Which part ?

I think he meant both. Personally, I don't wanna see ANY of the members go. :csad:......

Random Stuff:

Hopefully Ms. Marvel doesn't keep that aura surrounding her when she flies, it looks good on the alien Cap. Mar-Vell but not on the human-looking Ms. Marvel/Warbird. With any luck they'll make her one of the heavy-hitters of the Avengers. This show has a way of augmenting weaker characters' strength, Kang's armor is supposed to be able to barely lift 10 tons yet he was choking Iron Man and Captain America, whoo boy. Knocking around Executioner and Thor like he did. Not to mention Giant-Man's not supposed to be able to lift over 100 tons unless 100 feet tall or more, yet he was picking up that cargo ship.

Anyone expecting to see Graviton again? A more experienced Graviton'll be a much larger threat to the Avengers. Let's hope they keep that costume with the cape outta the picture.

For all intents and purposes: This show ROCKS!!!

With things at Stark Industries going as badly as they are, I don't think it would be too shocking to see Tony take a little break from the team which might be a pretty likely transition for Cap to take the reins. Personally, I'd also imagine ultimate pacifist hank breaking down after seeing his most personal creation become the Ultron we all know and love but who knows what might happen.

What?!:wow:

I love Graviton's classic look. I'd love to see the full cape and all make an appearance. He's like Magneto only minus the helmet and instead he's got the raised collar ala' Dracula thing going on...except it's white not black. Of course if they eventually do Count Nefaria, he's got pretty much the same look but just with a different color scheme.

Hmm, maybe Tony goes through his own personal crisis and Rhodey subs for him on the team as Iron Man. We already saw him in the micros.

Actually, Giant Man shouldn't be able to lift 100 tons or more, period. The most Pym is supposed to be able to lift at 100 feet is about 50 tons. That's because the taller he got, the more difficult it is for him to support his giant size.

{Shrugs] And yet he was still able to lift that Cargo ship. Which I admired the hell out of. That had to have put him in the 100,000 ton range.

The comic Graviton look is a little too cliche of an evil villain is all I'm saying. By keeping the look he had in Breakout they'd be avoiding that while also keeping the "NO CAPES" rule. Thor doesn't count.

Oh, something just came to mind, Ms. Marvel may get a chance to beat up the whole Avengers team like Cap, Black Panther and Hulk. After getting those powers, she may end up being disoriented and end up attacking the Avengers. It's a possibility, not that I'd like to see it...

So on the weight lifting scale what are the Avenger's and MoE's weight classes?

Anubis

Yeah, I always thought that was dumb. The size cap too. Glad they got rid of it. He just recently grew so big he made it to a whole other universe where Eternity kicked him in the balls.

Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes DVD coming April!!!

http://www.toonzone.net/news/articles/36373/avengers-earths-mightiest-heroes-comes-to-dvd-on-april-26-2011

I was afraid of this. They will release few episodes and NOT the whole Season in one Box Set.

I read somewhere that the DVD distributors prefer cartoons and kids shows to be in 4 to 5 episode volumes because it keeps the price down. Their logic being that parents won't spend $40 or so for a full-season volume. Because of that, I doubt we will see a full-season volume.

Nathan

I'm sure we will see full-season volumes some time. Kids aren't the only ones watching these shows. There are adults too. Who've got jobs.

I really hope they put an end to new heroes always beating the crap out of the Avengers because it's getting pretty old. I mean they are call Earth's Mightiest Heroes not "Earth's Wimpiest Pushovers".

Thor, Hulk, and Abomination are all 100 ton+, while Wonderman is in the 90 ton range

After wondering for some time about the fuss of Vision, Scarlett Witch and Quicksilver, I looked at their respect threads and I say BRING 'EM ON!!! I use to not care for them but, I guess you could say sometimes I'm hard to impress. I don't like the idea of ANY of the members leaving but I suppose I can get used to these guys having screentime.

Another weekend lost and no new episode on March 6 according to the update guy from the toonzone forum...I hate him. I know I've already said this, but: God have mercy...

BigThor
02-25-2011, 01:42 AM
If Scarlett Witch & Quick Sliver were to replace anybody it should be Hank & Janet imo. Hank's reason for leaving could be guilt caused by Ultron getting to him and let's face it, Wasp is a great character but she's the least useful member.

I'm honestly starting not to care about the long break anymore, I'm used to it.

Denny67
02-25-2011, 11:51 AM
I am not sure that I “care” about the long breaks as much as I am confused by them. I have never seen a show that went about it’s season quite like this. I am just hoping season one comes out on Blu-Ray soon and maybe has all of the micro-episodes and some cool extras.

At first I hated the animation, the theme song, the censoring and I'm not a big fan of Marvel as it is. However the art style and animation slowly grew on me. The theme song grew on me. The censoring was a lot less noticeable and goddamn Hawkeye is awesome. I still hate Wasp though (inb4 nerdrage). Plus since most of that annoying pointless real life crap that got in the way for me in the comics is mainly 'adult issues', I'm hoping it doesn't make an appearance in this show at all. Can't wait for new episodes, this is easily one of my favourite shows on TV.

At the risk of repeating myself, I say again: Amen.

Seriously, this is RIDICULOUS. Do they have some kind of plan to arouse excitment or has Disney been in cahoots with DC to eliminate the competition's animation shows and let their animated series reign supreme ro something??
Give us more episodes and this time don't stop at THREE and START A BREAK again, I'm going nuts!!!

Don't get me wrong, it's a good show. Just not quite as good to me.

Marvel seems to have a history of getting cartoony style animation for their shows. SSM had that sort of animation yet their fight choreographer was a GENIUS. Fghts with Venom, GG and the Sinister Six were some of the best I'd seen ever on a TV show....AND THEY CANCELED IT.

Well lets hope this show doesn't get cancelled. Hate that know new episodes are still scheduled to air yet, this show was really building up some steam and alot of people I knew personally were finally starting to watch this show. Marvel just worries me with there animated shows, unlike DC it just seems like they may get cancelled for silly reasons. DC shows will keep going into the 4th and 5th season of there shows. Disney needs to release the rest of these episodes.

Let’s also not lose sight of the fact that they also changed time slots mid stream as well. Like YJ, it started out in the evenings and then jumped to the butt crack of dawn on Sundays. When you mix in long unexplained breaks with no promotions for the show to fill the gaps, and keep viewers engaged and most surprising… No merchandising! Well, it is almost like they are trying to set this show up to fail.

I would think it is safe to assume that we are in the minority of fans who are diehard enough to seek out info. The rest of the viewing public, I would think has just moved on by now. :csad:

as for the premiere of the second season, I don't expect it to air until october

Considering that season 2 had gone into post-production IIRC, I'm pretty sure all of the episodes in season 1 are finished.

So the billion dollar question now is: Why haven't they posted any new episodes in over a month if Season 1's done??

Whoever goes to that conference next saturday, could you please PM me a detailed synopsis of the new episode? Thank you very much.

According to his twitter, Christ doesn't know when DXD has the show scheduled.

At this point, I'd only hope that Disney XD is holding off the next seven episodes until late April or May to be better timed with the Thor movie premiere, especially if there's a big showdown with Loki at the end of the season. Disney XD loves to do their Marvel blitzes when new movies come out so I'd imagine they'd love to do that with new episodes of one of their shows. Anything past May might finally push me to the Dark Side.

The description of the new episode of Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes -- this episode might be the one we come back to for the new season. But no one outside of the company has seen it before now! SPOILERS AHEAD!

The Avengers are taking care of a hostage situation. Ant Man trying to quell the situation before violence erupts between the Avengers and the baddies. The baddies are the Serpent Society. Ant-Man pleads for a peaceful resolution -- until Hawkeye gets himself KO'd saving him.

Ant-Man getting scolded by the rest of the team for trying to talk to the villains instead of stop them, and causing Hawkeye to get hurt. Ultron stuff. Ant Man quits. Now the Avengers are discussing what to do with him. Whether they should try to get him back, or just let him be.

Thor asking Iron Man if his technology can help return him to Asgard. Hulk bursts in by knocking the door, holding defeated Super Apes. Really funny dialogue. Got lots of good laughs. Black Panther.

Iron Man and Thor discover that something weird is coming from the Avengers Tower. Wasp thinks Ultron is creepy. She's riiiiiight. Ultron just laser-eyed & blasted Ant-Man!

Iron Man's suit just went haywire. Blaster Thor!

Ultron's gone bad! Hulk thinks no one is dumb enough to attack them at home. Not after they trashed the Masters of Evil. Oh, Hulk. The Avengers ship now also going haywire, with Hulk inside. Attacking Black Panther.

Captain America & Hawkeye just got trapped and are getting attacked in the mansion! Jarvis now going haywire. Attacking Cap, Wasp and Hawkeye.

Now showing Ultron who is saying he is trying to instill peace and order. Eliminate chaos. To do so he needs to eliminate the Wasp and the rest of the Avengers.

Black Panther to the rescue! Cap knock outing the thing, that shoots at the Avengers, disabling Jarvis. Thor and Iron Man going at it now. Iron Man not in control of his suit. Thor disables Iron Man's suit with a good bolt of lightning

Ultron reveals that all the other baddies were just a distraction, so he could prepare for the elimination of the Avengers. Thor is attacked by Ultron and disappears. Leaving Mjolnir! Big smackdown.

WASP JUST GREW AND SMASHED ULTRON!!! Ultron's still good, though, just a little bit brushed. Ultron is doing lots of cool stuff & he's a total badass. The Hulk is returning into the atmosphere from space, in flames! Crazy shot of Hulk falling back to earth.

Ultron just blasted Cap and downs him. Ant Man arrives and recites a code to shut down Ultron. Ultron overrides the code. Hank Pym's back! Ant-Man tried to put Ultron down with commands. Ultron has evolved past Pym's programming.

Iron Man rolls in in the Mark 1 suit, design is very similar to the movie suit mixed with some comic influences and more. Really cool. Hulk crashes back into mansion. "Give me something to smash." Hulk vs. Ultron! HULK JUST RIPPED ULTRON APART! Enchantress appears.

Thor wakes up with the Enchantress standing over him in a ethereal meadow. Ends with a scene: Back to Pym who's trying to destroy Ultron stuff. Ends with Ultron's face coming back to life and him saying, "Upload Complete."

* Marvel has already started work on Season 2 of EMH, so we're getting lots of EMH action in there. Won't end the series before its time.

But you're right, let's try to stay positive on the subject. Two months will go by fairly quick, for some of us more than others. Although by then some of us will be on Avengers withdrawl...Moving on.

The Hulk actually crashing down back to Earth from space. Whooo...That's one nasty death fall to survive on.

Some how I didn't really expect Giant-Man go, but I guess it makes sense. Except the Avengers lost one of their heavy-hitters. Not to mention their genius.

Also I must say I haven't even seen the episode and I'm already impressed with Ultron. Taking over the Avengers Mansion's security measures, taking over the Quinjet, taking over IRON MAN'S SUIT. Is this gonna be a three parter or two?

It is a very long break. In fairness, between the micro's and the regular episodes, we got about 18 or so episodes worth of material with very few breaks until this last long one. That's very good for an original cartoon show these days. YOUNG JUSTICE, at best, can string along 7 episodes before a break on CN.

If this show was on any of the other kids' networks, and it wasn't a show they dumped on early weekend mornings without promo, it would have taken at least twice as long to air the 26 episode run. Heck, Brave And The Bold has been in their 26 episode season 2 since 2009.

Post by Josh Fine at Toonzone.net:

'Ultron-5' is indeed episode 022. There are two episodes before it that you haven't seen yet (and they will air in order.) Don't count those episodes out either, there are a few big-time developments in them!

And just to clear up the debate, 'Widow's Sting' is episode 019. It technically comes after the Kang trilogy, though it works almost equally well before it (which is why we were okay with running it first.) When you watch them in the correct order, you'll notice that there's one minor character point that flows a little better that way--but it doesn't surface until episode 021.

Thanks for being patient with the break. I know it's tough to wait for your FAVORITE show to come back but May's right around the corner now!

Why does Spider-Man always get so much attention? I'm pretty sure it's a chicken in the egg kind of thing, but Spider-Man is so...well...naff. TBH though I really hate the character design they went with . It looks as if Oberon from Gargoyles (http://gargoyles.wikia.com/wiki/Oberon) decided to dress up as Malekith ! Compare this:

Look at the area of solid black behind his right shoulder, it seems like he is stepping out of the shadows. Oh and add shapechanging to the list as well ;). Just found out the voice actor is Quinton Flynn, which means Malekith sounds like this (http://www.quintonflynn.com/audio/Quinton%20Flynn%20-%20Comm%20Char.mp3) (apparently he likes Diet Pepsi). Seriously, QF is a good voice actor.

Also, could someone PM those screencaps on a different website, PLEASE!! Or better yet just copy and paste them onto a document or something. My internet filter is saying the atoman website is a violation of my internet access.... I'd appreciate it, thank you.

If Disney is selling the rights for an episode to another country, they are not selling the order of airing. If ABC Austrailia has all the episodes and like them to show 5 times a week without a break, so they are free to show. Marketing and break stuff is for us only.

Looks like a very awesome line up of episodes and threats. Malekith, an Ultron saga, and a grand finale with Loki and the Masters Of Evil. I don't mind a Kree/Skrull War being saved for next season. Firstly, we know that second season is in the works as we speak. Secondly, space sagas haven't been done in superhero cartoons for a while, so no need to rush into it.

Can't wait until new episodes start airing again...not in Poland or Australia, but in the U.S.!

So basically they are going to be showing the rest of season 1 in April internationally before the US. I just don't get it.

I know they didn't have a US broadcasting partner for the first season of Wolverine and The X-men, but I don't think the creative team was happy that the show was already out and about everywhere else and spoilers and images and downloads were already leaking onto the net in 2008 almost a year before the show's US premiere.

Happened with JLU, happened with TSSM, network people just don't get it. Especially for a cable network that is hardly in every package that, if they lose a few thousand viewers to internet DL's, that's maybe 5% of their audience.

NickToons waited until the Spring to start airing Wolverine and The X-men in 2009 because of the new Wolverine movie.

If you are trying to push the Thor movie why not show the new episodes BEFORE Thor comes out? I just don't get this logic. It's showing all over the world and it's going to get leaked and downloaded online beforehand. Just show it at the same time if you got it. This makes no sense to me.

I know you all are gonna say "we still haven't seen the final 7 episodes", but you shouldn't have to wait until the end of a season to match a fight from the beginning of the season.

Had Hulk referred to himself in the third person before?
I believe he did though I can't remember when exactly.

Love the threat from Imaginationland crack. Tony & Thor verbally sparring over the pros & cons of science and magic was cool.

After quickly scanning all Hulk scenes in the series:

Hulk versus the world
Gamma World Part 2
Kang Dynasty

and the recent episode. But give it time, we'll probably get more before the week is over. :yay:

I don't mean to complain, but does anyone else find it odd that Thor hasn't created a tornado even once in this show?

I said that because it seems like that would've been perfect to counter Malekith's blizzard during the final fight of the episode.

Eh, I guess lightning is more popular a gimmick than other weather control stuff. It would be nice to see that though. I do think this was the 1st time he used Mjolnir in the series to try to move between worlds.

I guess it is, but creating tornadoes is probably his second most popular form of weather control.

He did open up a portal to return Hulk from the frost giant's world in the Masters of Evil episode.

I could be wrong, but I think he says, "No one controls the Hulk" In "Some Assembly Required"

People are saying they are being aired on a day by day basis in Australia, right? So, if the last one was online so fast, maybe the next will be too.

After a veery long wait, that was some action packed episode. So many great & classic nods in there (Stark hating magic aspect, a nods to West Coast Avengers & Arctic Armor from Iron Man v1 #318).

I'm also glad, that Yost & crew used Malekith & Casket of the Ancient Winters from Walter Simonson's run on Thor. Epic stuff! I wish, that someday in some episode Thor will let Tony see Asgard & be amazed & sorry, for what he said earlier (just like in Joe Casey's Avengers: EMH v1)

You want less action and more dialogue? The season is wrapping up man, it's time for the action to amp up.

I think most of the season favored dialogue over action (including this episode), so it's about time for action to take center stage.

I finally got some more interaction between Cap. America and Hulk. I'm impressed with how Cap is now officially on everyone's good side.
