haha, im sorry guys, but i cant help but laugh when these bailey manips are posted...i know manips are hard to do, and i dont know if its just the fact that bailey doesnt look anything like supes in real life (which i believe to be true), or if the manips are just poorly done....but he really looks goofy and stupid in all of those manips...the ONLY manip that looks good at all is the one where he is surrounded by fire, the rest are just comedic

I'm actually embarassed to say this but i am really proud of that last manip. You guys have no idea how hard it was to create the Daily Planet and LuthorCorp buildings almost from scratch. Not so sure about how Bailey turned out in the pic, but i'm digging the hell outta Metropolis.

Might try to redo my David Lynch poster tho cos its kinda lop-sided. And cos i love the guy. :D

Um....the fact that Clark leaves Smallville and everyone else behind for Metroplis.....you only need Lex depending on the story. Did Reeve have the Star power before he did the role? Did Tobie M have star power before Spidey? You could alomost say the same for Bale, his films to date haven't been mega blockbusters. It's a matter of opinion. I think Welling could do it. The amount of times I've heard Cheaper by the Dozen reffered to as "That film with Superman in" so many times. Surely you'd think "That Steve Martin Film with all the kids" would of been the case but no, and he barely had more than 10 lines.

Alot of people will disagree with me. But most of there choices don't have "Star Power" either. Especially everyones Mr. Unknown.

Tobey had done some critically acclaimed movies before Spiderman. Cider House Rules, Wonder Boys, Ice Storm. Reeve was a big stage actor, which carries more acting cred than say, television. Not to mention he was born to wear that suit. ;)

WB wouldn't let the Smallville producers write Bruce Wayne into a cameo on Smallville because they were afraid that it might have some kind of impact on Begins.....I can kinda see where they were coming from. Now what I don't get is that WB lets the producers do anything they want with Smallville as long as it has some kind of reflection from the mythology....whether is goes hand in hand, or if they bend it a little. Back to my point, why would WB have such a hissy fit about having a cameo Bruce Wayne when there is a Bat-movie in the works, but they plan on making a Superman movie without Welling??.....I think there would be way to much confusion since the general public that knows about Smallville, equate Welling with Superman.....having someone else play Supes on the big screen when you still have Welling playing a younger version of the same character on the small screen....at the same time mind you.....would just cause people to question what medium they should follow.......a 5 season show or a big buget movie.

But yes, he's around 44, so better to play an established Supe than an up-and-coming Supe. SIGH.....

Yeah, I used to do manips. It was a lot of fun. But recently, with the flood of Welling-fem manips and Bailey after Bailey after Bailey after Bailey...I just dont feel like contributing anymore. Totally agree.

With all these men's head on women's body totally ruin the whole tread for me. I'm reposting some of manips I did earlier to remember what a FUN tread it used to be, and hope more people can do more regular manips to put the fun back to this tread.

I really don't like the design of the "S" Insignia in that picture. It should be sleeker and flow. Not mishapen. This isn't really anyone's fault, but I thought I would just voice my opinion.

I don't understand why a lot of people dislike this particular headshot - I like it and it works well with this particular manip. Also, I know it has been posted before (several times), but there are a lot of new people who might not have seen it yet. Here's hoping that Cavill still has a shot if they decide to go with a younger Supes. ;)

Nope, it wasn't me. I just played around with the colors before posting it (the original had the light blue costume used in the Reeve films). I'm not exactly sure who the original creator is.
