it does appear new.. but why another nod to Singing in the Rain? when they already did the song?
Majik1387

Maybe they're doing an/the Usher song where he copied that scene from Singing in the Rain.
Sawyer
08-13-2011, 01:59 AM
Yeah, I'm starting to think that is new. The hats they're wearing look a bit different from the ones they wore for Singing in the Rain/Umbrella.

Well, for all we know, they could just be making their way to the set.
But, yeah, they didn't wear those coats for Singing in the Rain either.

I remember seeing a picture of them dressed like that back when they were filming Season 2. It's old.

You said a page or so ago that hopefully he would get more development as a character, then when you find out he's getting attention in an episode, you whine about it. There's no winning with you either way, so why bother pretending?
Also, no one said the entire episode was about Blaine, just like no one said Sanittany was over for good, and no one said Heather Morris hates it and never wants it to happen. You jump to conclusions at the drop of a hat, and then rant for the next ten pages about your theories and assumptions.

Hate to break up this little catfight (see what I did there? :awesome:), but I just saw a photo from Chris Colfer's new film, Struck by Lightning, in the new issue of Entertainment Weekly. It's always odd seeing him dressed like a typical teenage guy, as opposed to wearing some of the **** he does on Glee.

Not surprised. It was up against a lot of movies that have A-listers in them and didnt even open in a lot of theatres it seemed. I would would pick an actual movie over a concert movie. And maybe people believed Sue about this sucking and didnt bother to see for themselves. But it already made back half of its budget so its a win sitaution for FOX anyway.

Agreed. I miss my Brittana moments where they are just having fun in the background and dancing together.
And let us not remember in the middle of the season Brit said that she really liked Artie. She didnt break up with him because she didnt have feelings for him anymore. Because of what he did to her and she obviously has forgiven him.

But im interested to see if they will do this cheerios thing right. Santana/Brittany didnt quit the Cheerios because they didnt enjoy being Cheerios, they left because Finn convinced them and because of Sues ultimatum. It would make perfect sense for them to rejoin under the right circumstances.

Then again, it IS Glee.
She's already doing it. In whatever position it is that's she's running for, she's proposing that they cut all arts programs in the state. So instead of going after just the glee club, she's going after all glee clubs.

It really annoys me that they "forgot" that Sue was running on a platform of lower health care costs and is now running on an anti-arts platform and trying to destroy all glee clubs on a national level.
WTF was the point of Jean's death? None?
But then they also forgot that Quinn and Puck had a baby, that Puck still had feelings for Quinn and possibly vice versa, that Rachel decided to be more of a team player, that Puck stopped being a bully, that Finn was done with Quinn, that Quinn learned popularity wasn't everything, that Carole exists, that the Warblers don't perform off-campus, and that New Directions and Vocal Adrenaline were in the same region one year and different regions the next, and they seem to have no idea how far apart Lima and Westerville are.
John Locke
08-15-2011, 10:11 PM
If it helps E Online is saying that Quinn and Puck will have a remember we had a baby talk soon which could clear up any feelings between each other. And I don't think Puck's been a bully this season and Kurt conviced the Warblers to sing off campus.
Primal Slayer
08-15-2011, 10:13 PM
Puck has barely bullied anyone in season2. And I was fine with them not bringing up the baby that much since they would try to get back to their normal lives and thinking about beth may be to painful for them. But considering thats a storyline this season people should be happy now.
Sawyer
08-15-2011, 10:16 PM
Yeah, considering that the woman that adopted their baby is now teaching at their school, I can't really see them not discussing it.

Puck hasn't been a bully since season 1. The only person he goes after is Jacob, and he barely counts as a human being. For the most part, Puck just wants to maintain his "bad boy" image.

Ausiello spoilers:
Question: Just wondering if you had any info about Kurt and Blaine on this season’s Glee. I hear they’re not breaking up, but I’d like to know what they are up to. —Allie
Ausiello: Kurt spends a decent portion of the season premiere urging his teenage dream to transfer to McKinley. Given Darren Criss’ new series regular status, I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before Blaine gives into the pressure.
Question: Do you have any hints on what’s to come on the new season of Glee, especially for Santana? —Ghislaine
Ausiello: Santana is made captain of the Cheerios, but she’s a little bent out of shape when Sue informs her that she’s got a co-captain — and that person’s not too keen on sharing either.
Question: Is Tina a senior on Glee? I’m reading conflicting reports. —Allison
Ausiello: According to Tina’s portrayer Jenna Ushkowitz, she’s a junior. Her boyfriend Mike Chang, however, is a senior — and that could cause some problems for the couple. “I’m definitely excited to see a little bit of conflict,” says Ushkowitz. “I’m excited to see how they deal with that.”
I honestly think they went "eenie meenie" when they decided who was a senior and who was a junior.
Sawyer
08-16-2011, 08:31 PM
Seems like it.
Primal Slayer
08-16-2011, 08:43 PM
So Tina so far got the only meenie? lol. Everyone else thinks they are seniors. Hopefully that will change.
But glad to see that Santana is captain...well co-capt. I guess Sue will just make Becky an honary capt. Or it would be somewhat enjoyable for those two to go at it since Becky isnt as sweet as she seems.
Schlosser85

I can't buy Kurt as being the same age as Finn or Rachel.
Primal Slayer
08-16-2011, 09:25 PM
I cant buy Rachel being the same age as Finn. In my ideal Glee world, Puck/Finn/Mike/Quinn would the only ones graduating. Everyone else seems younger than they do. Or well I could add Rachel to just so we have the two leads gone and season4 would be more even in terms of solos and lead singers.
Sawyer
08-16-2011, 09:30 PM
I would've preferred Mike to not be a senior this year, either. I could easily see Mike and Matt in season one being freshman players following the lead of their older teammates (Puck and Finn).

08-17-2011, 01:08 AM
isn't Hathaway supposed to be Kurt's lesbian aunt?
Sawyer
08-17-2011, 01:20 AM
The whole story is she went on Jimmy Kimmel, somehow the subject of Glee came up and she said she was a huge fan and that she'd love to be on Glee. She had even invented the character she would play (Kurt's lesbian aunt) if she ever got the opportunity to be on the show. The media took this and ran with it, it made it's way to RIB and their response was essentially "Yeah, maybe... whatever" and everyone took that as a definitive yes. This was, I would say, about a year ago.
I don't think it's going to happen, though.
Aesop Rocks
08-17-2011, 01:22 AM

Prison Mike
08-17-2011, 12:40 PM
I wonder how they will have the leads stay on the show after graduation? They better not have Finn or Kurt stay on as the music teacher assistant. That would be ridiculous. Rachel is better than just staying in Ohio. I think they should just let those kids move on and focus on Santana, Mercedes, Tina, Artie, etc.

I think they should just let those kids move on and focus on Santana, Mercedes, Tina, Artie, etc.
The rumored spin off was supposed to focus on Finn, Rachel, Kurt, and Santana.
I think if the spin-off does happen, they should kind of hold off on Santana's coming out until the spin-off.
Specter313

The whole story is she went on Jimmy Kimmel, somehow the subject of Glee came up and she said she was a huge fan and that she'd love to be on Glee. She had even invented the character she would play (Kurt's lesbian aunt) if she ever got the opportunity to be on the show. The media took this and ran with it, it made it's way to RIB and their response was essentially "Yeah, maybe... whatever" and everyone took that as a definitive yes. This was, I would say, about a year ago.
I don't think it's going to happen, though.
But after all that, Hathaway actually met with Murphy at the last Golden Globes, and they supposedly worked something out there.

Puck, Mike, and Matt volunteered after Kurt helped the football team win its first game through the power of dance. All of the kids recruited Sam. Puck recruited Lauren.

That awesome friendship can't be as impactful as a storyline as them being lesbian and bisexual though. That just no offenses makes Brittany and Santana stereotypical characters that are IMO boring. JustABill

It especially hurt Santana though, because Quinn was already filling that *****y cheerleader role. It's just made her extremely redundant.

Finn and Rachel are heinously self-absorbed. I kind of hope the rest of the Glee club really stresses the fact that they could give two ****s about them as a couple this season.
True that. But through most of Season 2, especially the back half, I had more sympathy for Rachel than Finn. Possible minority opinion, but I've always seen Rachel as a good person to the extent that her relentlessly self-absorbed nature allows her to be. Season 2 had Finn devolve from the dim-bulb but basically good-hearted guy he started as in Season 1 into a straight-up arrogant hypocritical ******bag half the time who's more worried about making quarterback than his mom's boyfriend being in a coma or his soon-to-be stepbrother getting assaulted in the hallways, and steals his teammate's girlfriend but goes into fits of righteous outrage when someone cheats on him.
I really want to see more competition performances that aren't completely monopolized by Finchel. Sure, Rachel's got a powerhouse voice, but she's not the only one who can sing. Kurt, Mercedes, Santana, and Tina are all worthy of leading a number.
The only moment where I wanted to applaud Jesse St. James (aside from his rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody) was when he rightfully pointed out that most of New Directions are better singers than Finn. It was like "yes! finally someone states the obvious!".

Remember back in January when Anne Hathaway (http://people.zap2it.com/p/anne-hathaway/205765) met "Glee" (http://tvlistings.zap2it.com/tv/glee/EP01141389) co-creator Ryan Murphy at the Golden Globes, and she was going to guest-star on the show, and it was all going to happen within a few weeks of that?
Yeah -- it hasn't happened. But Hathaway hopes it still does.
"I'm planning on it. I don't know if they're planning on it," Hathaway tells (http://www.buzzsugar.com/Anne-Hathaway-Video-Interview-About-Glee-Matt-Damon-18806490) PopSugar.
In the interview, the "One Day" star recounts the events of her Golden Globes meeting with Murphy, saying that she told Murphy she was a "Glee" fan when she passed by his table. He then said she should guest on the show, she said yes, and by the end of the night Murphy was telling reporters it was a done deal (http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/01/glee-books-anne-hathaway-at-the-golden-globes.html).
"He went back to the press room and said, 'Anne Hathaway is going to be on the show,' and that became like a news event," she says. "And I never heard from him again [laughs]. Ryan Murphy, I'm calling you out: I want to be on 'Glee.' I've got my songs picked out."
Will Murphy relax his no-stunt-casting edict (http://blog.zap2it.com/frominsidethebox/2011/06/glee-season-3-no-special-guest-stars-says-ryan-murphy.html) for Hathaway this season? Do you think he should?

See who comes out as a leader, who sides with who, everything like that.
I could honestly see Noah being a leader, he's more a man than Finn or Will will ever be. I could also see Santana being a leader too. Or Quinn.
Hell, I could see Santana and Brittany running off to survive on their own, too. Which would actually be something really, really, really interesting to see.

Will the TWD characters still be there? Because I'm fairly sure Quinn would throw herself on Shane's d*** the second she laid eyes on him. Before inevitable cheating on him with either Finn or Puck.

Oh yeah for sure they'd be there without a doubt. Mental nut-cases like Shane and Quinn would be a match made Heaven.

I'd like to see Carl shoot Finn in the head. :o:up:

As bad as it is to say, Finn would most likely be that person too dumb to die.

I can definitely see Puck and Santana being the survivalists of the group.
I kind of see Sue becoming the leader of some quasi-military survivalist stronghold in some abandoned city somewhere like Tina Turner in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.
I see Beiste and Zizes being the tough-as-nails women who take out dozens of zombies and then let the rest close in before pulling the pins on the grenade strapped to their bodies.

That's perfect!, ESPECIALLY Sue's part!

And yea, Finn would probably outlast everyone through sheer dumb luck.

Rachel would be the first one down. I'd bet on that.
Well.... maybe, except Artie. :o

What about Kurt? Sure, he seems delicate, but he's pretty feisty when he has to be.
I could see him being a surprise hardass when faced with a zombie apocalypse.

Poor Artie wouldn't have a chance. Unless Beiste slings him over her shoulder and carries him to safety while blowing away every zombie in their path in total BAMF fashion.
Ha, Santana would probably break Rachel's kneecaps to buy herself some time.

Beiste would own in a zombie apocalypse.

I see Kurt being a survivor, but no one HUGE or anything like that. Blaine too. Only real people I literally saw dying would probably be Tina, Will, and probably Quinn.
Quinn would mostly likely die due to a human more than a zombie.

Actually, I see Beiste being the leader, I really do. Puck second in charge.
