I knew that some people would be adverse with this idea, but I really don't see anything wrong with it. My privates aren't dirty, and I shave them while taking a bath, as I do my face and head (I have a bowl to keep the stubble out of the bath water). So to me, it's no different than shaving my arms or my legs or whatever.

It depends on exactly what you would like to do.
If you simply want to trim the pubic hairs, then a good pairs of siscors would suffice, or perhaps some clippers set to either 1/4" or 1/2" depensing on your preference. Trim as necessary or as required.

Now, if you want to shave the nut sack, I would suggest a good blade. Don't use one of those "disposable" things, because I find that they don't cut as well. And unless you're going to swing away down there like Wolverine on a bad day, I wouldn't be worried about being called "One-Ball".... Anyway, simply shave and go slow and steady at the begining. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be wondering what the big deal was.

And the chicks will dig it... :D :D :D :p

I think shaving the "nether regions" is a nice thing to do, especially if you want someone else's face there. Also, it cuts down on the sweat, etc. and makes you feel all fresh :)

I use hair clippers on their shortest setting. That way it gets pretty close, but I'm not as worried about cutting myself and maybe "dropping the ball."

She's fluctuating--not sure if it's coming back cuz the iodine didn't get it all, or she just might be going into hypothyroidism right now. But the symptoms for it can be the same so we're wondering. Bloodwork results come back tomorrow or Wednesday, so we'll find out then.

I do it all the time. It feels much better without the hair...in many ways;)

To answer the above question...yes I have cut myself, but only very small knicks...

It doesn't itch so bad for me, maybe because I've been doing it so long...plus, if you use skin lotion with a lot of vitamin E on the areas after you've shaved them it helps a lot.

Well, as I've already stated, I shave my nutsack every other day, so it really doesn't have time to get itchy. Of the 2 or 3 times that I've shaved my pubic hair as well, it wasn't so bad until about a week later when it was pretty itchy, but that goes away after a day or two, and using vitamin E can help a lot.
And on occasion, I have knicked myself, but it's not that big a deal. I cut up my face a lot more.

What I do is I use the electric beard trimmer then I manually shave off the rest. Smooth as silk, no itchies. ^_^
