Without ruffeling any feathers i think a new thread should be created for color correction and such. It doesn't take much skill to adjust hue/sat/levels/color balance and figure out the clone tool. I mean yeah one may consider that a manip, but this thread has turned more into a poster/Fanart/wallpaper/ etc thread. Or if someone changes the suit completely as a manip (eg: the black space suit someone did). And some people post a picture that to the untrained eye just appears to have nothing done to it, atleast explain what you did and show a comparison. Its understandable that people would like to see Routh a certain way, his build, the suit etc, but hey its NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. Singer is not going to jump on SHH take your advice after looking at some pics and reshoot the F'n movie. Again not trying to piss anyone off specificly so i hope not to get flamed, just trying to voice my opinion on the constant pics posted with "i made one nostril smaller than the other because it looked more proportional" - honestly WHO CARES.

Exactly, just like we can't say the manips you and others are drawing are how the colors are going to look either. We can desaturate and resaturate photos till are teeth start to sweat and we aren't going to see the correct colors until the release of the film.

The only way we are really going to know the colors, besides the release of the film, is if somebody got a hold of the pantone #'s used for the colors on the suit.

here is alittle something i've been working on, the hair isn't done and nor is the rest of it. This is my first attempt and airbrushing from scratch. It was drawn (on the computer) than completely airbrushed, no photo manip here.

Also people's monitors are on different settings making it impossible to know what the colours will look like.

But the colours look great on my 23-inch Apple Cinema HD Display. :)

I think that actually IS Iskandar, at least as far as I'm concerned. Turn the letters around a bit in "Radnaski" and you get "Iskandar."

To the other people who made a comment about me being out of line, well you all know where you can go. As for constructive criticism, that shouldn't be "your manip is horrible". Thats just criticism and doesn't help in any way shape or form. You can't stop people from voicing their opinions but nevertheless these are the same A-hole people that you want to kick the ish out of in real life for opening their big mouths at the wrong time. Its simple courtesy, if you don't like someone's work that they put their time into than say so, but say it in a respectful way. Not everyone has been using photoshop or 3D programs for years like some of us, some are brand new and trying, hell you could be using paint, some don't have the ability yet to know good placement or color etc, but no reason to bite their heads off.

Very cool, looks like it could be something from the studio. One suggestion however, i would mask the S on his chest and show more of the color rather than the desaturated look.

Trying to get my airbrush portrait skills up, working on this manip of routh, what do you guys think? The likeness of him so far, does it look like him, not etc? Suggestions? I have not finished the blending so portions of his face may not look that well blended, and for the obvious, his right eye and hair are not finished either.

Thanks! Once i am content with the face i will be adding the lower half, i may go as low as the belt, not sure yet or just have the chest fade out after the S insignia. It is done in a much higher resolution and the intent was to print it out and put it on my wall. It was initially 25'' by 25'' or so at 300dpi but my damned computer wouldn't handle it so i had to scale it down substantially unfortunately.

Do you believe that F'n deviantart.com removed all of my submissions because they said it violated copyright laws? I used images that were released FROM the company to PUBLIC use. Secondly they even removed the work in progress that i just submitted of routh. How the F can you do that? I have seen THOUSANDS of portraits of celebrites on that site and mine gets removed!??? They probably think brandon routh is a character or something rather than a real person because you can't copyright his name WHAT BULL****!!!
