Friday's Smackdown -
Pre-Smackdown/ECW Dark Match: Deuce and Domino w/ Cherry defeated Scotty 2 Hotty and Funaki with a nice looking finisher after cutting a promo about how Cherry and skate better then the New York Islanders and throw a football better than anybody from the New York Giants.
Cage Match: MVP defeated Kane by getting over the top of the cage.
Gregory Helms defeated Jimmy Wang Yang with a rollup.
William Regal w/ Dave Taylor defeated Brian Kendrick w/ Paul London and Ashley with an assist from Dave Taylor with a monster clothesline that took out Paul London and Ashley.
Finlay defeated Chris Benoit with help from Chavo Guerrero w/ Vicki Guerrero and afterwards Chavo frog splashed Chris Benoit twice. Benoit got a Holly-like gash in his back during the regular match.
Mr. Kennedy cut a promo in which Undertaker made an appearance and poured blood onto his head.
Boogeyman defeated The Miz by countout and Boogeyman two-handed chokeslammed the referee and spit worms onto him.
King Booker w/ Sharmell had a contract signing with Teddy Long to vow that Survivor Series will be Batista's last chance to win the title back. All of the parties signed the contract then King Booker beat up on Batista to end the show.
I had a feeling Yang/Helms was going to happen this week. Think they will give the belt to Yang and move Helms up to the US Title.
Damn, 3 of those matches on the card are something I'm really looking forward too. But the rest looks bland. It's going to be a 50/50 show.
I don't like the sound of Booker beating Batista up at the end of the show. :csad:

It's not that I'm surprised or anything, it's just I wanted to see Booker have a long title reign. He's so over right now it's not even funny. Why give long title reigns to JBL and Cena? Of course I maybe wrong and all, but Booker deserves this run and I want him to hold the championship until WM.
I'd love to see a feud with Booker/Benoit over the championship. But I do see your point, who is there to feud with Booker? Other than Benoit of course. Benoit and Batista are your major faces who contend with Booker.
Hopefully Batista continues chasing the title rather than winning it.

Yep. All the faces are on Raw. And Punk,RVD,Lashley, etc. are at ECW. SD! needs some new talent. I wish there was another draft lottery, and we'd get DX over at SD! Booking wise it makes no sense to have your top monster face fail 4 times to win the belt and then drag it all the way to WM for another rematch of a pretty crappy combination
Batista should win this Sunday and then either turn heel and feud with Benoit or Stay face and have Kennedy chase him into WM23

Due to the lack of depth on the ECW roster, WWE probably isn't too keen on doing ECW-specific PPVs for much longer. To show you the lack of depth on the ECW roster, WWE hasn't even booked a single undercard match for the upcoming December to Dismember pay-per-view - and it's only two weeks away. The future ECW pay-per-views after this one will more than likely be spiced up by talent from both RAW and SmackDown - more so than usual. The next ECW PPV event after December to Dismember is scheduled to take place in June. Furthermore, the idea that the ECW Champion has to draw doesn't really matter anymore because he'll be working on either RAW or SmackDown live events for the time being. Because the champion doesn't have to draw, WWE probably won't be as hesitant to give the belt to certain people who probably wouldn't get it otherwise.
Bobby Lashley is now officially a member of ECW. His profile on WWE.com has been moved from the SmackDown section to the ECW section.
In this month's edition of "The Styles Files" on ECW.com, Joey Styles looks back at his earlier days in ECW with a pre-WWE Chris Benoit and Tazz.

WWE really needs to move some of their guys up. Like kennedy was moving up just fine untill he bumped into the undertaker. Kennedy better go over at SS, that's the only way i see the feud working. Maybe they could bring back benoit too. He's really at a low point now, even with his US title.
On Raw, i could see some of the Spirit Squad guys moving up a bit (like kenny) Maybe put him in the IC division.

Actually Kennedy kind of stalled prior to the whole Taker feud. The Taker feud seems to be his transition from midcard to uppercard if he goes over, which he should. Kennedy was stuck in this revolving door midcard push that made it look like he was moving up the card prior to the Undertaker feud. Hopefully this whole thing doesn't hurt his push too badly, as he is one of the best talkers on the roster, and has gotten the Taker feud over with his mic work alone.

But seriously the Spirit Squad should disband after SS. On RAW there was that tension about the whole captain situation. Kenny is ready for the solo move. Maybe 2 of them stay as a tag team (or 3) and Kenny splits and goes solo and one other does the same.

Actually since ECW isn't really being treated as its own entity, they might as well do a ECW vs Smackdown PPV, maybe having Heyman or Long challenge each other for control and combine both shows. Smackdown would have more challengers such as RVD for the belt, and CM Punk could mix it up with guys like Benoit and Regal.
And RAW can stay the way it is...until they bring in Harry Smith and TJ Wilson.

Stephanie McMahon has declared former Tough Enough contestant Daniel Rodimer as being "the next big thing" and she wants him to start on RAW by January at the earliest. And when he does come up, she wants "something big for him." Internally, according to people who have seen him or worked with him, everyone believes (besides Stephanie) that even a January 2008 call-up would be pushing it for him. Rodimer has only been wrestling since August. Nonetheless, he has the look that WWE loves, moreso than anyone else in developmental, and perhaps some people already in WWE. Rodimer is 6-6 and nearly 300 pounds.
The company wanted Rodimer to win the 2004 Tough Enough, but he didn't do much in the competition besides look big and cocky. Also, his promos weren't too good and he didn't stand out in the competitions, which is why he was eliminated fairly quickly. Although, he does have an athletic background as he played college football at the University of South Florida, but was not a star there.
Regarding his work in DSW, he gets over in personality there, but his matches haven't gotten over too well - and DSW is considered to be the "easy level." Then again, he just started last August.

Why do they get so geeked over someone's "look" instead of someone who can actually work and knows what the hell they're doing. I understand the need for both physical presence in addition to in-ring talent to truly get over, but if that stuff is true, it's ****ing ridiculous. He's been wrestling since August and they want to put him on the flagship show come January? WTF? Of course, the reliance seems to be on 'entertainment' with just a side of wrestling, so I'm probably overthinking the issue here. :whatever:

Interesting comments from Meltzer in the question and answer section of WON.com:
DM: It's not that hard to keep going. There is always going to be good and bad. It's just part of an ongoing story. WWE isn't that bad. I've seen far worse, and far better. They have problems with their system when it comes to building the future that they never address, but that's not unusual in wrestling either.
See, this is why Meltzer is usually the most reliable wrestling journalist out there.

Difference is that Cena has charisma and has the ability to be entertaining. Now,that doesn't excuse his wrestling talent, but I'm sure he'd look like Rob Van Dam next to this guy. :o

Adam Pearce Has A Special Challenge For Homicide
Wednesday, November 22, 2006
Adam Pearce has sent this to the ROH offices concerning his 12/9 match against Homicide in Chicago. Check out this challenge from Pearce:
"I keep drifting back to Dayton. Remembering that I looked up, lying in the center of the ring, counting those proverbial lights, and a moment of serenity came over me. I’d just been hit with a Muscle Buster and a Lariat and there wasn’t a chance of me kicking out. I knew I’d been beaten. But that didn’t bother me so much. The goal was to inflict pain on you, Homicide, to soften you up for Corino so that you’d be his feast in Philadelphia.
That came to pass and it wasn’t meant to be, as you stood victorious again.
And a fury built inside me like none other, as I continue to watch a growing arrogance bloom in you, Homicide. One bred of ignorance. You’re the same Homicide that waited weeks to join the fight against CZW, the same Homicide that showed up when the glory was greatest, the same Homicide that looked a man in the eye and spat in his face when the gifts weren’t grand enough, and the same Homicide that reveled in it when the morons cheered you every step of the way. And that disgusts me Homicide.
Now the faithful have driven my esteemed leader and mentor, Jim Cornette, from ROH. This leaves many wondering where I stand and what the purpose is for Shane Hagadorn and I. That purpose is simple and hasn’t changed even with the loss of our leader.
My purpose now is simple. Hurt you. Disable you. And thoroughly enjoy it. Remember way back when after the Cage of Death you made demands that Mr. Cornette was not willing to accommodate. And shortly thereafter you exposed yourself for the ignorant sludge that you are, and as such, James J. Dillon and I locked you down while Mr. Cornette lay upon you a whipping you so richly deserved. I now pledge to repeat that feat even without Mr. Cornette at my side.
I pose a challenge to you, Homicide.Let there be nothing between us but ten feet of leather strap, connecting us at the left wrist. I want you in a strap match in Chicago. Let’s be honest, Homicide. There isn’t anyone that expects me to beat you. No one in the office, no one in the front row, and no one on the God forsaken internet. This should be a cakewalk for you then, shouldn’t it? Who am I? I can’t possibly beat the mighty Homicide!
I’ll be anxiously waiting for you to accept. You’re too arrogant not to. Just remember this: The man most dangerous in any fight is he who has nothing left to lose.
Chicago. Strap Match. The choice is yours."

Is the ROH sale only for today??
Regal yet again proved why he is one of the best in wrestling, with London and Kendrick showing their talent as well. This is a great series of matches, and I can't wait for Taylor to be healthy enought to have a tag match between the 2 teams.
Looking forward to the Helms/Yang rematch. Was good seeing my hometown (well, the redneck offshoot of my hometown) paying respect to the cruiserweights.
The cage match had its moments. Thought MVP showed a little promise in it, but not much. He needs to work with someone better than Kane.
Now, only one match left to look forward to, and it doesn't have the Miz in it.

Survivor Series:thoughts/predictions
DX (co-captains) CM Punk, Matt & Jeff Hardy vs. Rated RKO (co-captains), Johnny Nitro, Mike Knox & Gregory Helms
This is the match i'm most looking forward to,it'll be great to see Punk on a PPV and the Hardys reunion the other night was a lot of fun plus the heel side has Helms and Edge who have both been great this summer
I'd love to see a surprise Survivor in this but i'd be shocked if Orton isn't the last man standing to keep his survivor series elimination match streak alive
John Cena (Captain), Kane, Lashley, Sabu & RVD vs. Big Show (Captain), Test, MVP, Finlay & Umaga
Should be a lot of fun with some feud building altercations such as Cena/Umaga and Lashley/Show
Hard to guess the exact pattern this will take as 3 of the EEC guys are on one team and two on another so they may play up tension in the teams,it's also gonna be interesting to see how Finlay is used in this
My bet is Cena is left 3 on 1 and takes out 2 before falling to Umaga
Ric Flair (captain), Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter & Ron Simmons vs. Kenny (captain), Johnny, Nicky & Mikey
I can't imagine this not being fun or short,i'm thinking a clean sweep for the legends leading to the Johny/Kenny meltdown and SS split
Batista vs. World Heavyweight Champion King Booker
I hope this doesn't go on last, ive not really enjoyed any of their other matches and if it's at least mediocre i'll be happy,
I think Batista has to win,as much as he wants the Wrestlemania glory i think having him fail to win the title back 5 times is gonna make him look weak
Mr. Kennedy vs. Undertaker-First Blood Match
The build to this has been all Kennedy, his promo's have set the stage well and hopefully this will be an improvement over their lacklustre first meeting but with Takers severe rib injury that may be wishful thinking
Surely Kennedy goes over as Taker is hurt and he can job this one without actually jobbing
Chris Benoit vs Chavo Guerrero-United States Championship Match
The angle hasn't been much fun but i expect the match to be great despite likely Vickie interference
I can't think of any Benoit/Chavo WWE matches so this will be a fresh match for PPV
I think Benoit wins this one or it's a DQ finish saving the title change for the Armageddon PPV
Lita vs. Mickie James for the Women's Championship
I can't imagine this being anything but godawful given their Cyber Sunday match and i think Lita's performance for Trish's finale was a miracle from her
There really is no reason for Lita to win,it worked with Trish as she is a face and popular and in Kayfabe terms the greatest woman's champion ever but Lita is a heel and putting Mickie over makes a lot more sense than a send off for someone who has been hated for the last 2 years

- Mike Johnson reports that there is quite a bit of backstage heat on Sabu at this time. Sabu was late to several house shows recently and even fell asleep backstage at a recent taping. Things got even worse for him this week when he blew off a photo shoot he was scheduled to take part in after the Smackdown/ECW tapings on Tuesday. There is serious talk that he may not last to much longer in the WWE.
- Johnson reports as well that Randy Orton's current WWE contract expires in May of 2007. Both sides have already entered into negotiations for a new long term deal.

Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 was the #1 selling video game in Australia this week.
The New York Times ran a story yesterday on Marc Ratner of UFC, whose role is to get the sport of MMA legalized in every commission state in the US. New York is one of the states highest up on the agenda.
Randy Orton’s contract with WWE will be expiring in May 2007. WWE has already made moves to try and lock him in to a longer deal to prevent him from jumping to TNA or any other company

http://wrestling.insidepulse.com/articles/63039/2006/11/25/trish-monty-wrestlemania-pride--wwe-news.html
Trish Stratus is up for a lead role for a new reality TV show in which celebrities become law enforcement officers. The police department of Muncie, IN will be working with the producers should the show get picked up. Other names mentioned are Jack Osbourne and Erik Estrada.
Vince McMahon has been putting pressure on Raw and Smackdown head writers Brian Gerwitz and Michael Hayes to give the two shows a more distinctive feel. He wants Gerwitz to model Raw on the late '90s and Hayes to model Smackdown on the late '80s.
Shane McMahon was the person pushing hard for WWE and Pride to make a deal as he is a big MMA fan. In the early years of UFC there was even talk of the WWF purchasing the group and having Shane run it. As it stands it is very unlikely that WWE will bother doing anything with Pride, particularly as Bob Sapp would not be able to work as a wrestler full-time.
It is still unclear which WWE brand Monty Brown will be a part of. Heyman pushed for him to join ECW first, while some feel Brown would be better on Smackdown as it is taped, and others feel that since ECW has Lashley and Smackdown has MVP they should add another young African-American to Raw since they are never going to push Shelton Benjamin significantly.
SPOILER for Survivor Series....
There is now serious talk of Batista defending the World Heavyweight Title against The Undertaker at WrestleMania, putting the belt up against the winning streak. Vince McMahon has okayed the idea and, so far, the plan would include putting Batista over.

-Sucks that Benjamin is gettin swept under the rug. But I like Monty being sent to RAW. Dunno why but I think it'd be good.
-Everything was good until the Batista getting over. F*** that. Undertaker needs to keep the streak and take the belt from him. I'm dead serious.

Turkey, meet Balls
By Noah Starr
November 22, 2006
Balls Mahoney is all about the holidays, just ask anyone unlucky enough to be involved in his "Nutcracker Suite." WWE.com sat down with the chair swinging Extremist to discuss Turkey Day.
WWE.com: Thanks for taking the time to talk to us, Balls.
Balls: I hope you can understand me, I know I'm slurring. I haven't slept in three days; I'm living off Mountain Dew.
WWE.com: No problem. Who do you usually spend Thanksgiving with?
Balls: I live with my mother. I don't get along with a lot of people in my family, so I really don't like going to relatives' houses. I'm the black sheep in the family, obviously. My mom was the black sheep in her family. I mean she was at Woodstock, you know? I always felt like -- eh. With all the wrestling, ECW, Smokey Mountain, and the little stint as Santa Claus -- all of a sudden everybody wants me at the family get-togethers. Well they never wanted me there before, so they can go F-off. I want you to put that, F-off. If they weren't supporting me then, why the hell are they coming out of the woodwork now?
WWE.com: How nice. So, what are you thankful for?
Balls: I'm thankful for my job. I'm thankful for all the hard work finally paying off. I'm thankful for the time that me and a my mother have together, I'm thankful for the couple of special ladies in my life that understand what my life is like because of how busy I am...
WWE.com: Any special lady in particular that likes to cuddle up with Balls?
Balls: My ex, when I was with her. We broke up because of my own issues, now we're kind of seeing each other again, you know what I mean? When I first met her, she was beautiful. She had big breasts, they were natural. Big breasts, about a buck 10. Her breasts grew, they went from a D to a double E and she went from 110 to 160 in two and a half years. It was all from my cooking.
WWE.com: Um, okay. That's a lot of information. So you are a good cook then?
Balls: My mom's cooking, it's alright, but it kind of sucks, so I had to learn how to cook.
WWE.com: I'm sure she'll be happy to hear that. What's your specialty?
Balls: Chicken Mahoney. It's chicken cutlets, thin cut, which I do not go out to the store for. Why spend the extra money?
First, season the chicken lightly with sweet Hungarian paprika. I know this sounds weird with paprika, but trust me, all you need is little paprika, garlic powder, and kosher salt. I always use Kosher salt. You will also need fresh ground pepper, garlic powder, and some herbs. You will also have to do my prep work, which is tons of garlic. I love garlic. Just add a little bit of shallot and a ton of mushrooms to the mix.
Once this is done, get a skillet and angel hair pasta, already cooked, but not cooked to death. When it comes out, you want the pasta to be kind of crunchy. From there, brown the chicken breasts. Once you turn the chicken breasts, add in your aromatics, take your chicken breasts out, and sauté up your mushrooms really, really good.
Take the white wine, which I prefer a Chardonnay - Pinot Grigio mix called Luna de Luna. Grease the pan. Add butter and heavy cream. Get it together until it's got a nice sauce consistency. Put the chicken back in. The chicken's not completely cooked, so leave it in there until it is cooked through. Remove the chicken.
I know this sounds like a lot, but believe me, it works.
Then, in your angel hair pasta, add some fresh herbs and some parmesan cheese. Toss and cook it for a minute. Take the chicken breasts out, put them on a plate, and there's Chicken Mahoney.
WWE.com: Damn! That's a ballsy recipe.

AMSTERDAM, NY- The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum (PWHF) is pleased to announce the 2007 PWHF Induction Class and Senator Farley Awardee. The PWHF, a New York State chartered not-for-profit corporation, will be celebrating its Sixth Annual Induction Weekend in May of 2007.
In the Pioneer Era Category former World Champions Earl Caddock and Gus Sonnenberg will be honored. Earl Caddock was born in 1888 to German Jewish parents and he battled tuberculosis as a child. After a very successful amateur career, Earl was trained for professional wrestling by the legendary Frank Gotch and Farmer Burns before making his debut in 1915. On April 19, 1917, he won the World Wrestling Title by defeating Joe Stecher in Omaha, Nebraska. His outstanding career continued until it was interrupted by his service in World War 1. Caddock retired following his final bid to regain the Championship from Ed Lewis in 1922. He died of heart problems in 1950. Gustave “Gus” Sonnenberg was born in Michigan in 1898. He was a relatively small man by wrestling standards. Gus was only 5’7” tall and weighed approximately 200 pounds. He was highly educated and attended both Dartmouth and the University of Detroit, where he graduated with a law degree. He was well versed in many sports and he had a successful college and professional football career. However, it was wrestling for which he will always be remembered. Possessing unusual strength and speed, Sonnenberg used his football skills in the ring to develop his “flying tackle” move. In January of 1929, Gus defeated Strangler Lewis at Boston Gardens to gain the World’s Championship. Sonnenberg died of leukemia in 1944 at the young age of 46.
In the Television Era Category, the 2007 inductees are Danny Hodge and Pat O’Connor. Born in 1932, Danny Hodge was a three-time NCAA wrestling champion at the University of Oklahoma. He wrestled in the Olympics and won a Silver Medal in 1956. He was the first wrestler to ever grace the cover of Sports Illustrated. Trained by “Strangler” Lewis, Danny also had a stellar professional career holding the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship a record eight times. He also achieved great success as a tag team wrestler. Danny continues to live in his hometown of Perry, Oklahoma with Dolores, his bride of over fifty years. The other honoree in the Television Category is Pat O’Connor. Born in 1925 in New Zealand, Patrick “Pat” O’Connor was known for his athletic and wrestling ability. He was truly a wrestler’s wrestler and one of the best “workers” of his era. Pat first won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship from Dick Hutton and at one time held both the AWA and NWA belts simultaneously. In 1961 O’Connor dropped the belt to Buddy Rogers in front of a record of over 38,000 fans at Comiskey Park in Chicago. Pat was later a booker in St. Louis. He succumbed to cancer in 1990.
The Modern Era Inductees for this coming year are Ted DiBiase and Roddy Piper. Born in 1954, Ted DiBiase is the stepson of former professional wrestler Iron Mike DiBiase. Ted started his wrestling career while a student at West Texas State University after being trained by Dory Funk Jr. Ted met his first wrestling successes in the late 1970’s in the National Wrestling Alliance. However, his destiny was to become one of the all time great heels as the “Million Dollar Man” in the World Wrestling Federation. His finishing move was the “Million Dollar Dream”. DiBiase was also a master with the microphone. One of his most memorable events was negotiating the championship belt from Andre the Giant following Andre’s defeat of Hulk Hogan for the title in 1988. Since his retirement from the ring, Ted has stayed active in the sport as a manager and creative consultant. He also travels regularly as a Christian minister. Roderick Toombs, better known as Rowdy Roddy Piper, was also born in 1954. Though of Scottish descent, he was actually raised in Winnipeg, Canada. Roddy became a professional wrestler at age 15, making him one of the youngest performers of all time. As a Golden Gloves boxer and a black belt judo expert, Roddy achieved success in combat sports other than wrestling. Roddy enjoyed great successes on the West Coast during the mid to late 1970’s in the NWA but Piper etched his permanent mark while in the WWF in the 1980’s. Not only did Roddy have memorable matches in Wrestlemanias but he also created a hugely popular interview segment known as “Piper’s Pit”. In the late 1990’s, Roddy joined WCW before later returning to the WWE. It has been reported that Piper has held thirty-eight professional wrestling titles and been victorious in over 7,000 professional matches. Roddy is also an accomplished actor and has appeared in over thirty movies.
The 2007 International Category Inductee is Karl Gotch. Karl Istaz, aka Karl Gotch, was born in 1924 in Antwerp, Belgium of German and Hungarian ancestry. With a strong amateur career, Karl competed for Belgium in the 1948 Olympics. Karl was trained professionally by Billy Riley in Britain at the famous “Snake Pit”. Subsequently he developed a reputation as a top “shooter”, often under the name of Karl Krauser. In the late 1950’s, Karl began his tours in the United States. Karl found relative success in Australia and America but his ultimate appreciation came in Japan, where his technical skills were greatly respected. In Japan, he was labeled as the “God of Professional Wrestling” due to his influence on the Japanese wrestling style. Considered by many to be the greatest living technical professional wrestler in the world, Karl is retired and lives in Florida.
The Senator Hugh Farley Award, which is given to a wrestler who has brought honor and dignity to professional wrestling, will be presented to Dr. Billy Darnell. The Farley award is determined by committee decision and is based upon the ring career as well as the non-wrestling societal contributions made by the honoree. Chairpersons this year were Bob Bryla and John Pantozzi. Billy Darnell twice held the NWA World Tag Team title with partner Bill Melby. His matches with Buddy Rogers are considered legendary. Darnell secured his retirement from wrestling by obtaining a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and has continued to serve his fellow man in that field to this very day. Interestingly, Dr. Darnell once wrestled Dr. John Bonica, a past recipient of the PWHF New York State Award, which was the forerunner of the Farley Award.
The 2007 Women’s Category Inductee will be Cora Combs of Nashville, Tennessee. Combs made her professional ring debut in 1950. She battled all of the top female performers including World Champion Mildred Burke. During her career, Cora held the NWA Southern Women’s Championship belt. She wrestled as “Lady Satan” frequently and trained her daughter, Debbie Combs, on the fine points of the mat wars. Cora and Debbie had entertaining matches against each other as well as forming a tag team combination at other points in time.
The inductees for the TagTeam Category are Chris and John Tolos. Real life brothers, Chris and John were born in Hamilton, Canada and nicknamed the “Hamilton Wrecking Crew”. In the 1960’s, they held multiple versions of the NWA World Tag Team Championship as well as the WWWF Tag Team Title, which they won from Killer Kowalski and Gorilla Monsoon in 1963. Known as great workers, the brothers relied on their natural loyalty to one another to get themselves over with the fans. In the 1970’s, John developed a strong reputation as a singles wrestle due to a classic feud with Freddie Blassie in Los Angeles. Chris remained in Canada to wrestle single matches as well. In 2005, cancer claimed the life of Chris in Hamilton, Ontario.
Jack Pfefer is the recipient in the 2007 Non-Participant Category. Born near Warsaw, Poland in 1894, the colorful Jacob “Jack” Pfefer came to the United States as a theatre agent. Several years later, Jack became involved in the professional wrestling business. He first started in Chicago and then moved to New York to work with the legendary promoter Jack Curley. Following a bitter dispute within the New York promoting circle, Pfefer exposed the internal workings of the “wrestling business” to the press. The public perception of the sport was impacted and later led to the popularizing of the entertainment aspect of professional wrestling. Exaggerated ring personas became his trademark. Jack Pfefer died in Massachusetts in 1974. His vast collection of mementos from his 45 years in the wrestling may be viewed at the University of Notre Dame.
The PWHF officials wish to thank California Attorney Robert Oates for his outstanding leadership as Chairperson of the Screening Committee this year. Also serving on the Screening Committee were wrestling historian J Michael Kenyon and wrestling memorabilia expert John Pantozzi. The PWHF also wishes to acknowledge the support from Karl Lauer, Executive Vice-President of the Cauliflower Alley Club. The rotating thirty member Board of Selectors, which is equally divided between professional wrestlers and wrestling experts, voted upon this year’s ballot.
As further information regarding the planned May18 & 19, 2007 Induction Weekend develops, it may be obtained on the PWHF website address http://www.pwhf.org/. (http://www.pwhf.org/.)
I might be making a road trip upstate next year.
Now, WWE should follow in their footsteps and induct DiBiase into their Hall of Fame.

Leave it to Vince McMahon to make a real retarded decision. I think the Undertakers streak is something he should keep forever and ever, it's what adds to his legendary status as one of the best.

The streak should stay intact, but if anyone was going to end it, it shouldn't be a guy who has limited ability in structuring/executing a match who'll likely be gone in 2 years anyway.
This doesn't sound like something that Calaway would sign off on.

Survivor Series Predictions
DX (co-captains) CM Punk, Matt & Jeff Hardy vs. Rated RKO (co-captains), Johnny Nitro, Mike Knox & Gregory Helms
Randy is the last one on his team and picks up the win.
John Cena (Captain), Kane, Lashley, Sabu & RVD vs. Big Show (Captain), Test, MVP, Finlay & Umaga
Big Show's team picks up the win.
Ric Flair (captain), Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter & Ron Simmons vs. Kenny (captain), Johnny, Nicky & Mikey
I think Flair and Simmons will be doing the most work, but hopefully Dusty can pull out some of his old moves. Flair's team wins in an upset and Kenny finally splits from SS
Batista vs. World Heavyweight Champion King Booker
*sigh* So it begins. It's obvious Batista will win it,and now it looks like he'll take it to Wrestlemania as well. I'm expecting nothing short of a squash for booker.
Mr. Kennedy vs. Undertaker-First Blood Match
After the hilariously bad bloody rain segment, hopefully Kennedy goes over clean. But I don't think I want Kennedy on Raw...
Chris Benoit vs Chavo Guerrero-United States Championship Match
I'm sick of all these angles involving Eddie. Let him rest. Let Vicki do something backstage but enough of this angle. Hopefully Benoit wins and ends it before it gets worse.
Lita vs. Mickie James for the Women's Championship
Lita hasn't wrestled a good match for nearly 2 years so Mickie will be carrying. Mickie will most probably get the title. Like I said earlier,I'm half expecting Edge to come out and spear Lita as a goodbye.

In my opinion I feel Orton or Edge should be the one to end Taker's streak.
Obviously I'm not the owner or the writer for the WWE; however, if anyone should end Taker's streak it should be the future of the company. But I want his streak to stay intact since it adds to his legendary status.

Taker himself has said he doesn't want to retire with the streak in tact as he'd rather do the traditional thing and make someone else on the way out
He would have put Oroton over if Orton hadn't have needed shoulder surgery immediately after WM21
Right now Batista would be a waste,id either hang on till next year and put Kenny or Lashley over or if they want to do it this year put Cena over

I'd only want Cena to do it if he became a badass heel. Kenny still needs to prove he can make it as a singles competitor and Lashley,I think, wouldn't be a horrible choice. But Batista is just as old as Undertaker and since he's probably going to retire within the next 3 years it wouldn't make sense. I mean,10 years from now I doubt people will be talking about 'Tista.
My predictions
Team DX vs Team RKO-I'm gonna go with RKO with Randy AND Helms as the survivors
Spirit Squad vs Legends-Legends will dominate but Kenny will eliminate Flair
Mickie vs Lita- Mickie
Kennedy vs Taker-Kennedy goes over,
Benoit vs Chavo-I hope Chavo wins and they stop the Eddie ****
Batista vs King Booker-Tista obviously
as for the Takers WM streak, it should've ended 2 years ago against Orton, I really hope it doesnt end with Batista. I'd kind of like to see Edge end it, he's undefeated at Mania as well

I could see Cena doing a Hogan/Warrior deal with Taker, with Kenny it would have to wait a year or maybe 2 i guess
I wouldn't mind Edge taking it as a reward for his amazing work this year as since once again he won't get the main event spot but at this point I'm not sure Edge needs it

Survivor Series Predictions:
Team DX (Co-Captains DX with the Hardy Boyz and CM Punk) vs. Team Rated RKO (Co-Captains Rated RKO with Johnny Nitro, Gregory Helms, and Mike Knox):
This match is the most interesting on the card. Putting CM Punk in such a match is a sign that he's being tested to see if he can play with the big boys, and I think that he can. He just needs to stay cool under the pressure and perform well. Knox is out first, who then yanks Punk out of the ring and Punk is eliminated via count out. The Hardyz eliminate Gregory Helms, but Rated RKO and Nitro work together to eliminate the Hardyz. Triple H is in and eliminates Nitro, but teamwork from Rated RKO eliminates Triple H. Shawn Michaels eliminates Edge and goes up with Orton a few minutes before being eliminated after taking the RKO.
Team Cena (Captain Cena with RVD, Sabu, Lashley, and Kane) vs. Team Big Show (Captain Big Show with Test, Finlay, Umaga and MVP):
Should be fun. I expect RVD and Sabu to do some of their tag team stuff together considering the PPV is in Philly. Kane eliminates himself chasing MVP to the back. Tension will be pretty clear between Lashley and RVD. Big Show is eliminated by Super Cena after Show eliminates the contenders using various underhanded tactics, including betraying Test by allowing him to be eliminated somehow. Comes down to Cena and Umaga, Umaga pins Cena clean.
Team Old Guys (Captain Ric Flair with Sgt. Slaughter, Dusty, and Ron Simmons managed by Arn Anderson) vs. Team Spirit Squad:
Short, fun squash which hopefully includes Arn coming in and giving a couple Spirit Squadders the Spinebuster. Kenny becomes frustrated and walks off and the Spirit Squad finally breaks up.
Batista vs. King Booker for the World Heavyweight Title: Logically, this will go on last. I'm hoping Booker will pull something watchable out, and I've come to terms with Batista winning, King Booker's reign has been fun as hell, but I guess all good things must come to an end.
Benoit vs. Chavo w/Vickie Guerrero for the United States Title:
Should be a good match, slightly marred by a tasteless storyline. Chavo wins the US title with interference from Vickie.
Kennedy vs. Taker, First Blood:
The First Blood stip should make this match better than their first (which I didn't think was that bad) and should ensure that Kennedy goes over. This is the type of match where Taker doesn't have to worry about jobbing because the stip protects the face.
Mickie vs. Lita for the Women's title:
Lita loses and and retires, possibly after interference from Edge due to a segment that is shown earlier in the match? Either way, Mickie will walk out champion, and the match will probably suck due to Lita being totally effed up post injury.
Overall, I'm anticipating the results of this PPV, as it could be one of the best and most effective PPV's WWE has produced this year.

Predictions:
Team DX vs. Team Rated RKO:
Match I'm most looking forward to. I hope Punk eliminates at least Knox, before getting taken out. Comes down to HBK and Orton, Orton gets the win.
Team Cena vs. Team Big Show:
Should be fun, with some flippy bumping from the small guys. I can see it working out like last year, where Team Cena hits their finishers and can't keep Show down, since he is being booked as a monster. Perhaps Cena lifts him for the FU to take him out. Comes down to Cena and UMAGA, UMAGA gets the win clean.
Team Legends vs. Team Spirit Squad:
Eh, should be a quick, fun squash with the legends hitting their moves. Kenny splits and the Squad breaks up. Here's to hoping Arn hits a few Spinebusters, and somebody gets the DOMINATOR~! DAMN! :cmad:
Batista vs. King Bookah:
From what I've heard, it will go on last. Not happy about it at all, but Batista gets the win. Probably have the same bland, crappy match as their others.
Benoit vs. Chavo:
Should be a good to great match if given enough time, although I don't see that happening. The stupid story takes away from this.
Kennedy vs. Taker:
Should be slightly better than last time with the stip. Might not be though, considering Taker's bad rib injury. Kennedy should go over here.
Mickie vs. Lita:
I'll echo everyone else in thinking that Edge perhaps turns on Lita. Mickie leaves with the title.
