I always found TV edits interesting, especially when they have alternate takes. I came across these clips of the TV edit for The Crow

My favorite ever was in one of the earlier TV airings of Big Daddy:
Julian: Is that the guy with the old back (instead of balls)?
Sonny: (to Vanessa) Oh, come on, I bet they're nice.
Sonny: (to Julian) I don't think you're supposed to say "back;" "testicles," OK?

"Yipee-kay-ay, Mr. Falcon." -Die Hard on regular TV
This is from ages ago, but the first Police Academy movie changing "Drop that stereo before I blow your goddamn nuts off, ***hole!" to "Drop that stereo before I blow your gosh-darn knees off, eggroll!" has always been a favorite.
Some regular TV versions have edited the Libyan terrorists completely out of Back to the Future, which makes it look like Marty jumped into the DeLorean and just left Doc behind to be killed.
Back to the Future Part II: "You're dead, you little son of a *****!" changes to "You're dead, you little snot-nosed brat!"
Back to the Future Part III: "He's an ***hole!" changes to "He's an idiot!" although Marty is clearly mouthing the other word.

Cruel Intentions for ABC Family is one of the most hilarious ones ever.

My top 3:
"I have had it with these monkey-fighting snakes on this Monday-to-Friday plane!" (Snakes on a Plane)
"Freak you, Sam Rothstein, freak you!" (Casino)
"Yippee-ki-yay, Mr. Falcon!" (Die Hard)

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Scarface's TV edits
"where did you get that scar tough guy, eating pineapple?"
"I told you don't fool with me, you stupid jerk look at you now"
"why don't you try sticking your head in the toilet, see if it fits"
"this place is like one big chicken waiting to get plucked"

"Do you see what happens, Larry? Do you see what happens when you find a stranger in the alps?"

I always thought this one from Dumb and Dumber was funny.
Lloyd:Maybe we're not as good of friends as we thought. I mean, if one beautiful girl can rip us apart, then maybe our friendship isn't worth a damn. Maybe we should call it quits right now.
Harry: You just tell me where to sign, bud.
Lloyd: Right on my ass SANDWICH after you kiss it!

I remember a few older movies like Ghostbusters and Back To The Future having alternate TV edits that would air back in the day but now even those alternate scenes are gone since it now seems the networks just show the theatrical versions and bleep out the profanity.

I've heard "Yippee-ki-yay, my friend".

On Reelz channel they were showing Scarface but it wasn't the edited for TV version but the theatrical with the profanity taken out. The only thing was it was just the F-word taken out, they left in the A-words and the S-words, HUH??!
Why isn't the TV version ever shown anymore, is it just exclusive to syndication? I don't get it.

I'd rather they just bleep words out if they show it on tv instead of totally ruining the mood and enjoyability of the movie by putting in cornball swearwords.
