Best Action Sequence in GL?

Normally these threads are done for CB movies either by me or someone else, as everyone was a bit dissapointed in the action in the movie I was curious to know which action sequence/s people DID enjoy in the movie, so vote away peeps. I personally would say Hal vs Parallax, it wasnt as epic as it should have been, but I found it the most enjoyable sequence.

EDIT:Misses Hal saving the helicopter out, will get that fixed soon.

I loved watching Sinestro and Kilowog training Jordan, albeit briefly, on Oa. It was kind of a fanboy dream come true. Any possible sequel needs more of that!

I'll be honest, I didnt think Hal vs Parallax would get this many votes as I remember people being a bit dissapointed by it in the cinema, me included, but for some reason, watching the extended edition makes this scene a lot better, I dont know what it is, maybe I just care about Hal more because of the extra scene's with him.

The training sequence, all the way. It was Green Lantern's powers to it's max potential. There should have been more of that. More of Hal messing with the ring on his own, exploring the potencial of creating anything with his mind.
That's where I think the helicopter scene worked, because it reflected Hal's personality, at least a little bit.
They didn't explore that aspect that much.

^Yeah I do wish they would have shown a scene of him practicing on earth on his own, that scene were he re-visits were he found Abin Sur just before the Hector fight would have been perfect.

I still prefer the Parallax fight over the training sequence as the that sequence didnt go far enough for me, he basically quits after Sinestro beats him so he gives up a little easily for me.

For me I think the action scenes dealing with Hal and his ring were all on the same level. They were all good but nothing spectacular or groundbreaking, imo.

To be honest, I still like the action scenes alot. Well most of them. I don't care for the jet fighters vs sabers fight at all.

Same here, I was comtemplating not putting the jet fight in as it was more to show Hal's fear rather than action sequence, but seeing as there was action in it I though what the hell.

It really doesnt compare to the other action scene's in the movie though, especially the final fight, which contains one of the few moments in the film were the hair stands up on the back of my neck when Hal recite's the oath while fending off Parallax.
