I got to see a shield catch and and a throw in HD. I'm pretty happy as of right now. But I still want to see the rest of the trailer.

And I want to hear more of Tommy Lee Jones speak, and less of the news anchor. Those few shots of explosions and gunfire has me super stoked for some great Cap action scenes.

Interesting. I'm not sure if they're using the tech they used to shrink him in the other shots in the teaser where we saw him full bodied pre-serum or if they are using more traditional hollywood tricks such as baggy clothing and forced perspective. The shot when it cuts to the bully makes me think there might be some forced perspective going on.

Not sure, but I saw it in the video game demo and it was sweet. I've just always pictured a scene in the movie where he's running in the middle of a skirmish only to find himself confronted with a tank. Then we get the viewpoint from slightly behind him as a shell is fired off at him and he stands his ground with the shield.

At any rate, why hasn't someone up'ed an HD version of the clip yet? Surprised it hasn't been done already.

I'd say so far IM2 has the best cinematography of the Marvel films released and Captain America, of what very little of seen (didn't watch the preview, gonna wait for the trailer), is a super strong contender to take the title if not for the awesome lighting alone. Thor's seems to capture the grand scale very well too, but I'm liking Cap's a bit more!

He is, but I agree with Rock. It's not a comment about his entire performance of course, but his delivery of that line didn't sound so great. Of course it might sound better with the rest of the scene in the finished film, but as of right now it sounded a bit, as Rock put it, dull. It was as if he wasn't trying.

Huh? Tommy's character isn't leading them. He's not out there in the fight. Those were boot camp scenes we've scene in various clips.

Just from watching that trailer I know Steve's quest to join the army is going to be very moving. I was almost getting choked up when he approached that poster(?) and later was rejected by that doctor.

Thanks to everyone who provided a link to the ET segment. I think I've watched this trailer preview now about 100 times over our crappy WiFi connection here in our hotel. And every single time I watch it, I get even more excited for ]Captain America. If that was even possible. Chris Evans really seems to have brought it to play Steve. I really don't see any ounce of cockiness or him trying to be funny or anything here. Every scene he's in, Evans seems noble, determined and brave, exactly how I picture Steve Rogers.

Also, the Back to the Future-esque bullying scene made me fangirl drool. It's lovely in HD and the tech used to make Evans look like pre-serum Steve Rogers appears to be flawless. The use of the garbage can shield worked. Very natural. I LIKE!!

They werent doing the Nazi salute as we all know there are no Nazi's in this film. It's simply a case of rationing during the war - regulations stated that they could only use deodourant on any one armpit on any one day so they always had to give the other one a good airing when they could.

There must have been a decent breeze going at that point for them all to do it in unison at the same time.

After listening to the preview trailer again, I think Lee Jones is great, you can just tell they edited that clip badly as he's halfway through a sentence. The reason it doesn't end punchily is because he's clearly still talking.

When others have been released they are usually later at night this side of the pond. If it's out later than 8.00pm EST then it'll be into Friday here (we are normally 5 hours ahead of the East Coast but their clocks go forward a couple of weeks before ours).

It is easier to pick apart a still image than a moving one. In the clips when they're moving, he looks fine. Though, he does look better in the exterior shots than interiors admittedly.

It's all cool guys, i literally just stumbled upon it when searching on Captain America on Google.

The trailer is good and Captain America is shaping up to be something special. It reminded me of Iron Man 1, with the right amount of humour and drama. I don't know Marvel did it, but somehow they have made Captain America realistic so hats off to them. Let's hope the rest of film lives up to the awesomeness of the trailer.

I agree, this trailer is better than the Thor trailers. I love the cinematography. It's absolutely beautiful to look at.

I think this is going to be Marvel's best film to date.
