I have only taken the ACT. It seems like that was just what everybody (counselors, teachers) told me to do. I have made a 30... which is enough to get me full tuition to the college I want to go to.

Here is a couple of solutions that might work for you.

1. Check you TV's main menu for TV display (or something like that). There should be an option to switch it from Antenna, Cable, and video. If it does, switch it to Video and try playing the movie. If not...

2. If your TV is older or does not give you an option in the Main Menu to change it to display Video, turn it to channel 00. This could help and make sure you have the setting on the DVD player itself on DVD. I guess the newer ones give you the ability to watch TV through them (similiar to VCR's).

That's all I can think of at the moment. What connection from the DVD to TV are you using?
