Don't know if this is true, but someone said it looks like the Tumbler but with large intakes at the front, no wheels, and fans/blades behind the intakes. Sounds like a hovercraft to me......if that description is true.

So maybe this has been discussed, but how much in snow do you think they will shoot? I feel like it may just be a scene or two because I feel like there wasn't that many days/streets listed for snow. I kind of hope I'm wrong though, at least one big action sequence would be awesome. I just hope it's not just for a quick flashback sequence or "time passing" sequence.

But, things to remember:
1) Remember it was rumored that they shot some NYC snow arials in the spring
and
2) If it was just for a tiny shot or sequence, they probably would simply do VFX and not go to the trouble of doing it for real

I don't find it hypocritical of me to do so. If some of you don't like the way he has to do things or how it comes across, then simply ignore his posts. No sense in *****ing about the whole thing.
There are just those here who feel his word is good and understand the restraints, can take it for what it is and move forward.

Yeah. Bale shot his scenes in the UK a while back, so he's letting it grow out. After tomorrow he'll have to be kept clean-shaven throughout, and that's a nightmare to do every day. I remember Bale was sporting a goatee during the press conference at Hong Kong right before shooting the nighttime sequence.

I'm surprised Anne Hathaway wasn't at the press conference, maybe Nolan didn't want her spilling anything crucial there.

I find it interesting if we can presume that the scenes are tied together somehow based on this - that's what came to mind for me (and it would seem a reasonable thought), but I guess they could just as easily not be. Hmm.

I'm trying to connect the manor scenes with the hospital scenes and I still can't find a good story. It's possible though that there's a connection since both scenes involve Bruce.

I just had a thought. I know Nolan like's the Bond films and one of my favorite parts of Tomorrow Never Dies is when Bond has a remote control for his new BMW.

Doesn't make sense though. Lucius said they were prototypes and only 2 were in existence. Surely if the military were to place orders for them he would know. I'm guessing that maybe since the first one was destroyed and the cops got it (I'm assuming they picked up the wreckage) that it was found to be Waynetech property. And if logic follows they would investigate and a cover story would have to be given to them by Lucius. I'm going out on a limb here and speculating they would have to tell them it was stolen and no one noticed the missing inventory because that dept had been mothballed.

Now did they believe that or did they really start looking hard at Wayne and Lucius? Did they confiscate the other prototype? Or did Bruce have it too? (that would be my guess) Or did he have them make more (off the books) so the inventory wouldn't show a shortcoming and they could say only the designs/materials were stolen?

It'll be interesting how they explain this.

I read that back in June at a movie forum when there were fewer clues (just that it's two big stars in a superhero/comic book franchise and one is married) and the popular guess at that time was RDJ and ScarJo. But I guess now with more clues given the popular guess among the gossip forums is Bale and Hathaway. :o

I apologize if this has been suggested before, discussed to death already, or is off-topic, but is it possible that Bane's venom (if they are using the venom angle in the film) is actually a re-engineered strain of Crane's fear gas?

Hear me out: it might make sense that, at some point after weaponizing the blue flower compound, the LoS found it had other qualities - i.e., lending heightened perception and strength to its victims.

Seeing Bane's mask full-on in the trailer, it seems much more like a breathing apparatus than an injection system. Since the chemical has to be inhaled to have an effect (hence the whole microwave emitter in BB), perhaps the mask regulates the flow of the newly-engineered compound into Bane's lungs.

For me, it would be a non-hokey way to tie in the LoS, Bane, and many of the events of BB without seeming too forced.

meh I personally think these 3 are just going to be used for different shots or backups in case one fails for some reason or another. I wouldn't get too carried away on the idea there will be multiple Tumblers either chasing each other or being used as decoys.

For example: didn't the engineers who designed the Tumbler recognize it when Batman began using it? I take it Fox didn't make the whole thing by himself.

He even says, "WE never could get the damn bridge to work, but this baby works just fine." confirming that - as should be obvious - more than one person worked on this project.

Why? Bane in the comics is extremely interested in Batman, because he thinks he "controls" Gotham, and Bane want's Gotham to himself. After he sees Batman in The Tumbler, controlling Gotham, his interest is peeked, and he starts figuring out who Batman truly is with his intellect.

Plus, we don't know what origin Nolan will give Bane. Will he be some doctors experiment? We don't know anything right now.

"Tumblers" I'm leaning to Bruce getting a new camo one, and painting it black. But, also someone else comes across a camo one and we get a tumbler vs tumbler chase...

"House" I feel this is Selina's are someone else that is a crime scene (therefore Gordon is maybe there). Even though we are in Pitts, not Chicago, now. I can't see Nolan drastically changing Gordon's iconic 2nd story balcony apartment. Unless his raise benefited the whole family, haha.

YES!!! I was always disappointed that Returns was filmed on a set with little to no location shots. Seeing that Batmobile tearin' it up in the snwo would have been awesome.

But, now, we'll get to see the Tumbler not only kicking snow but mostly likely crushing cars too! Imagine that scene! gorgeous :eek:
