Along with the look and characterizations of the characters, I feel the score is very important.
So, let's talk about what the score should be and who should compose it.

Since Michael Bay is on board, its probably gonna be Steve Jablonsky.
Cassandra Cain

I'd rather the new movie be based completely on score and not on any of today's popular music/artists. That'll get really old REALLY fast, plus it kind of cheapens the movie. Just my opinion. It gives for a more serious tone of the plot as well, if the film is going in that direction.

I actually feel there should be some rock/hip hop acts on the thing. Mostly because of who the characters are. They're teenagers, and it should fit with the atmosphere. There should be a score, but also music inspired by the film.
I would be surprised if we didn't get an "Inspired By" CD, but I hope they'd actually give a score a legitimate release, unlike the other Turtle movies.

Let Basement Jaxx do a hip-hop-influenced score like they did for Attack the Block. Or maybe RZA, something like his Afro Samurai score.
Something different than the normal orchestral score to set it apart stylistically. Besides, they're pop culture-savvy teenagers from New York. They deserve something more "hip" than that.

I really Loved the Score of the Original Especaially Shedders Suite
But as far as Composers go I really dig CinematicESP's Suggestion of RZA...id love to see his Mixture of Hip Hop/New York and Japanese Influences
But id really like to see James Newton Howard
