. True story.

Actually I feel safer with high class escorts than I do with girls I meet at the club. High class escorts use condoms religiously. College girls and other women not so much.

"Meaningful" sex doesn't always equate the most enjoyable sex. Some escorts will make your toes curl. It doesn't matter if you "would die for them" or not.

Yes but the quality is much lower. I rather have threesomes with girls who look like supermodels than be committed to some average chick.

It's like you can't possibly even fathom the idea that a woman can be attracted to a man (or vice versa) not only because they find them physically attractive but because they also find them engaging, charming, funny, intelligent, sensitive, etc., etc., etc. It takes more than pure physical attraction to lure someone to your bed. I know this is brain-melting to you as a concept, but it's actually true.

jag

Actually this thread is comparing sex based purely on physical attraction to sex that is finacially motivated.

Having said that, a girl that's turned on by intelligence is no better than one who's turned on by wealth and status.

The instances of actual sex that are based solely and purely on physical attraction are pretty much nil and you are naive to even think so. There are other factors that come into play to at least some degre, some of which I've already mentioned.

And a girl that's turned on by intelligence would strike me as being less materialistic and more interested in what makes a man what he is than she would be a girl who just wants to be with a man because he's rich and powerful. Big difference.

jag

Actually since jag seems to be the sentimental type his point is actually valid. Sex is better for him when there is emotion involved. It is strange though how you only seem to be able to offer the viewpoint of having to pay for sex. Most of us don't have to pay to get laid. Look as though you might be in the minority there.

Yes I am in the minority. :csad:

Not many guys have had threesomes with beautiful women. :woot:

BTW- Jag cries during sex. :ninja:

Riiiiiiiiight.... :cwink:

And we are all really really really jealous... aren't we guys?

Not many sexy young women are going to be attracted to you by your 55th birthday. But if you pay to get two 19-year old, swedish models to fulfill your sexual fantasies I promise I won't be mad at you. :cwink:

I never bang the same hooker twice. So many sexy women, so little time.

You guys also realize that Blind_Fury admits to not having a job and he's a full time student, so the act of him buying a hooker is almost impossible.

And he lives at home.

It's not just power, it's choice. Having a choice of the finest women and how and when they will fullful my fantasies. It sure beats having sexual relations on a woman's terms.

Having to impress women to get a little action is ridiculous. Threesomes with beautiful women is every man's natural born right.

How exactly do you pay for all this action?

I do find it funny that he doesn't go into detail or answer any questions.
He goes to school and lives at home, yet he can afford a few hundred dollars for sex with a hooker?

Seriously BF how many times a year do you do this and how do you pay for it?

I'm sure you won't answer this but I will try and add it on every page.

So that's why you hate prostittution. Your uncle sold you to a trick for a pack of cigarettes.

I don't know what's worse, your lack of knowledge on anything to do with women, relationships or sex, your analogies, your refusal to answer any questions or your sad excuses for insults.

I guess all the above has to suffice.

blind_fury,

Not sure if you saw this, and I wanted you to be sure you did so you could answer the questions:

So how do you afford these hookers if you live at home, go to school and don't have a job? Where do you "do" them at? How often do you engage their services?

jag

Welcome triplefive.

How does blind_fury pay for sex with hookers, when he lives at home, goes to school and doesn't have a job?

This is a theoretical argument. I'm defending an individual's right to pay for sex. My current sex life is a non-issue.

These are important things that would support his argument, but they are suspiciously lacking from his supporting evidence which makes me think that's just lying about all of this and he's never had sex with a call girl in his life. You haven't read enough then. Killing Joke is hardly layered. Moore said he doesn't like it and it is really just too violent. And I agree, since it was initially OOC he could do what he wanted. Including crippling Babs and having Bats go insane/kill Joker. Year One is not all that layered either it's rather formulaic, unlike a few things in The Dark Knight ("With the Joker it never is") and defines Batman very well, as emulated with Batman Begins, but since Begins is longer, it could incorporate things from other stories like, The Man Who Falls etc.

If you want a story that is truly layered and of equal length to a film read The first half of the Grant Morrison run. It is comprised of Batman & Son, The Black Glove, RIP, Batman Reborn, Batman VS Robin and The Return of Bruce Wayne. THAT is a layered story.

I was reminded of long lost Mr Parker...the ORGANICS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!! king.

Spider-Man without the mechs is like Batman without the batmobile,or Captain America without his shield or James Bond drinking a beer instead of the classic martini shaken but not stirred that he always asked for.

anybody who likes organic webbing is not a true spidey fan because the fact that people could possibly not care about sony raping to death his character like they did in the movie by giving him organic webbing makes me sick. They have raped to death his character with organics because he is a damn monster now and no longer human anymore. the REAL reason they used organics in the movie was the director was too damn lazy to try and incorporate them in the movie because he did not want to take the extra 5 minutes of screentime it would take to put them in the movie and explain them so he took the easy and lazy way out with organics. the shooters are very much an important part of his character because like you said,he could always show his superiour intelligence over the average man with them.any idiot like flash thompson could have become spiderman with organic webbing but not just anybody could have had the smarts like peter did to invent th webbing.he was a special and unique person,it was a gift he had that very few people have.and you hit the nail on the head,it makes no sense for the webbing to shoot out of his hands.realistically they would shoot out of his butt.Great thread. if not for those stupid movies of sonys and that idiot director sam raimi ,they would never have been introduced in the comics.

because of organics we now got the character of MAN-SPIDER instead of spider-man

Elite man... you are just being too narrow-minded.

Kevin can't play the part ALL the time and they can't keep oscillating between Conroy and Romano.

Kevin's good... but no ones that good. And on the subject of Conroy... his attitude towards Christian Bale is just downright shocking at times.

Agreed. He actually mocked him once at some fanboy gathering, that's both unprofessional and really quite childish.

Considering his general good vibes towards all previous Batman actors (especially Michael Keaton)... and even Rino Romano, I was unimpressed with his attitude.

In response to a fans question on twitter... on how he felt about Bale... all he said was ''pitiful''.

Sheesh...

Eh, opinions are like **********. Sometimes they get itchy.

Just like an opinion on what a voice actor thinks about someone. :hehe:

I knew someone would say that.

Look.

Conroy can think whatever he likes about Bale, but blasting and mocking him in public is pretty spineless, dumb**** behaviour IN MY OPINION.

Got a long one, and BOY! You have all been decieved and lied to! Click the death rolling SPOILER tag:

I am a 15 year old girl, on the the track team, cheerleading, a straight A student, with lots of friends, I am an artist, a writer, and I still love to watch spongbob even though I'm 15 haha. I like the movies, the mall, and the beach. I have a puppy, my older sister, and my mother, my sister who I am closer to anyone in the world.

No one would ever suspect that I am a voreaphile. As most voreaphiles, well they are like me, normal people who keep it a secret. But why should they tell the world? It is no one's business wat I fantasize about, and I'm sure everyone has their own little strange thing about them, whether it be another strange fetish, something weird they have done, or some weird hobby they have.

The point is, that I am not sure why I have this fetish, but I do know that it is something that I developed as a child. I do know that people who are voreaphiles are no different from anyone else, as it is merely a FANTASY fetish, that remains in the mind of the individual. They keep it to themselves, heck someone you know might be a voreaphile! I have realied lately, that just because I have one weird fetish does not make me a sick, disgusting, weird person, because everyone has they're own little something.

Recently, I have tried to analyze why I am attracted to M/f soft vore. Being a petite, short, and thin girl, I'm only about 5ft 1" and 98 pounds, I'm not what you'd call "strong." I have this attraction to larger men, not like buff, or muscular, but like tall guys.

Most girls are attracted to tall guys, so that's normal. I like feeling protected by my boy, like if I was in danger, he cares about me, and he could protect me.

So In a way, I am attracted to a dominant man. I'm all for equality of women and stuff. But I like having a man bigger and stronger than me, who can protect me. I feel safe with a man who is tall and strong. If that makes sense.

So there we go, I think my attraction to vore is due to a combination of my attraction to strong, dominant, men, who can protect me, as well as my childhood fear of vore. Although connected in a strange sort of way, I see vore, as male physical domination of a woman, and that in my mind shows he can protect her, and care for her.

So that's it. My vore story, and why I think I'm attracted too it. Probably the longest answer on here, but there you go straight from a voreaphile herself.

Call me weird, call me strange, I know my attraction to vore is weird. But there's nothing I can do about it, I've tried to make it go away, but the truth is it wont. It's something I will have to learn to accept overtime.

this is one for the books.

This story by ETM is infamous.

Our next submission is The Immortal's:

Tale of the Werewolf.

A bunch of friends went on a camping trip. They found a nice place in the woods for their camp site in the late afternoon and had a nice fire going right as it turned to night. Everything was fine. Except for the full moon high above them in the night sky. Their friend Leno, who they also called jackass as he reminded them of the talk show host who screwed over Conan, got up nervously and said he has to excuse himself. They all assumed he went to take a pee pee or a poo poo. Or maybe the dreaded d word as they had made the mistake of having Taco Bell before arriving in the woods.

About ten minutes after Leno left the camp fire site, they all heard a wolf howl in the distance. Tara stood up, looking fine as ever and said sarcastically 'I hope that wasn't a werewolf, geez.' Bobby, Daffney, Mick, and Angle all laughed. As soon as they got done laughing a giant werewolf leaped out of the darkness of the night. It stood on it's back legs and howled at them. Bobby grabbed Tara and shoved her at the beast. It picked her up and threw her twenty yards into a tree head first, killing her instantly. Angle charged at it but it crawed into his chest with ease, sending him to the forest ground sprewling blood.

Bobby took off to his left running like the girl he was. Mick shouted at Daffney to run back to the car, which was in the direction Bobby was heading. The werewolf slowly took steps towards Mick. Mick stood his ground and closed his eyes. He opened them and his eyes are red! He ducked a strike from the werewolf at Flash like speed. He blocked a series of strikes from it with ease, then sent it flying back first into a tree with his mind. It whimpered as it began to stand up. Mick 'Should not have turned, Leno.' Behind him a person stepped out of the shadows. It's Leno. 'I didn't, Cousin Chuck did.' said Leno as he aimed a gun at the back of Mick's head. Mick turned around right as a bullet met his head. Blood splattered into the fire from Mick's head. The werewolf walked over to the dead body and kicked it into the fire. 'I said just scare them and get Mick alone and kill only him. What's done and done.'

I confess that I like to wear women's panties. I wear them everyday. My gf knows, so does my mom. It's all good.

Nothing wrong with that.

I confess I wonder what human flesh tastes like. Sometimes when I'm eating meat I pretend it's human. :ninja:

Something wrong with that.

I'm not saying I'd go out and murder someone and eat them.

But if you met a hard core Voreophile, you wouldn't hesitate to nosh on some shin.

Yeeeaaaah you're kinda creepy. :o

But I'm not judging you.

I'm totally judging you.

Well half the people here thought I was creepy the first time they saw my picture, so nothing lost, I guess.

Wow, I am NOT alone! :wow:

This film was great... I thoroughly enjoyed the old Indiana jones type feel to it.

My only issue was the major issue was that everyone recognizes is the Blue suit... WHY BLUE and WHY a Blue color palette. it made no damn sense.. What's up with this whole inspiration from Avatar. Blue magic energy lighting weapons, Blue costumes, Blue overall look to the CGI backgrounds and skies and sets... all looked like Januz Kaminski dull blue. Why are they ALWAYS Trying to confuse the damn audience... just stop, stop in the name of the lawwwee, inspector clouseau style malayali hupti de la bambo sethu allah hi allah kel rehmatullah... khulam khullah rehem matullah... il hoodim, don't try to deny... this confusing made some audience member who have no intersted in keptin USA or American Keptin then sudden see movie cuz it REMIND THEM OF BIGGER GROSSER AVATAR... THEY SWINDLED AUDIENCE AGAIN... WHY

Echostation is ****ing insane. He thinks audiences will think Cap is Avatar because the SKY IS ****ING BLUE?

The reason Cap is blue? Since he's been blue for the past, oh, 70 years?

The color blue has been in movies long before Avatar. If he sees blue and automatically thinks 'Avatar', he's....mentally challenged.

She's as pale as snow and those zips are terrible.
2: I agree on the fact that she should wear a cowl, but the character is based on the word cat-burglar not on an actual cat person. If she is flexible and feline in her movements as well as independent, strong and beautiful then she is Catwoman.
3: I'm glad we won't get that childish stuff this time.

I have finally watched Captain America.

It's just what I expected: a bad movie. And it's very sad to say so, because I was hoping I was wrong.

Evans still has boyish looks and demeanour; the outfit is a watered down version of Captain America; Red Skull is not a villain, it's just make up and special effects, nothing else, a void character; Bucky's death is irrelevant, cause it doesn't have the perfect timing it has in the comics, leaving Cap hopeless and desperate at the end of the war, to wake up in another time and place: in the movie, it's just a cliché of "dead friend" that strenghtens his motivation; poor Atwell is also a cliché of the "strong woman". Etc, etc, etc.

The first act almost convinced me it would be a good ride: it has some "Riders of the Lost Ark" thing about it, but the cheap patriotic innuendo is already spoiling the story. After the first act, it's downright crap.

It's 3 out of 10, for me.

Even worse: the last photos from Cleveland are terrible. Captain America's look is a DISASTER. His boots look like sneakers, his cap and all his outfit are from some Comic Con (Thor is also looking cheap). How can they make such mistakes after almost 20 years of perfecting the translation comicbook - cinema? Beats me.

Oh well. Maybe it is the end of superhero movies. And seeing Catwoman in Nolan's upcoming Dark Knight Rises, doom is spread in all directions.

Do not ever forget this guy.

Can you give more detail on how you are successful with women?

Ok. Before I went to High School I went roller skating with friends and there was this attracive brunette named Ashley who liked me. Ashley friend who was blonde came over and told me that her friend likes me. So I ended up skating with her and she just keep staying close to me.She was really attracted to me. Then there are other times where I have managed to carry a conversation with many different women that I like in High Schoo. I have been the ones to start the conversation usually, and I have been able to get along with them, and look them in the eyes. There was a blonde in High School who was a Senior one year ahead who would keep telling me I was looking hot. Then there was the woman I knew my Senior year the same grade as me who I was really attracted to and got along with really well. Close to the end of the school year I asked her if I could get a hug and said yes. We walked down the hall with both arms around each other. This is the same woman after graduation I was walking to my car after graduation and I noticed she was ahead of me. So I started to walk faster and then ended putting my arm around and ask if that was fun. I think she said the graduation was boring her mom was one the side smilling I couldn't what she said but it defenitly seemed like I was accepted and that I am charming....

Not sure if anyone's aware of this shocking Hollywood revelation, but legend goes like this: Tom Hanks pisses in the movies that are considered his best films. In other words, he does not pee in The Ladykillers or The DaVinci Code.

But boy, he goes to town in:

Saving Private Ryan

The Green Mile - He has a urinary tract infection, and we see him try to pee (with pain) several times.

Cast Away - He pees near the palm trees, and:
BONUS: He poops, and is shy about it, and covers it with sand.

Apollo 13 - Tom Hanks pisses in space.

Forrest Gump - After 15 Dr. Peppers, he tells JFK he has to pee.

Road to Perdition

A League of Their Own - He pees for a full minute in front of ladies.

The Terminal

All of these movies feature Tom Hanks going Numero Uno.

Coincidence?

http://i.imgur.com/6LW6p.jpg

Listen, I'm going to be honest here...but I really think there is something up in starting a thread about someone peeing even as a joke thread. Now, it's not like I'm against pee, peeing, or hell, even being peed on, but you need to step back and realize that you've created a thread observing a famous actor pissing on screen.

I don't know if that's really all that harmless or not. I'm just...not sure. A very gray area is being stained yellow here.

Scarlett's midsection looks pretty pudgy to me... Something I don't want to see on Black Widow. She should've exercised more for the role. Speaking of which, I hope Sam got in shape for the role of Fury this time.

Your crazy dude. She's in good shape. She's just not anorexic.

I'd like to butter that biscuit :hrt:

I don't understand why some people have a problem with the pudgy comment. There's obviously a slight pudge there, it isn't too hard to see. I'm not saying Scarlett looks horrible, because she doesn't at all. What I'm saying is that I think she should be in slightly better shape since she's portraying Black Widow. I have the same problem with Sam Jackson as Nick Fury, but his pudge is a lot more obvious.

Yeah, during the first Red Hood arc in Batman & Robin. Talia took him and replaced his spine.
Which she could control, and made Deathstroke take control of Robin's body to fight Dick! :yay:
Talia just hates Dick so much!
She has problems with Dick, certainly, but she has worked with Dick when she had no other recourse in the past.
Usually when you have problems with dick, like chaffing or what have you, it's best to give it a rest for a bit. Maybe Talia should take five.

However, its just . . . it feels moves like this can really affect public perception or how people might view the flick.

I mean it's pretty obvious. Time Warner properties get the star treatment. Look at all the Watchmen posters that were posted pages back. That was WB's movie and look how much more effort was put in there to making them look good? Not so much here for Avengers. Halle Berry's Catwoman got a ****ing cover story from EW.

EW is a joke. I blame them and put this on their shoulders.

At the same time, I'm confused why Marvel/Disney who seem to have been very careful and selective on all the material on this flick that's out there . . . why would they approve or let this cover go on the shelves?

I mean I ask, are we just being too picky about this? Is it because we're fans? Are other people in the general public going to see this cover and be interested?

Shame on you EW. Shame on you.

I say bombard that EW guy's Twitter and show how disappointed we are with how they put that cover together.

and it continues lol

I was thinking the exact same thing with regards to Time/Warner. I mean, I'm sure no one within that company forced Ruffalo to give that "pouty" look, or the others to stand there and look....whatever. However, this cover looks like some kid just put this together in his basement at the last minute. There's no excuse for this amateurish-looking creation.

I don't think it's being picky. I think we all have reasonably high hopes and somewhat realistic expectations for the final product. However, when it comes to this cover......I mean, first impressions are everything. Here's to hoping most people will be able to look past it and find the content inside exciting and compelling enough to raise their excitement level just a little, and hope that next spring, when the real marketing begins, this monstrosity of a cover will be but a distant memory.

Can't wait to see how polished and perfect the cover for TDKR will be.

I don't know how anyone can like Ironman's score, that is the worst comic book movie score that I have ever heard in my life, well the worst one from a major comic book movie that is.

Here's a funny story....there was a poster at the SHH who liked a movie that many many others didn't. Everytime they said something bad about the movie he liked...he jumped immediately in to tell them they were wrong or to say shut up. He just could not understand why people would continue to say bad things about the movie he liked. He would say things like "Have you nothing better to do than to take shots at the movie I like!!! Can't you just say nothing at all instead of going out of your way to make bad comments about a movie you don't like...because others could like it and your comments could upset them."

And yet he went into other forums to make comments about how bad those other movies were and in doing so made the fans of those movies sad too.

Isn't that a funny story......

Just saw this posted in the lounge quoting someone in the batboards..

Our anniversary is next month and my wife and I just got into an argument because she wants to go out together on the day I'll be headed off to catch the prologue with Mission Impossible III. She asked if she could come and maybe we could go out afterward until I said I wanted to see it 20 times in a row. That shut her up.

First she said I was selfish, to which my response was, "hey, it's Batman". Then she told me I have mental problems and coming on this message board isn't good for me, to which I responded by punching her in the face.

These Batman films are just too important to me. I honestly feel more connected to the movies than I do my own family. I intend to sit and enjoy the prologue without any interruption or interference from my family. I will also bring $320 for atleast 20 viewings and keep a tally of how many times I've seen it so I can brag about it here. I'll probably bring some Kleenex too since I'll be bawling because the end of this Nolan epic is almost near.

Ok......so I'm posting this here instead of in tech because It's such a weird story that I think the community would appreciate.....Otherwise, it would belong in tech.
So....I just got a new computer....My old computer had a virus....but an expert told me that if I transferred The my documents and my pictures folders using a memory stick to my new computer the virus wouldn't transfer over. Now, I used a new, a totally new, memory stick. Everything seemed normal at first but now my My Pictures folder has thousands of pictures of the Kennedys, Maria Schreiber, and Arnold Schwarzenegger with my pictures interspersed among them. I never put the pics on my computer. Does anybody know what the eff is going on?

The year is 2011. Technology has advanced and nowadays computers are commonplace in households. They can be used to play games, get updated on what's going on in the world and to even talk with other people around the world via a message board. Meet Shemtov, member of the internet message board SuperHeroHype. His title claims he is a "Member of the Rebellion". But soon, he will delve into something more than what his title claims. You see, Shemtov's computer had been infected with a virus, corrupting it. Causing him to buy a new one. Unfortunately for Shemtov, this new computer is not like his last. In fact, this computer already came with a virus. A virus filled with conspiracy, lies and hate. One that can only be found, in....

Before I start I want to make one thing clear: I am a huge Spiderman fan. I saw Spiderman 1 when it first came out and I LOVED Spidermans 2 and 3. I have to admit when I heard they weren't going to make Spiderman 4 as planned I was disappointed, but I hoped for the best. I wanted to enjoy the new Amazing Spidermans as much as I liked the first ones. Keep this in mind when I found out what was going on here.

I was reading the wikipedia Amazing Spiderman today and was excited about the details, Lizard, Peter Parker, new cast. What about the writer though? All I hear is how great the new cast is, but not one word about the writer. Anyone find this strange? Once you look up who his name is you will not be surprised.

Remember this guy? Remember Nately Halloway?

There's more of this but here's just a sample... I bet he is laughing at us right now. :csad:

I see Avatar hitting 1.1-1.3B WW.

this thread gives me a good laugh

^^ Well you do know that they are saying Avatar could beat Titanic and ROTK WW, so seems anyone who laughed at Avatar fans is now having to rechant what they said Prison Mike.. Im just so happy the movie should beat weird films in the top 3 like Pirates 2 worldwide.. .. Its a good feeling being right. Im winning up to 1,000 betting friends against Avatar pulling major numbers.

You're beginning to frighten me.

oh dear :whatever:

just dont listen to him, its best not to.

Apparently the low gravity of Pandora (where SonofKrypton has obviously been spending his time for a while now) not only makes one's body soft, but also turns brains into mush.

^^ Go back some pages and read the incredible race to a billion MOS.. Its all true, Avatar is pretty much a near lock for 1B+ WW.. Not to mention HP heretic is great OS BO predictor and predicts at least 700-800M OS and 400+M here.

^^ And Sarge where the BO of this movie is going is beginning to surprise even me.
James Cameron's Avatar will hit 600-700M WW by its third week and will be playing exclusively in major 3D chains and IMax for 3-5 months.

I'm reading all the excitement of seeing a movie that is performing like Titanic in the 2000s. Me I live for this stuff, especially if its a movie that I have been calling the next big thing for 3 years.

What do you predict Sarge and MOS? Since you two both seem to be doubting what expert predictors and LA times and other articles are saying is likely going to happen.

Even if Avatar made only 350 domestic(And right now its on track to beat 500+M) , its still making at least 650-700M OS. Thats 1.0B or 1.05B WW right there.

we're not doubting the movie. we are doubting how sane you are.

i agree this looks like a ripoff of van helsing with lincoln in it! why hollywood why! they are makin a joke out of one of our greatest presidents! how about this one George Bush"weapons of mass destruction locator"in 3-d!

Do some research. This was a book, released in 2010, before it was a movie. Furthermore, maybe if you would read the book instead of making an assumption based on 1 minute of teaser footage you would understand it isn't intending to make a joke of a president. It takes historical events and puts a supernatural twists on them. Oh, the horror! Also, the book is nothing like Van Helsing. Way to damn a project without any substantial knowledge of it.

i knew it was a book and its a joke! lincoln slying vampires come on man! i rather see daniel day lewis as lincoln the way he should be! you really think its cool to mock a president with vampire ******** thats why this world is doomed!

Jesus christ no ones mocking the damn president! Lighten up a little. Its ****ing fiction. Like I said unless you've read the book or watched the film which you haven't you are essentially ignorant to its purpose or intent. Lincoln wasn't mocked anywhere in the book. The character showed the same discipline as he did in real life and the events were real with a supernatural twist. Its not as if they have Lincoln beating slaves while engaging in sexual rituals in the name of the dark beast. And while I respect the office of president the man himself, his name, or even his lofty accomplishments does not make him something akin to the gods or saints. He is still a man. He shouldn't be disrespected but you act like using him in a piece of supernatural fiction is blasphemy. Just ignore the film and problem solved.

Now I need to go blaspheme the other presidents, wouldn't want anyone to feel left out, while helping to run this once great nation into the ground through my youthful rebellion and disrespect for the dead.

i will not see the film! im just giving my opinion that its desrespectful because vampires arent real but to each its own!

What kind of world do you live in? Your comments about this film are borderling parody without an ounce of irony.

This ray guy has to be trolling.

What he's saying is the equalivant of saying that Raiders of the Lost Ark is insulting to the brave soldiers who fought and died during World War II because..(clears throat)...because the Nazis never fought a archeologist over a Christian Holy but dangerous artifact.

- Long story short, I hated my current job, so I got new one.

- I was nice enough to put in my 2 weeks at my current job, just for their convenience.

- The new job wanted me to start right away, and I looooove this new job, so I agreed.

- So now I'm working both jobs at once for the next 2 weeks, working 60+ hours a week. I don't have a single day off until March 24th (not a big deal).

- The current job that I'm leaving is now treating me like total crap. And now I'm asking myself, "Why even bother going?"

- The ONLY reason it would make sense to go to my current job is just so I can make extra money for these last 2 weeks. Right?

Or should I just say "**** them" and quit now?

Don't ever deprive yourself of the satisfaction of looking your boss in the eyes and quitting.
