I'm sure everyone is gonna say Balder, and I'm with ya on that. I'd also like to see Brunnhilde.

I'd really like to see Hela, Hermod, Bor, and Karnilla each make an appearance eventually.

I would also like to see Heimdall, Sif, and The Warrior's Three have larger roles in the sequel.

Well I think the sequel should be in asgard and not earth just because the avengers will take place on earth and there is lots of time to showcase Thor being a hero there in those sequels which you know there will be lol , so the warriors three and sif should have bigger roles . It would be a good time to introduce balder and karnilla would aslo be a good choice .

One character I find intrersting that was not used in the comics alot , that I know of . I am only now getting into reading them was sigyn . I think she would be a good character to bring to life just for the simple fact that she is so loyal to someone that is evil without being evil herself and it would be intresting to see her motivations for it .We see alot of thors relationships with jane or sif , but only a little of loki's and how different they are . And I think she would contribute to loki's more vulnerable side especially in the beginning when he feels the most alone and have him come back in the sequel and claim her like he does in the comics . This first movie would have been a good way at least introduce her not as his wife but someone who catches his eye and is kind to him but remains in the backround .

thats my opinion anyway ... :yay:

I'm wondering how they could bring in Balder, because it's pretty clear from the movie that Thor only has one brother, being Loki (and adopted at that).

I was also wondering the same thing I think the one way would be just have him save the life of renne Russo character and give her a bigger role because isn't she balders mother?

Well, he didn't know he was Thor's brother in the comics until recently, so I would say... just don't bring it up. Kind of like how they never brought up Sif/Heimdall's sibling relationship in this one.

Agreed, yeah I think that's the best route to go in my opinion.

Beta. Ray. Bill.

I second Bill. Would be awesome.

I hope the sequel stays in Asgard and maybe even goes cosmic.

Like I said before I'd HATE to see Beta Ray Bill, introducing another character with the same abilities as the main hero kinda makes them seem "generic".

Balder. Say he's Thor's twin who Odin hid to prevent Ragnarok.

They got away with saying 'He who is like a brother to me' for decades.

Beta Ray Bill would be difficult to pull off well. His original name would obviously be a lot more alien and difficult to pronounce. 'Bill' then should be a nickname given to him by a smart alec human like Darcy :cwink:. The greatest challenge however is redesigning him so that he looks believable as a live action character.

I say keep Bill away from the Thor franchise, one Thor is enough.

You know, I think that Jason Momoa would make a really good Frost Giant type main character, perhaps dip more into Loki's lineage in the future and cast Momoa as his brother Byleistr.

The Rigellians who Team up with Thor to face galactic threats like the Rhunians or Xorr the Giant Jewel.

I like that idea. That sounds like something Odin would do.

Thor's twin? Couldn't he just be Thor's regular brother?

I have this crazy sequence in my head of a Beta Ray Bill cameo, where he's enslaved to Amora, but is freed after Thor is KOed, and then he picks up the hammer and wrecks shop.

Balder could be a fun foil/rival for Thor.

The onscreen rivalry/friendship could be epic. :word:

there should be a hot actress to play Hela and her headdress should be incorporated into the outfit.
