We here at Warner Bros. Entertainment along with Mr. Nolan want to re-establish the Batman franchise as one of the best and we understand that internet communication is the best way to do this.

Very awsome!!! I've seen alot of ideas that are posted on the hype that turn into reality. Even some of my own. It makes me feel alot better that the WB is working with Nolan and getting a collective group of ideas rather than forcing what they think a Batman movie should be like. After bashing the WB for so long I have to give them credit. It looks like they are going about this the right way.

Anyway, kudos to WB/Nolan if this is legit. No better way to get a sense of what the fans want to see in the next film than to hear it roll right off their tongues(or fingers, in this case).

I think WB have to start building bridges between themselves and fans. The "Chris Nolan" account can only be a good thing. A "McG" account would be better because I think fans need more reassurances on Superman than they do Batman.

..when everyone wanted Russel Crowe or Mel Gibson for Wolverine I wanted Gary Sinise (Lt. Dan from Forest Gump).

But yeah...Christian Bale is an awesome actor and while I wouldn't mind seeing him as Batman...I'd rather see someone else fill Batman's boots. Christian would've been the perfect Cyclops IMO....just imagine the heat Bale and Jackman would've created on screen!

Just a few things to point out. MSJ's identity was confirmed by the mods in the Community Forum. Second, and maybe most important, his PM feature has always been disabled. I'm finding it a bit hard to believe that Nolan & Co., if it's really them, are just sitting around answering PMs. Third, I did a search on the apparent WB person, "Karen Bettlesmith," and couldn't find squat. Nothing. That message sounded pretty convincing, but it could all be one fanboy's sick joke. Even more interesting are the mis-spellings in the referenced PMs. This is looking more and more phony by the minute.

As of now, until proven otherwise, I believe the "Chris Nolan" account to be a fraud.

Hopefully I'll be proven wrong ;).

In addition, I'd like to add that the information "Chris Nolan" PM'd this man with regarding Robin and Batgirl is unreliable for the fact that including Robin and Batgirl in this next film would be an illogical and stupid mistake. If this film is a new beginning for the franchise, and the first for a new Batman director (not taking anything away from his other great films, for he's certainly not a rookie director) Nolan knows what he's doing, and will stick with the Batman basics, and make a great movie from the actor he chooses and the story he has, without annoying kid sidekicks and such.

1)adding Robin and Batgirl would not be a mistake, as long as it was done right, schumacher F***ed up their appearences, but if it were done say on the level that Batman TAS did it, it would work

Unfourtunetly I will not be involved with the upcoming Batman Special Edition DVD's (after all i wasn't involved with the production of the first four films). I do know that Warner Bros is making Special Editions of the four films, but as for the specific details, i like everybodyelse am in the dark.

If WB is doing Special Editions you can bet your ass they will want behind the scene previews from the new Batman on, and Nolan would know that by now. Nolan would be involved with the special edition DVDs, if nothing else, he would know WB wants his preview.

If you studied English at school and use it in everyday life as part of your chosen career, you would definitely pick up a clear grasp of spelling and grammar along the way. I know he wouldn't really care about bad spelling in a PM but that shouldn't matter. As a writer, good spelling and grammar should come as almost second nature.

Besides, the man is English. We Inglish hav perfict speling.

i have to disagree, WB knows that the burton/schumacher SE DVD's will sell well, they will want to make them all about those films
