Another cool thing i noticed: Right towards the end when the team is shown in that 360 degree shot? The Hulk roars, and that's totally Ruffalo's face. Awesome! :word:

you are correct and I am not asking for the whole movie to be shown...however
we had the teaser at the end of Cap, we had the trailer, we had the Super Bowl trailer and now trailer 2 and yet this trailer really just showed us the Leviathan.

think of a movie like a christmas or birthday present...and trailers are chances to peel back the wrapping without opening the present. Each peel back should reveal something new.

Really liked the trailer. What I think did it for me was the use of more epic trailer-type music, rather than the rock-type music they have used previously.

It's not about Thor getting "shafted" hell I'd sacrifice some of his trailer screentime just for a few power displays, I just want to get a feel of how powerful he's going to be portrayed in this film.

I'm not worried about his character portrayal or interactions with the rest of the cast because I'm sure Hemsworth and Joss NAILED that aspect.

Some people just latch onto their movie franchises like sports teams, god knows why. Especially the bat films as they're darker and more gothic than most blockbusters.

I think the CGI looks much better than that. Also, in terms of story they gave hints, with Fury and Loki's exchange, I liked that Fury basically told him we're $#!tting our pants, it's not something you'd expect from a hero in a typical action movie, much less a trailer. Also plenty of lines about the friction within the team. I trust Joss Whedon to give us a good story and let every character have their time to shine, he's done it on Buffy, Angel and Firefly. Plenty of episodes show most of the main characters having their "hero moment" in the same 45 minute episode. He knows how to work with a big cast.

A couple of drawbacks .... I dunno, I love Scarjo but she's just so underwhelming and meager to me. I'm mixed about the Hulk all the sudden too. I do not like the sound effect for his voice, would've preferred the screams as heard in TIH. There was also something off-putting about his head shot when they're in their circle down on the street. However, yet clip of him catching Iron Man mid-air is pure win

BTW is that Thor getting blown back from laying the hammer down on Cap's shield? I'm surprised even vibranium would be sturdy enough to send him exploding back like that.

God I can't wait to see the inter-fighting. That scrum in the woods has the making of an epic comic royale rumble. Thor seriously looks even more like a God next to all these other heroes.

Agreed. The ultimate "hero" moment like it was torn directly from the comics. I know it was partially in the last trailer and not a "new" shot but seeing it with the Hulk roaring shot up front made it feel complete and awesome for me.

Gotta agree with others on the Hulk catching Iron Man and Leviathan reveal shots. Extremely epic. I'm an absolute Spider-man nut but I have to honestly say I'm way more psyched for this movie at the moment.

Between this, Spidey, and Batman, it will be a summer where comics completely dominate the box office. :)
