It wasnt easy. First i selected the red and used the saturator to change it to the same color blue as the pants. Then I blurred the edges with the smudge tool and then air brushed the rest. For the belt I used the stamp tool and basically just extended his chest overtop of his belt and then air brushed a bit more to make it smooth.

Well...Kakarot has a point. The art that you chose to change is still disrespectful to the photographer and the company that owns that picture. The fact that they are not lurkers here doesn't change the fact that you have defaced someone else's art.

I understand your point though. I do manips of pictures all the time but I try not to touch original digital art or scanned art done by other artists. I don't know why it seems more acceptable, but that's just the way I see it.

It too bad some of you folks & myself miss the pic before it was manip. To those who seen it before it was change, how does Routh's face look? Like what his facial expression was? I can see his chest look pretty big. Much better than some of the eariler pics. And he surely look very tall compare with tiny Bosworth. ;)

Routh's chest looks "BIG" in that pic because somebody photoshopped a smaller head onto him from the first release photo that is out of proportion with the body in the actual real pic. Even Kate has a bigger head than Superman in the manip.

Yeah. Some are missing the points. Superman is an alien that look like a man & he can lift so much despite not looking like it. Just like Mr. Incredible from PIXAR's "The Incredibles". He so strong that he can lift a train & he really doesn't look like a bodybuilders like some fans want an actor to look like when playing Superman.

Because it is RED....those are all shades of RED so the cape, trunks, and "S" and boots are RED...not that hard to figure out really. :p
