Hmm.. either Bruce is there on a date of some sort - personal or business related, or he is alerted to it and arrives at the scene.
He may somehow understand ahead of time what will occur and be prepared, if not finding out about it as it's happening, or else possibly isn't alerted to it until it's nearly too late.

The next thing you know, someone blows a hole in the ground, players fall into the chasm. Chaos. Bruce is taken off guard because had no knowledge of it, nor could he have prevented it.

I also own the adaptation that you're talking about and there's not one place in that book where they tell you Selina is prostitute. Well there's two things I think about that... The first is that.. They probably actually don't allow phones, he just snook it in... On the flip side of that... When would you ever see a crowd at a football game without dozens of people using their phones to record videos and take pics

I doubt they'll even bother about just detailed elements, I think they'll likely want to stop all these photo leaks from happening... But with thousands of extras on set, I think it's really hard to prevent that.

I read they would be moving the extras around depending on the angle of the shots. Some CGI or compositing will probably be involved though, there's plenty of CGI in TDK despite all the practical effects.

No it's an explosion. but look at the fracture. also remember there are other sites that have been designated to have holes blown into them and the overall theme of the teaser poster and logo. It's just speculation on my part but I think they're going to try to cause a quake by strategically placed explosions.

I think this is the opening scene of the film... although that does make the masquerade ball seem slightly awkward. It could be that the Bruce and Selina are at the ball when all this is going on?

If Bane turns up on the scene unannounced and does this, it is indeed evil. The Joker gave a warning that he would blow up a hospital - time for police to narrow down targets and evacuate people. I don't think Bane will work that way.

I've been away for a long time, but I've got to say this is exciting. I lived in Pittsburgh for a number of years, and am very fond of the town. I went to college there and worked at the Science Center for a long time. I was there when they imploded 3 Rivers stadium and built Heinz Field. Kudos to you all who are able to get involved.

The ironic thing is that I now live about 2.5 hours from Chicago and they aren't even filming there... Go figure!

This is an actual human being, with an army of other people, riding warfare vehicles in a public place, and firing and shooting very real bullets and rockets into a mass number of other human beings.

Obviously there will be very little blood, and on screen violence, but if the scene is as described. I expect it to be very disturbing. It is essentially an act of terrorism on US soil. I just wonder how that would go down with the ratings board (i wouldnt want this scene to get cut :oldrazz:)

What's your definition of small? Killed a handful of dudes during the bank heist, killed Gambol, probably killed a couple of Gambol's assistants, killed the Chechen, killed Lau, killed the judge, killed the police commissioner, killed a cop at the hospital, killed a cop during the 18 wheeler scene, killed a bunch of cops and prisoners at the police station, and so forth. He had a pretty good body count for a character that was on screen for around 30 minutes and a lot of that screentime was philosophizing. :awesome:
