Draw Superman, Lois, and Lex, basing them on the actor/actress that you wish to play them, and styling them how you want them to look in the movie.

Before we start, we'll both list the actors we want for those three roles. After that, no changing them.

If interested, give me a time frame on how long you'd need. I'll need about a week and a half.

When the time is up, we'll both post our work on here and members of the forum will vote.

This is a chance for you to put your money where your mouth is.

It was meant to be an epic challenge for the whole board to see!

Sweet. Dec. 31 will be the deadline then. Don't post yours until the deadline, please. If we're both done, then we can post early.

Remember you gotta list your actors.

Mine will be Cavill for Supes, Greene for Lois and Jeffrey Donovan for Lex.

And if a Mod wants to volunteer to accept the final pieces and make the final thread, that would be sweet.

I like the Casting selection that jesusmagicka has chosen a little more, however I couldn't imagine voting for him if he plans on stripping Superman of his trunks. It is practically impossible to impress me with a costume design that rids him of his trunks. Nothing but blue from shield to boots always looks terrible IMO. But who knows, maybe he will come up with something really impressive.

From my understanding...this challenge is the result of a conversation in the SUIT DESIGN thread where they were debating the suit with or without briefs and whether the hair S curl is iconic/needed/looks good/looks bad/was used a lot in the comics/etc.........

In my opion all of that comes down to primarily artistic interpretation of design not actor selection. If the two participants feel different, then we need to get the rules clarified before this goes further.

i'm thinking once we post our entries, voters will decide on whatever entry they prefer as an overall piece. i, personally, would rather everyone judge based on EVERYTHING (technical precision, artistic skill, casting, and personal taste) and not focus on just one aspect of our pieces.

i'm pretty sure this is a grudge match between me and jesusmagicka, but once a winner is declared the champ will be able to defend their crown against someone else. how we'll determine who can challenge the champ......i'm not sure...
