View Full Version : Which down and out 80's actor will be helped by Nolan/Snyder in this?
Both of these guys have a knack for pulling out of left fieldhttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif (http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=347603#) casting decisions and pulling long forgotten actors back into the limelight, sometimes for cameos and sometimes for significant roles.
Dawn of the Dead - Ken Foree, Scott Reineiger
Batman Beginshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/mag-glass_10x10.gif (http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=347603#) - Rutger Hauer
The Prestige - David Bowie
Dark Knight - Eric Roberts, Anthony Michael Hall
Inception - Tom Berenger
Suckerpunch - Scott Glenn
So who will be in Superman? Admitedly this is just a joke topic and it's more than likely that Man of Steel wont continue the trend. But I sort of hope it will.
Superman Man of Steel - Tim Curry? Powers Boothe?
Jan Michael Vincent :wow:
Eddie Dean

Michael Biehn already got a lot of retro lovin' from Planet Terror and forthcoming in Paul.
...as crazy homeless guy #2. He wears his underpants on the outside and serves as Clarks inspiration for his suit.
Afterwards he makes a second act cameo at the scene of a crime, where Superman looks over to him and comments in Dayid Goyer style. "Nice shorts."

I want the "Say Jim Wooooo! That's a bad outfit wooooo!" actor back.
"Nice coat" is the closest to that we've ever had.

I think it would be hilarious if they could get bruce campbell for a cameo, especially so after he did cameos for all 3 spidey films.
show him with a better job in Superman, and his line could be something like, ''now this is a much better gig than my last one''.

has there been the who will Michael Cain play discussion yet? Once that gets settle then we'll know what parts are available for Louis Gossett Jr.
If Scott Bakula isn't Perry White, I'm boycotting the movie.

Well as an actor anyhow. Obviously he doesn't need the acting money though.

Eric Roberts was not down and out. He may not have been a big movie presence but on the tv market he got around.
