To me Venom from SM3 is too weak looking in my view .

Yeah its good. Do you know how he did the mouth?
I seem to remember he used individual prop teeth made from acrilic then painted them accordingly also, I member he airbrushed the back of the mouth to make it look more 3D.
Might check my sources again as i seem to remember Orlando making a symbiote costume not venom. but there is a guy who always sells a spiderman mask with latex webbing a urethane frames on ebay, At the time of SM3 i seem to member him making this costume now.

Yeah I have teeth and such, but I meant more of like the framework. How does the jaw move? I mean the mask smiles, and it looks like it opens too.

Hi all new to the board. I've been wanting a costume for a while and this year it is my early xmas gift to myself. A few years back I spoke with someone about buying a suit but I can't remember the website or who it was. So here is what I'm looking for: I would like a kit that includes the suit, the spiders, webbing, and possibly shoes and/or options on the fore-mentioned though I'm not worried about the shoes too much. If that isn't possible can I be pointed in the right direction please. I am looking to put the suit together myself as I think that is the fun of it. Of course I am sure I will need advice from a pro so if you are friendly and have a kit like I mentioned please let me know. Oh yeah I'm hoping to have it done before Halloween, is that enough time to put it together? Thank you all for the help and I'm looking forward to hearing form you.

you can buy a kit from spideyplanet.com or you can talk to people around here and make the costume from scratch. either way they're both fun Thanks I sent off an email However I noticed that that spideyplanet indicated that it took $20k to get their costume right. That concerns me as I'm not looking to take out a 2nd mortgage to have a suit. Hopefully building it myself will help the cost. I've looked over a few pages and see that Spidey4fun does suits which are really great quality. BTW Hello Spidey4fun, you have an amazing collection of suits. I believe I spoke with you a long time ago. Can you pm me some info on a kit. I really don't want to read 770 pages so can you or anyone recommend a few others suit makers so I can compare prints/work. I'm not sure who has the prints, spiders, frames, or webbing. Thanks in advance for the help.:D

How tall are you? You look so compact ;)
I dont think you need a full face mask... One it must be death inside it. two, all you can see is your jaw, SO: Why not just get a jaw to glue on so you can atleast talk... eat, breathe...
check out: http://www.boneyardfx.com/fxfaces.htm
"Zombie wormy" looks like it would do the trick...
Email him and let him know you just need a jaw and Im sure he can give you a deal etc. Hes usually a great guy to deal with and will help you out.
Good luck.

Well I've spoken with a couple of guys. Ernie was really friendly and it seems like he's the only one willing to help a newbie as nobody else would even answer my questions. I didn't realize that the webbing alone was nearly $600 or that these finished suits were going for $4000. OUCH What is the deal with the webbing? It seems like the webbing has become coveted. I used to see it on ebay for a reasonable amount but now it seems like it's super $$$. Why would it be only sold attached to a suit? I would say a spideyplanet kit would be great but then I was informed the colors aren't as good as the digital prints on ebay. I may just have to skip the webbing and get something off ebay. Maybe I'm way off base but it seems the general attitude of helping people make a suit has changed. Very disappointing.

Thanks for the info on that web page he has some cool work. I am 5’10 but my friend was in the costume and he is shorter than me I fill it a lot better. I agree with you as far as the zombie app goes I just did not have time to make a jaw piece for the con I was at I am making 1 now but I am doing 1 that covers the nose and jaw and it will be foam latex that way it will still be able 2 talk breath eat and drink. Also this costume was just a trial I want 2 do a full line of marvel zombies and since me and mike re did our prints I figured that cutting this 1 up would be a good start. All things considered I am pretty happy with the way it pulled together the zombie app is the only thing I did not like. But live and learn as we all know on this board everything is trial and error and know I know what 2 tweak for the next 1 and please if any 1 has any ideas on how 2 make it work better or any views on what it should look like I would love 2 hear it I am always looking 2 improve things with the help of friends

From the looks of that, I would assume you got that from Ernie. Which is basically bias. Ernie has his little 'trust' group, which includes the seller of that print on ebay. They all back each other up with no real experience of others work. I can assure you Schuurke's [spideyplanet] has a better print. I've worked with his suits twice, and have yet to see Ernie get his hands on one. Comparing Schuurke's print, to the 'ebay print's' pictures I've seen, let alone the word of others.. there's no competition. Schuurke's quality is much higher.
Again, the low price you saw on ebay for those webs was probably because the quality is not there. Also, the lower price may have been because they payed next to nothing to make a mold and produce the webs. Webs are generally sold only on a suit because of re-casters. Gluing the webs on a suit takes more time and practice to get right, than sewing the suit. That's why the suits with webs are so high priced.

I'm not sure what web of conflict (pardon the pun) I stepped into but this all seems really strange looking in from the outside. I can only go by what I've seen so far and Ernie and jesterfx are the only ones that has stepped up to answer any questions. BUt now I understand why my questions weren't answered.
As for me I'm just a guy wanting to make a good looking realistic suit for his nephews birthday and not get raked over the coals. I'm not looking to recast any webs or even resell the costume when I'm done but instead place it on a mannequin. I wouldn't know the first thing about recasting anyways. Can you give me a few more details on what makes one suit a better print? Do you have a photo I can compare of the prints because basically now I feel like I'm in some he said she said match.
As for the recasting of the webs, I assume people have ordered the webbing and made a mold and then created their own. I don't really see the problem with that as long as they aren't trying to make a bunch of money off somebody else's work but then again that applies to the person selling webbing for a costume that in reality belongs to Marvel. Again this used to be a place where people were here to help each other.
I thought the idea here was to help people have a descent spidey suit because Marvel doesnt offer it. Not make money off those desires. After all that truly is Marvel's job. I really hope that this has not become a cash cow for people. That's not very spidey like. NO disrespect to anyone just my opinion.

okspider,
i totally understand what you are saying man, i'm in your boat as well. try to see it from the other side though. you can tell everyone you won't recast them, but basically it is just your word keeping you from doing that. nobody here knows for sure that you won't recast them and then turn around and sell them for a profit. so, i can understand why others are leery of letting their work get ripped off. i know it took many of these guys lots of time, effort, and money to get what they have. they are afraid (rightfully so) of someone just leeching off of their work.

I've since spoken with Brad and come to understand the whole situation. It is a complete contradiction to sell parts for a Spiderman suit and rip somebody off that spent a couple grand for their molds. I think a recast for yourself would be ok but using somebody else's work to make you money is stealing and completely unethical. I guess once it's been done though it is too late. Out of curiosity what is the general feeling of the people putting together other people's suits and then selling it. I've seen a few on ebay like that. I've almost made my mind up on what I am getting. Just waiting on a few more opinions. The wife has had to give approval to spend this much money as I didn't think it would cost this much and I gotta have "more cowbell" Sorry meant eurethane webbing. ;-) So anyone that I've spoken with I thanks for your input and thanks for allowing a guy like me the opportunity to make a suit like this. I hope you guys will be as helpful when I get the suit I order because I know I'll have ???? Sadly I don't think I'll make halloween but hopefully the nephew's b-day.

Yeah OUCH part of the reason why suits with Urethane webbing cost so much as you could see is because of the time and effort it takes to apply it onto the suit which takes days weeks and months plus you have to buy a really good glue that will stick well with Urethane if not you will get a messy suit and it will all go to waste. So it's really not the suits that cost that much your practically paying for the laber.

Believe me you will not find any cheaper Urethane for less than 300 Dollars anywhere unless someone decides to make you a deal. Although there are 2 more ways but they are less perstique: 1.) you could use Acrylic Paint to go over the weblines like the ones that Spidertim.com sells his suits with Acrylic Paint on the weblines. 2.) You could buy these really cheap Mettalic Markers that are really well to use to go over the printed webbing lines as well as the Spiders.... you could buy these markers at a office depot or office max for a pack of 5 for $10.00.
By the way people I will show you guys a demonstration on what I did with my spiders on my suits that I bought from Brad) You guys will be amazed at how the colors actually came out on the Spiders. I will be posting some photos of my Black Symbiote Spidey4Fun Suit and my Red/Blue Spidey4Fun Suit within the next week or 2 the latest.

There is a way to make accurate spiderman webbing for next to nothing too.
it will take these tings though...
Time
Dedication
A spiderman pattern.
A steady hand
And some pre-knowledge and confidence.
I estimate it to cost around $100 + and a months work.
At the end of it you should have a webbing mold which you could cast from. The webs obviously won't look as good as cnc machined webs. but they're the next big step.
In regards to the pattern, A direct print is the best looking as fourth providing it matches the fabric/printer/methods used from the film. There are many direct digital printers out there that use different inks/ printers thus giving different varying results.
As for Yuris print it is not so much the qaulity of the farbcis and printers used but the pattern itself. It is not one of the high high quality spiderman patterns floating in this forum. I think yuris print is pretty much comparable to the direct print method as his colours are bold and stand out which is all you really want in this game.
There are some pattern CD patterns floating around ebay with the pattern on it, I have also come across a free pattern (i wonder how that came about guys?hmmm) on another forum, you might wana check my post as i haven't the link for it anymore.
If you wanna build webbing this is the first step to it. Please im if your interested in this method.

Thanks for the info spidey2001, I had a cd with the patterns laying around somewhere. Hopeful I can find it. I bought it a few years back when I first wanted to get a suit. I do have a friend that runs some type of cnc machine. I can check with him about making the mold. I think it would probably be free or just the cost of the metal.
I'm leaning toward yuri but what is the difference between a high quality print and a direct print?

Look, go with what ever you appreciate first. There is though.. a major difference in methods and looks that's why... For the many costumes produced for spiderman 3 the producers got away with using a very easy to make (compared to silk screening) digital prints, something they stemmed away from using before due to quality issues. This time round the technology was available and saved them half the budget of the film which i guess they spent on giving Tobey maguire dancing lessons he required towards the end of the 3rd film :S
There are a few people dealing with these prints, but no one so far has nailed it in terms of.
Erm. Yuri's pattern is very old lets say in terms of what the costume makers on this forum are now using... I say good on to yuri for sticking by his artwork and not changing.
BTW.. think seriously about milling you own webs, Machineing them alone takes a heck of lot of clever engerneering. Let alone the CAD work. involved.

Hey guys... im just curious to see who is selling this suit on Ebay $600 as a starting bid but can also purchase the suit for $600 without the bidding for a Spiderman 2 or 3 Replica suit wondering if the suit if fully sewn and who is selling it...
SPIDERMAN 3 MOVIE COSTUME REPLICA - eBay (item 160289218522 end time Oct-12-08 (http://cgi.ebay.com/SPIDERMAN-3-MOVIE-COSTUME-REPLICA_W0QQitemZ160289218522QQcmdZViewItem?hash=i tem160289218522&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C 240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14)
if you guys find out let me know thanks guys that would help alot. By the way im also wondering if these kind of suits are coming from SpideyPlanet.com because I know that seller sells Spiders Webbing Prints and you have to put it yourself but if you have them put it for you I believe the price comes out to 1500-2000 price range but for $600 on Ebay?? :wow:

- urethane chest and back spiders...
and its cheaper than just the plain suit from all the sellers on here... what in the world...

Just wanted to let everyone know I went ahead and chose the shuurke's suit. There were several issues that made me chose that one. Namely of all the costume's, it looked exactly what I was loking for. Also it was a kit that including webbing and everything else. The eurethane webbing was a must for me. Don't get me wrong, the printed web suits look really great especially spidey4funs and the allaboutme print. I just don't want my nephew or any other kids to have any doubt that it's spidey when they meet him. Also I couldn't find anyone willing to sell the webs for a descent price and/or they wouldn't answer any messages I sent them. Furthermore spidey4fun even recommended I get a shuurke's suit when he in fact he sells his own. So that tells me he's not just trying to make a quick buck, otherwise he could have made up some reason to buy his.
My suggestion to anyone looking for a suit would be 1 of 3 choices. 1. Make it yourself from a print. (which I may do after this suit). 2. If you want one already printed I would suggest spidey4fun for previously stated reasons. The allaboutme prints on ebay are nice and a little cheaper but what good is cheaper when the seller won't answer any questions in the first place. 3. If you have the cash and don't mind the work get the shuurke's kit. If you're looking for one that is already made......good luck. You have more $$$ than I do. Thanks to everybody for helping me chose though and especially to spidey4fun and spidermanc for giving me advice about the construction of the different suits. I really appreciate it. I'm waiting on it and will try putting it together before halloween. From what I hear though that won't happen. I'm crossing my fingers. I'll be posting pictures here as I come along. Now to lose the gut.......

I wouldnt bid on that suit. I've seen the same suit with the same description up for sale under different names.
I sent the seller some questions...and never got any answers. When the seller said "it can be made any size, just tell me!" Then wouldn't answer my other questions...that makes me think they just want to get a bid and dont really have a suit.
I could be wrong...but it's too good to be true.

I am working on creating a pattern for my own suit based on the patterns that others have used here. I need to know the measurement the printed suit needs to be from the top of the head to the toes. I am 5'9" tall. I want the suit to fit snug but not too tight.
If there are any other measurements I might need I wouldn't mind getting those too.

Yeah you could tell the total differences in your old colors compare to your newer ones the older colors on your suit look alittle more faded like a fadded red and a light blue the Printing of the webbing looked less detailed compare to the way you have it now you dont even have to really have Urethane Webbing because the Printing is so detailed that it already looks like if your wearing it on the suit.. im also pretty sure when you have someone wearing one of your newer suits the colors wont fade as much as before even when the Lycra Streches...Fett also has really good colors but I think his colors were alittle too bright on certian photos or maybe it was the cammera flash because when photos are taken at a darker enviroment the colors come out better. Ollie also had the right colors I would say that his suits were one of the Best Spiderman Replica suits ever. He had the right colors right Frames and Lenses right webbing etc.. too bad he's not around anymore.

1) what is the best method for attaching it; should I surge it or maybe hand sew?
2) how much of a seam should I have from the bottom of the arm holes to the start of the zipper?
3) should the zipper be zipped up or unzipped when i attach it?

Do you have a sewing machine?
Sew a single stitch before you overlock or double stitch, to make sure you got it on the mark.
2) i think you need the maximum amount of length SO starting from the top of the arm pit right down to the belts
3) this depends on what kind of zip you have. Do you have a zipper foot, You might need to buy a special attachment for your machine. Concealed or normal.
Normally you would sew one half unopened then unzipping it to get it under the machines foot. This sometime proving difficult as the costume is almost fully constructed at this stage depending on how you've built it.

Any tall spidey fans looking for a print. My printer stuffed up and printed a large suit print. Would suit someone 6'1" to 6'4". Grey webbing and printed spiders.
Email me if you're interested.

Here's me in my suit.
http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f286/gonnagetsome/IMG_0713.jpg
What do you think?
It's mostly comic book style with movie style chest and back spiders. It has removable gloves and mask so I can still eat and such.
The lady who helped me make it (she came up with a pattern and did all the sewing based on my ideas) made it a little too big I think. So I'm thinking of upgrading to a suit based on the patterns that most of you have used. But I need some help with the measurements. If anyone can help me, shoot me a message or reply on this board. Thanks.

Very Cool!! If your friend has the pattern I'd say just shrink it 5% apart from the parts that fit... like the hands... and other parts that fit OK.

SO i was reading through a costume book and the spidey suit popped up... I thought this was interesting:
-Red and blue 4 way stretch millaskin bodysuit made of 16 peices
Containing over 75 computerized silkscreen prints.
-Laser cut foam web is glued onto the suit
What does it mean when it says made of 16 peices... I know you sew them together but 16 seems like alot more than most patterns I have seen. Is it that they really did print blue on blue millaskin and red on red millaskin and then sew them together? I heard that was no because you would see the seams, but wouldn't the webs cover that?
Has anyone tried to laser cut the webs out?

They are made of a silver finished vinyl mesh material. It does look nice but it's a little hard to see out of sometimes.
The frames and spiders are made of foam rubber.
I'll post more pictures as soon as I can find or take some that are decent.

The frame are foam rubber, and the inner (white) part is splatter screen guard? Or not? That's what I made mine out of. The cheap way. lol
Good job btw, I made mine a little comic-booky as well.

Well, no. The inner (white/silver) part is from a sheet of vinyl like they use for billboards but it's full of holes to make it mesh and has a silver finish.

That's the same as I used on my Schuurke's suit. ( Which is now sold by the way.)
He has a factory special make all his paint. (webs, spiders and frames)
He uses the same color paint on his frames and front spider. This is just like how the third movie suit is done, the front spider color matches the frames.

It seems like that most of his webbing, and chest spiders match the same color...It looks fasinating... The Spider looks like one of Brads Spiders. But the color is what I like most about it. I wonder what color it is because thats the correct color to use for the chest spider on the suit. I tried using some mettalic markers on one of my spiders that I purchased from Brad recently the color came out great but it's alittle too silverish. I want to see if I could find a darker paint or marker that would work well. like in this photo.

LOL. Where to begin...
The suit's are not 'hard'.. they just take practice, problem solving, effort, and a lot of time. If I had to single out the hardest thing though, I would have to say sewing the hands was very challenging. Specially because he has the narrow strips sewn in-between the fingers, instead of just sewing the back of the hand to the front hand. But this is most movie accurate, and if done right, looks amazing.
Take everything slow and make sure you know what you're doing first.

I know this is not a movie thread and I know that most of you guys already know this but for those that dont know and since we are all big fans of Spiderman it seems that Sam Rami (Director) and Tobey Maguire (Actor) have already been choosen for the next 2 movies of Spiderman 4 and 5. Although No news has been confirmed for Kirsten Dunst as MJ although earlier records said that she would return if Sam and Tobey returned. The movies might be filmed back to back. Production for Spiderman 4 is March 2010 and is Expected to be released in theaters on May 13, 2011 (What a long wait ;( ). Not sure about 5 though maybe 6 months later if they do get filmed back to back or until they decide to release it. As most of you all know that one of the Possible Villians to be shown is the Lizard played by Dr. Curt Connors whos real name is Dylan Baker. Others say they would like to see the Vulture who could possibly be played by Ben Kingsley. I hope that these next films would be worth the wait. And I hope that Sam Rami and those that are writing the scripts can come up with 2 briliant stories to tell. ;)
Spider-Man Returns, But Will Kirsten Dunst? (http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/spidermansequels_blog.html) and Splash Page ŧ Sam Raimi Talks ‘Spider-Man’ Sequel Double-Shoot, Futures of Kir (http://splashpage.mtv.com/2008/10/16/raimi-talks-spider-man-sequel-double-shoot-futures-of-dunst-the-lizard/)

finally , yuri's costume kit arrived. i is a very good quality costume kit. especially the lyca meterial. now im start painting the web.
but i hav one question, after i apply the silver paint on the web, it looks shining but after it dry up, the color become a bit darker.
so, im wondering , how can i make the webbing like that shining ( spiderman C costume ), or it is the efect that camera flash ??

I would say that's the camera's flash. Spidey's webbing shouldn't be too shiny anyways in my opinion.

Alright, I need some help. I'm making a Venom mask, and right now I'm just making the faceshell out of clay, and then I will cast a mold of it. But I want to know what's wrong with it. It looks like Venom, but off a little... Any suggestions? (Keep in mind, its my own style, and I dont like making things EXACT.. and its a mix of comic/movie Venom)

The mask I'm making is influenced by mclean.krieger's which looks like..

Oh, and I made a Spidey mask too.. Nothing special. It was mainly to disguise me for tping houses with my friend. I also made a SAW mask, V For Vendetta Mask, and a Scarecrow-inspired mask.

Hey, this is great you've taken the "go" to go a make you own mask, let me warn you , there are various many techniques that the best sculptor's use, you will fail not not knowing the basics.
My biggest mistake from sculpting in the early days lead me forever changing my sculpt and not be happy with it( 4 months on one head). This kind of time is way way way too long and shows where i went wrong.
Head sculpts should and can be done a days if not one, So getting to my main point that the reason why was, it's all in the prep.
Starting out with proper reference materials is key, I have before used what others have created before me- because there hadn't been proper reference out there, but it's definitely worth using a source pic as this is what you wish to create, i suggest searching a blueray version of SP3 to get a high resolution picture.
Front, left top and back pictures all help, Also another key to any good sculpt is detail, but leaving this till last as i 'm sure you know.
From my eye, off the bat it looks like the shape of your venom sclupt is too flat much like a humans head, from recolection venoms mouth sticks out quite abit. like a chimps mouth.
Try obtaining a good side pic. Good luck

Oil clay is much better to sculpt with as well. I find it easy to work with and it doesn't dry out as quickly.

I found this auction on eBay for a suposedly "screen used" face shell from Spider-Man. The seller has zero feedback. This seems WAAAAYYYYY too good to be true. The pictures also seem off somehow. What do you all think?

Of course the pictures are gone now. But the first two pictures on that auction are the very same that Spideyfan27 had posted, with a few exceptions..
The first one has been flipped horizontally, and the second one used to be a 'black faceshell'.

Thanks.. I think its the eyes. They're too close together, so I'm gonna fill them in, and do them again further apart. And yeah, I'll work on the head shape a little more as well. I'm using oil clay, so I got all the time in the world. Plus my urethene rubber, and roto plastic just came in, so I got all the supplies I need.
I'll try to work on it today, and post a new picture. Thanks!

How did you make the webshooters? They look really great! I need to know because I'm going to be Spider-Carnage. It looks like you used the begins belt but I don't know exactly how you went about doing it, the begins belt for scarlet's belt looks as well, good thinking.
Also, what's the spider made out of? I'm trying to figure out what material to use for the big ben reilly spider and I don't know what'd work. Anybody have suggestions?

The wristbands look like a watch, without the actual clock part.
And could you post a picture or two of your costume? It sounds really interesting.

I don't have much together yet, I have the red and black clothes and I just finished putting webs on the red. so Now I need to make the giant Reilly spider on the front and back of the shirt and put all the cool red veins around the black parts of the costume. And make those webshooters of course. It should look like this when it's done:

except I'm thinking I won't have enough time to make a mask...so I may just try to make it look like how eddie looked at the end of SM3 when he taking the symbiote off of his head to speak.

I went to Armageddon yetersday. A local Comic and Gaming Expo. At first I thought I just go for a look see then I thought what the heck... I'll wear a black spidey top. I used an old print that I had with a not quite right spider and some chest webbing I was going to use on the good suit. The print is a little fadded and had printed webbing but was still OK for a quick once off. I only glued the chest webbing and chest spider on. Here's some pics.

Well guys I hate to do this but I am selling my Spidey4fun suit. It is in A+ condition. Always hand washed & stored in a smoke free environment. When Brad constructed it for me I decided on the hidden zipper behind the head so I could eat & drink with the costume on. It has served me well, but I must sell it to fund my TDK suit. My stats are 5'10" & 175lbs. This suit fits me perfectly with spare room if needed. More pics on request. $500 shipped anywhere in the US. Nice costume Spidey72! It would look great with 3d webbing, have you looked into that?
And Brad, you just proved my point about there being very well-made symbiote costumes!
Okay, now Spidey2001 was helping me before, but I love more imput from others as well. I re-worked the eyes to look more like the movie, and more realistic. Also, I made Venom have a bit of a lip. Tell me what you think. I may have to make the eyes more symmetrical..

Incredible sculpt SlyGuyTtjn! Huge improvement from the first try. My first spidey suit (maker was in Miami) had the urethane webbs. I'm not sure what type of glue was used, but it started to separate as I was trying the suit for the first time! When I decided to go with Brad's suit I wanted to stay away from the 3-d webbs because I felt it would be a huge headache if they ever came off. I don't really want to sell it, but I also need the money to construct the Batman suit. My wife won't let me add anymore to my CC..lol

Yeah the silver spiders are too silvery on both.. No offense, but why did you do that? I'm sure the spiders looks great without it, because Brad seems to know what he's doing.

zentai suits are usually cheap knock-offs, but some buy them, and then modify them (ex. adding better lenses, and 3d webbing) but it's totally up to you. Personally, if you want quality with a low price, see what Spider4Fun has. I heard he's not too expensive, and his stuff is really good.

If i where you I would redo the teeth. They look to bulky and nonthreatening. The teeth you made are overall the same size. As teeth get farther back they usually very in size and generally get smaller. Lets look at this:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v48/licemasta/Net%20Images/venom-side-face.jpg
To achieve this your best bet would be to carve the teeth separately and then attach them to the head piece. Attach them into the gums, which brings me to the next point, your teeth are coming out of the lips. You might want to show the gums to have it more beleivable.
I dont know what your plan is with this head, but so far thats all I got. Good luck.

Yeah, thank you, I know exactly what you mean.. Well the actual purpose of this is to use is as a face shell for my venom mask. So the detail only matters in the mouth and eyes. Also, I wanna get used to casting molds, so I figure I'd first try with this faceshell, because it's JUST a faceshell, not some huge master piece. You know?
As for the teeth, I've debated whether or not to shrink 'em. I mean, they do get smaller as they go to the side, but they're still fairly large, you're right. The purpose of the face shell is also for the jaw to move too. So I want Venom to be like "grinning evily" and then growling.. And I dont know if the teeth would align up like that if they were smaller. For example, these teeth are fairly bigger too.. (So it appears)

I was gonna cast it tomorrow, so I would have to hussle in a day to change the teeth.. but I think I might.

Okay so then if its a face shield, the teeth are the most important part. That's the only thing that will show from this sculpt.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v48/licemasta/Net%20Images/toof1.jpg
I dont think you should rush it just because you are getting impatient. It will be worth it in the end to get it as close as possible to being correct than just having it done because you got antsy.
You are so close, you have done a great job to this point. Looking forward to seeing it!

How many zippers do you have? I use 1 long one. It starts under 1 arm, goes down the side... under the belt at the back of the suit then up the other side. I guess it doesnt matter how many zippers you use.. I've seen 1, 2 and 3. The movie suit used 3. 1 for each side and 1 under the belt.

Brad isn't the movie suit a 4 piece suit: both boots come off, then you have the mask but that doesn't have a zipper because it just slips on as well as the boots or shoes, then you have the chest part of the suit but in what locations would the 3 zippers be located on the movie suit.

there are quite a few versions of the "movie suit" some versions the head removed, others it was a solid suit. Hence why in close up shots the body neck and head magically turned into a complete garment.

so many question ???????
for glueing the webbing, can i use the elephant brand super glue ? the glue is fast dry super glue, it drys up in just count of 3 ( just few seconds )
but after it dry, the webbing become hard, even the fabric also become hard. did i used the right glue ???

I've not used that brand of glue so I cant give any advise hear. When I apply glue I use a VERY fine coat of Loctite Super Glue. It doesnt seem to crack when stretched but that's probably due to the fact I use very little when gluing webbing.

my mum sew the zipper last nite, she stretched the fabric to sew up the zipper according to the size = 28cm to the side and 35cm below the belt,
is it the right way ?? for sew up the zipper , is it neccesary to strech the fabric to sew the zipper , or just sew up only ??

I dont stetch the sides but do occassionally stretch the suit at the belt depending on how big the wearer is. If you stretch the sides it gets a puffy look.
