Yeah, to answer someone's post....super cool atmosphere here on the field. I was about 5 yards behind Nolan and Pfister and Emma and Roven while they reviewed the Hines Ward/explosion shot....I really couldn't see, but they seemed happy with it.

It's lax on set but the crew is very focused and professional, and they are nicely putting up with us standing around watching.

Tumblers are up now, mercs are out, Bane is up next.

If this movie is non-linear I could see this being the opening. Just imagine an awesome IMAX shot of the camera closing in on the stadium. As we get closer you hear the sound of the crowd cheering. It then goes to the kick off as we see the ball punted. We see shots of the crowd cheering and doing the wave.

Then a huge explosion. Three tumblers come crashing in. People ran in fear. Out steps Bane, but right before he gives his speech we cut to a few days earlier and the movie carries on from there.. The film would then later pick up at the same scene and show Bane giving his speech.

I could see something like that.

I actually heard that they could have filled the stadium for free, they had enough interest in it, just didn't wanna bring that much food, and find that much parking. Especially considering there is a Pirates Skyblast Night with a Train concert (sold out crowd of over 34,000) PLUS there is a Death Cab for Cutie concert that is literally about 200 feet away from Heinz Field at a place called "Stage AE". So there's nowhere to put an extra 55,000 fans for a movie tonight. Not gonna happen, it's just logistics. Although this movie is a big deal, there's other things going on in Pittsburgh tonight, lol.

P.S. I'll be going down for the baseball game so I'll see if I can see anything else while I'm down there in about an hour.

they were busing people in from a separate parking lot for security reasons, they only needed so many people (as stated here before)- they only need to create the illusion of a full stadium, so they only need enough people to do that.

That's not true, people were loving his voice and were extremely happy to learn that he wouldn't have an Australian accent (which was confirmed before the trailer). Sure there may have been small gripes, but nothing drastic. I remember many people compared the voice to Beetlejuice and thought it was creepy and great.

The negative response to that teaser was about the lack of footage, not the Joker's voice.

And honestly where he came from to me was never a big thing, it matters that he was in prison, was used for the Venom, and is intelligent in his manner. They did not use the Luchador mask, so that even more pointed to they were going with a different country of origin.

But it's one thing after another. Yes, I know both Nolan and Burton have changed things, but for the most part, the characters were still identifiable as their counterpart, even from the deviations. They might as well just made up a new villain to be in the movie. The only trait of Bane that we have so far, is his name.

So, by that logic. Batman should have Bale's accent, Gordon should have Oldman's accent and the Joker should have had Ledger's accent.

I highly doubt Cotillard is going to lose her French accent, she hasn't for a film yet and Hardy is known for his trashy brit accent. Throw in Caine's annoying cockney (very unbutler like) accent and this is just going to be great.

I know that, I just felt that from a lot of what we've seen they were not going to do that origin. More things pointed the other ways.
