My biggest fear about the Avengers is that Marvel will try to micromanage again. I don't want The Avengers to feel small at all. To be honest, I want Transformers like scenes in terms of the action feeling huge and epic.

That might happen, but only time will really tell. Whedon is prob somewhat constrained due to what came before him, but it'll be interesting to see how much creativity he has.
