Wellings chin is pretty strong.. It is, but not as strong as you've got it in the manip. In the manip his chin is almost bigger than his neck, whereas it clearly isn't in the base pic you posted.

I think a lot of it comes down to angles and stuff...
In the Welling headshot his neck looks pencil thin... The Reeve base pic has the body at a strange angle.. So we're sort of looking at a bunched up neck plus a portion of shoulder... Looking back at the manip I have widened the face out a little too much.. not intentionally, but I did do it... Sorry! :)

But it's not a valid manip, if we're going for realism, because his chin isn't really that big in relation to his body.

But as far as looking good, well, it bloody well does!!

I don't know what some of you are talking about. Someone actually (apparently seriously) suggested that Welling is skinny and Cavill - is NOT?! What pics are you looking at. Did you see TW's bicep in Exile. It was freaking huge. And Cavill's latest picture with the long hair (which I like, by the way :) ) his arms are like twigs. Thanks for the comments folks.. To be honest I hated Superman blue too.. This manip came about after my other half (Starf!re) made the blue lightning manip.. And inspiration struck me :D

Superman blue sucked as a concept.. But, I have to say, it was an amazing costume...

Being an artist, as I'm sure all of you can understand, I am never fully satisfied with my work. I know I had promised to create a new poster with new actors, but I couldn't help but reconfigure the poster I had already created ( a. I think the actors look great, b. I think those pictures of them are great) I dreamt last night of having another poster that was more epic in scale, and also told slightly more of the story, to draw people in. I was inspired by the Drew Struznan Star Wars movie posters (ep.1 and 2). So I tried to manipulate the poster I had already created to mimic this style of epic movie poster. I hope you guys enjoy my update. I like it a lot better.

The only place where it's actually Reeve is at the very, very bottom of the face near the chin and the ears. The rest is Welling. Marvel, I kind of liked the "arrogant pride" approach. Always saw Superman as having quite a bit of that kind of mentality at times.

Seriously, Behr would suck as any superhero. He looks "like a stoned elf." <--I believe that was someone else's words. Yeah, I don't like Behr's look period. He just looks weird. :o :(
