Only in STAS & JLU Superman did not have the Yellow \s/ . (I was upset too), But I got thought it because STAS was a pretty good version of Superman .

Thats part of the reason. The CG effects of the cape (while the wind is blowing it around) with the yellow symbol on it would make the symbol look distorted too....like a huge ink stain on his red cape. It wouldnt look right visually for the type of insane stunt scenes in SR.

I don't think Routh is old enough to play the Kingdom Come Superman yet.

I didn't make those manips, I found them at the Superman Returns board at IMDB, and they were found at a different site, SomethingAwful.com, which I highly recommend visiting because those guys come up with some of the most hilarious stuff. You should see their Star Wars valentines -

Well, the 'S' needs work definitely. It doesn't contour to the chest well to give definition to it. BUT I disagree about the trunks. The larger trunks makes Routh look better 'proportioned'. And the colors are about the same as Reeves, which I like too.

What's your point? The S doesn't need to be that big to be a decent amount bigger than it is, and the colours don't need to be that exageratedly bright. The new suit sucks.

:up: Nice suit Kak, I like it. Apart from the 3D S, I'm still not happy with that. I still think it looks like a bullet shield. Not just in and of itself, but seeing as Superman is so iconographically connected with the image of bullets bouncing off his chest, any promo pics of that for SR would look like they were bouncing off the S shield.
