but I now have the dillema of which movie to review...I was thinking of either Equilibrium, because it's great and no one has ever seen it here, or Gigli, because it's horrible and it would be hillarious to review it...any other suggestions? and I dont want to be like the people last year and review a bunch of movies like Caddyshack that everyone has already seen and know is great...so if you suggest anything like that, you get stoned to death :o

To begin with you need to start reviewing the latest releases, then have a classic movie review section. As far as classic movies to review you really should consider doing the ones people aren't familiar with and every once and a while throw in one everyone has seen.

Equilibrium would be a good one.

Only problem is you'd probably give it more credit than it deserves...:o

Wasn't the Chair in Equilibrium? You know, that last scene with Father?

I am unable to confirm that rumor at this point in time.

Ahh. Yes, you are right.

In fact, it was none other than The Chair who suggested Christian Bale for the part of Batman in the new Christopher Nolan film. When Chair was casted, Nolan reportedly asked Chair for some casting advice, and due to his work alongside Bale in "Equilibrium", he suggested Bale himself take on the role.

The Chair and Christian Bale attend the premier of "Kart Racer" as pals.

Why not have a "newbie" and "oldie" and an "unknown"
That way you get something new, something old and something that most people dont know about.

that's great Joker. you're a good writer (i mean that) and should make those reviews quite *interesting*. after you get finished with one, why don't you reprint it here and let us critique it? :)

So, um, did you enjoy the experience of being a Roger Ebert wanna-be? :o

Why not review a new film, it's what most reviewers tend to do.

Gattaca (great SCI-FI movie that doesn't need explosions or lasers to be great)

Waking Life (great movie, trippy, makes you feel like a Philosopher, done by the same director and same animation style as A SCANNER DARKLY)

Little Miss Sunshine (A hear-warming family comedy that is rated R. Whodathunkit?)

Lady in the Water ( Decent modern day fairy tale. With this, I would suggest telling how the Advertising can misinform the populace. M.Night said in the teaser that this was going to be a fairy tale. Then all these advertisers here whose directing it and try to sell it as a Horror/thriller. )

do something new like renaissance perhaps? That way it's still upto date and relevant, all media is current, so it helps to be that way in reviews, also renaissance is amazing :)
