I mean, despite finding the overall effect a bit mediocre, I got to hand it to 'em for finally making the red undies look good. They've looked goofy in every previous live-action incarnation of the character. SR changed that, IMO.

The gargantuan shield doesn't work outside of a comic book drawing. Dean Cain is living proof of that. Granny panties only work in a historical context--the era where they were in fashion. And as was previously mentioned...no Superman actor has ever looked as huge as what your favored manip presents. Even George Reeves, who looked as much like the Boring and Plastino versions as a human being possibly could, wasn't comic book ripped. It just can't be done.

I would have said Thank You if you gave everyone a little warning that that Picture was a Sample Picture. The way I said that I thought you released that Picture because of the Watermarks yes was out of line & I apologized for it. But can you honestly blame me for coming up with that assumption ? It is rather that after the "incident" earlier in this thread, and your mention of never posting exclusive pics again there has been a LOT of over-compensating going on. Of course thanks are in order, but you yourself can see how suddenly the whole "thanks" thing has gone crazy.

I remember the post you're tralking about and when Enigma said something about the S being able to fit in your hand, I very specifically asked what he meant and he specified that it was the size of the SPAN of your hand, i.e. little finger to thumb, stretched out. That's pretty accurate.

Everything he said in the post actually turned out to be pretty accurate to either the final suit or what little we saw of the prototype suit we saw in one of the blogs. I have no doubt he saw everything he described, because the rest of us have pretty much seen all of it too. He described it with a negative slant, but still accurately.

And Routh IS wearing "Mr Incredible" boots. They have the v-notch too, but they clearly have a diagonal cut like Mr Incredible's, just as Enigma said. And his collar is eaxctly that of a T-Shirt. And the trunks are very small. Etcetera.

*I actually just back-tracked through his earliest posts. He really was pretty close. Not exact mind you, and there was definite negative tone, but a lot of what he said was more or less unique to the suit we ended up getting.

That's where we differ. Supply is always based on demand and if there weren't teeny-boppers chugging down Britney Spears like she was Miles Davis the woman would have no career. It' junkies that create pushers, not the other way round IMO.

I don't disagree. I understand that it is based on demand. That's why I worded what I said the way I did. I find it sad that there are so many people who act like junkies and in turn I'm even more saddened that there are pushers who take advantage of that.

Pretty cool. However, a person with a black eye would normally have less white and pupil showing compared to the uninjured eye. It would be swollen and bruised causing the eye to look like it's squinting.

Just a little suggestion that I'd like to make. I think it might be cooler if Superman had some American Bald Eagles on his side, instead of the doves. Now the doves look awesome and they make a good contrast with the bats, but Superman has always seemed like an eagle guy to me. Especially with the whole "Truth, Justice, and the American way" thing.

If using the current movies as a benchmark I don't think they would go with that script. I actually read most of it, and it has a great backbone. It was a good concept but is dated. I think that the Clark/Superman character was treated very poorly.

I like the main idea behind it so I actually wrote a 50 outline and smaller treatment using elements of the story Walker was trying to tell. Mostly the inclusion of Lana and the Joker killing Batman's love interest. I also think that Walker's script was butchered by somebody else after the fact, but I can't confirm.
