ECW really isn't on the map again.WWE is just pissing on it's grave is all.:(

If the world heavyweight title goes to SD!,I wonder if HHH would too.I mean,I know he'd do anything for the heavyweight title, but there's more guys on there who have that ''stroke'' backstage (Undertaker,JBL,Holly, etc.) who probably wouldn't put up with HHH's crap.I really wonder what's gonna happen now.

I am also curious to see what's going to become of the titles. Since you have Cena AND Batista on the same show. I would like to see them unify the titles and then have a Cena VS Batista match on RAW to decide who is the better champion. On Smackdown they could use the old WWE title and do a tournament type deal to decide who becomes their champion....ship HHH over to SD!

Actually I wish they'd end the roster split....I've never been a fan of it so I would be in total favor of just ending it.

Smackdown Spoilers:

Teddy Long says the title picture will be decided after the Draft since Cena is now on RAW. Chris Benoit is Smackdown's draft pick; Carlito def. Haas; Booker T def. Kurt Angle; Chris Benoit and JBL ended in a no contest after interference from the ECW stars (including Tazz)

Sounds like a decent show, but where the hell are the matches? Come on...3 matches? This is supposed to be a wrestling show! Blah...

there's not enough strong heels on Raw without HHH to run the show

thus Kurt should go to RAW

That's why I say, if anything, Batista might be the one to go to Smackdown. Smackdown needs a monster face to carry the show, and Batista might get it and he might get a decent title run without Triple H getting in the way constantly.

There are very few people who can carry a struggling show like Smackdown on their own. Batista isn't one of them. I don't even think the acquisition of Benoit would help much. If the rumors of HBK moving to Smackdown are true then the guy should give the show a boost, but there's only so much he can do (especially at his age.) Jericho might be able to help, but then again I thought the same a few years ago when I found out Booker T and RVD were off to Smackdown. We all know that move hasn't really payed off.

Some don't want to know yet that's why I edited the quote ;) I think it is a good move and about the two champs one show have HHH get drafted then beat Batista and take that belt with him then as someone said the wcw belts would be on one show and the wwe belts on one show. Personally I'd like to see a HHH-Bradshaw feud

But if Batista were to go to Smackdown as the World's Champion, it might give him a good chance to maybe prove that he could be a viable main eventer. Just imagine him fighting Kurt Angle or JBL or Eddie Guerrero in feuds. Just as long as Batista or Benoit are used right on Smackdown, they could help to make the show a bit better. That was the problem with Booker T and RVD, they just weren't utilized properly. I initially thought Booker T could've made a good heel main-eventer on the show, but they scrapped that after a week to start up a Guerrero-JBL feud. And RVD? They just didn't do anything with him as soon as he came on Smackdown....

The Sharpshooter was his main finisher, starting from when he feuded with Bret. But he was also partial to the spinning heel kick, and the piledriver that crippled Steve Austin.

As Blue Blazer his finisher was a 2nd rope moonsault. He also did a great plancha, except he'd dive through the space between the second and top rope instead of just vaulting over the top.

To me the Undertaker is only around when Smackdown ratings start dropping, The Undertaker is just a ratings boost. Don't get me wrong I like the Dead Man, I cheer for him all the time, but he is getting old and he has a family now. He moved into the same postion as The Rock, when ever the ratings drop below a certain number Vince calls up The Rock and has him come in on either Raw or Smackdown (mostly Raw) to boost the ratings up Rock would make 2 or 3 shows and a PPV event and then go back to what ever he was doing. I believe the Undertaker is doing the same.

I don't know if this was posted or not, but it appears the WWE was upset with what happened in Canada during Raw. I got this article from Chris Jericho's Message board, apparently they're upset because Canadian fans feel the same way as we do.

'Bizarro' reactions bemuse the WWE

By TJ MADIGAN - Calgary Sun

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The WWE stars were back on the road in West Virginia last night, ending a week-long jaunt in Western Canada that included a live Monday Night Raw broadcast from the Saddledome.

As is often the case after Canadian events, a lot of the talk coming out of the tour revolved around the crowd reactions, which were anything but what the WWE writers expected.

Take the Calgary Raw show, for example.

When Victoria attacked a group of diva-search contestants during the bikini contest, her efforts to turn heel were greeted with rousing cheers.

Chris Jericho was one of the most popular wrestlers of the night, even though he ragged on Calgary during the commercial break to turn the crowd against him.

During Triple H's intense backstage promo, the production team had to mute the audience microphones to drown out the 'boring' chants. And during some of the slower matches, the entire arena joined in a hilarious chant of "Taber corn!"

As a way to explain the audiences' behaviour, WWE often refers to Canada as Bizarro World but the truth is the fans here are just tougher to manipulate.

In most markets, wrestling crowds go along with the storylines like lemmings. They cheer the good guys, boo the bad guys and make some noise when prompted.

Canadian fans, especially in cities with a rich wrestling heritage such as Calgary or Toronto, are more critical of the product, as Eric Bischoff recently explained to the Sun.

"The fans are a different breed," Bischoff said. "Because of the legacy (in Calgary), they are much more knowledgeable and, therefore, demanding. Everybody has to be at the top of their game because if they're not, the crowd will react accordingly."

And react accordingly, they did.

Victoria got cheered because she was an established and talented wrestler who beat up a bunch of generic Barbie dolls.

Chris Jericho couldn't get the crowd against him because he's one of the best in-ring workers in the business.

Triple H's interview got a 'boring' chant simply because it was excruciatingly dull.

And as for "Taber corn!" well, if you leave the crowd with nothing interesting to watch, they'll find ways to amuse themselves.

Favouring better wrestlers and refusing to watch rubbish isn't a case of an audience going against the grain.

It's common sense and something WWE would be well advised to remember next time it comes to town.

back when I was in 7th-8th grade, when Hart was doing his last stint in the WWF with the Hart Foundation that consisted of him, Owen, Bulldog, The Anvil, and Brian Pillman, I started to allign myself with Canadian wrestling. My older brother and I would always jokingly refer to ourselves as Canadians who were unfortunately relocated to the US, telling stories about the "good ol' days" back when we used to visit Stu Hart's dungeon for training. We refered to the lemming WWF fans as "American hyenas" or whatever insult Bret Hart was using that week. Man, I love Bret Hart.

You know how Vince says that no one is exempt, I don't believe him. Think about it if JR gets drafted to Smackdown then you have three guys doing the match on Smackdown, Raw hoping to draft either Tazz or Cole, and what is they dont get drafted. So Raw will be left with The King and Coach?? While Smackdown has Tazz, Cole, and JR. I believe that King, JR, Cole, and Tazz are exempt from this draft

I don't think that Triple H should go to Smackdown. He would have no one to fued with. I mean yea you have JBL, Beniot, Eddie, Taker, and maybe the Big Show but everyone but Benoit could get drafted.

I'm hoping it's Charlie Haas, or Renee Dupree.

Haas can initially start up teaming with Benjamin, then turn on him in Vengeance. This will then give Hassan (if him and Benjamin do fight in the PPV) the IC title, while starting up a Haas-Benjamin feud.

Dupree can reform the original La Resistance with Grenier which then allows Conway to break out for himself as a singles contender. He could even try and "gain redemption" by feuding with Hassan.

Yeah, those two are minor additions to the Raw roster. But if done properly, they could help out the midcard a bit....

POSSIBLE ECW SPOILERS

The following notes pertraining to tonight's "ECW One Night Stand" PPV are from Dave Meltzer:

- Rob Van Dam will cut a long promo to prove he can cut it to WWE management. As previously reported, he's also expected to get physically involved at some point in the night.

- Lance Storm's bout with Chris Jericho tonight will be his retirement match. Staying on this match, Storm's valet Dawn Marie is likely to get some "interesting" chants.

- Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero is rumored to be a Japanese classic style match.

- Tommy Dreamer & The Sandman vs. The Dudley Boyz is likely to be a brutal bloodbath involving tables, chairs, ladders, interference and numerous surprises.

- Tazz is likely to choke out Kurt Angle.

- Al Snow will be bringing Head to the PPV.

- There is expected to be one surprise match on the PPV, and it may feature Kid Kash.

Really, a Haas-Benjamin feud really doesn't need the IC title to gain any heat. As I suggested before, have Haas move to Raw, initially support Benjamin, then cost Benjamin the IC title saying he's sick and tired of Benjamin getting all this glory while he was stuck on Velocity for the better part of the year. That starts up an instant feud right there.

That time on the Hilight Reel was in Canada though, where even Christian got a huge face pop. All Jericho has to do to get more boos is to rip into the wrestling fans a bit more. That honestly can make any wrestler into a heel.

JBL yelled at RVD from the balcony, and RVD got into the ring, and Bradshaw’s mic died. RVD said this is awesome, and asked Fonzy if he remembers all this. The fans chanted RVD and they gave each other a high five. Rob said it sucks bad enough that they are here sucking up credit they have nothing to do with. He told them to shut their mouths, and RVD said tonight will be one of the biggest PPV’s all year, because these people are sick of people like them every time they want to watch wrestling. Tonight, they get to see what they want to see, and that is ECW! Rob said they deserve zero credit for tonight’s success, the office might be blind to it and RVD doesn’t have a script tonight and he’s going to be shooting from the heart. He said he is going to take us back to a time when he had a voice, before he was scripted to just say “cool” and “whatever”. He remembers when the people would chant his name all show long, but he didn’t sweat it because he had the ability to come out and showcase his skills and make sure everyone went home happy. Rob said as long as he got the chance to do his part is all that matters because he’s the whole FN show, Mr. PPV, Mr. Monday Night. Remember what RVD 420 means? I just smoked your ass!

Rob said it was the best time of his career, and that was how you showcased RVD. Rob said he understands, and this is why he went to Vince and came up with the idea of the ECW PPV. He said you don’t even have to turn the lights on for the whole building, and he wanted a chance to show what they were all about. He said Vince liked his idea, and here we are. Rob is really pumped up by this point. He says he had to get this knee surgery for a torn ACL and meniscus, and he can’t wrestle and it sucks worse than anything. He said it’s worse than missing nay tour even missing WrestleMania. He said this is what it is all about, and then Rhyno hit the ring and gored the hell out of RVD! Rhyno kicked at the leg of Rob and then the lights went out! They came back on and Sabu is in the ring and we have a match!

----------

Mick Foley and Joey Styles talk about the show, and then the ECW music hits in the arena and out came Bob Ortiz, followed by Paul Heyman in trademark trench coat and baseball cap. Heyman made his way down the aisle and got in the ring and bowed to the fans for how great they are. Heyman is teary eyed as they chanted “Thank You Paul” at him. Heyman got on the mic and said he’s not crying, his eyes are red because he was smoking a joint in the back with Van Dam! He said he wants to thank Todd Gordon for giving him a chance, he needs to thanks Ron Buffone who is sitting front row. He pointed out some of the fans at ringside and said they are some of the craziest bastards he has met in his life, and he loves every one of them. He said he was going to take the high road and just say thank you and leave, but he has something to say to them! He said he has waited a long time to say this to Eric Bischoff, but in case you don’t notice, it’s not Paul Heyman with his tail between his legs going to a WCW PPV, Bischoff is in their house, *****! Heyman said wait a minute, hide your wives, it’s Edge! A “you screwed Matt” chant started and Heyman said no one has the balls to say this to him, but he has two words to say to him, Matt Freakin Hardy! Heyman said he almost forgot about Mr. Shoot Promo himself. Hey John, on a personal note, since he wants to shoot cowboy, the only reason he was WWE Champion for a year is because Triple H didn’t want to work Tuesdays! JBL pretended to have a heart attack at the statement, and Heyman said this ain’t WCW, this ain’t RAW, Smackdown or WWE, this my friends is E C f***in W!

I mean every matach were the highlights of the night. Nothing slow at all. It was just great from the getgo and the nostalgia coming from this show was immense. It was great to see alot of the guys like Al Snow and Nova back in their old characters. Sandman looks pretty much like Marv from Sin City now but I find that cool. Mike Awesome's back in all his glory, Tommy Dreamer, RVD, Mysterio, Benoit, Guerro, Tajiri, Rhino, Nunzio. It was just great to see all these guys back as they should be. Plus we had guys like Psicosis back in there, Justin Credible, the BWO, Sabu. PLUS the WWE got their asses handed to em. Just an awesome, awesome, pay per view.:D

You know what would be a good storyline/feud between Haas and Shelton. Not Charlie going to Raw but Shelton comes to Smackdown. Put it like this

Smackdown's newest pick Shelton Benjamin the IC champ.
Cut to locker room and see Haas walk in and going to talk to Benjamin, Shelton says something like hey what's up I haven't seen you on Smackdown in a while. Shelton picks up his title belt and tells Haas that he has been busy since winning this in October.
This could go on for a couple of weeks (until HQ figures out what to do with the championships)
Haas could be jealous of Benjamin's success and the fact that Benjamin is getting more show time on Smackdown.
What would really draw the line is if Charlie convinced Teddy Long to have him and Shelton team up again to take on MNM for the Tag titles and lose cause Shelton was knocked out of the ring (or any reason why shelton couldn't help out charle) then Haas snaps on Benjamin

Oh, and it's been said in ECW One Night Stand, during the huge brawl at the end, JBL purposely targetted Blue Meanie due to previous heat with him. JBL opened up stitches that Blue Meanie had from Hardcore Heaven the previous night, busting him wide open. And this was a totally unplanned event that shocked a lot of the ECW locker room.

Here's Blue Meanie's comments on the entire thing:

The Meanie tells all.

What turned out to be a beautiful weekend came to end on a sour note. I guess by now you all know what happened last night between Bradshaw and myself. It's no secret that Bradshaw never liked me from my first day in the WWE to my last. What I did to the guy to piss him off I don't know but then maybe I never needed to know. Bradshaw has always had the rep of being a bully and a liberty taker in the ring and he also has a rep of getting away with it.

Once the ECW/WWE brawl started I paired of with Coach and I felt a punch come from out of nowhere. My first instinct was to hit back BUT I also had the issue of trying to protect the 14 staples I have in my head. I got some rib shots in the best I could but he got the upper hand with going to my face, opening a fresh wound on my forehead and swelling my eye.

All I saw was red as the blood fill me eyes and I believe it was Maven I pulled on top of me to get him to "choke" me. After he got cleared out guys came up to check on me and we went on the other deal with Austin and Bischoff and the big post brawl party in the ring. As F***ed up as what Bradshaw did, the crowd reaction had me so buzzed that I didn’t feel anything.

I got to the back and Bradshaw was in a part of the gorilla position. He came over like he was going to do something else but people got in between. He was yelling about me talking about him on the Internet. The rest of what he said I didn’t hear cause I was too busy saying, “Yo, it’s a work!” and “Dude, the business is a F***in work!!” So I did the best thing anyone could ever do in the situation and just walked away.

I got stitched up and said my good byes. A lot of the guys were pissed and asked what happened. When I told them they were pissed even more. We got home and all I have been doing is popping Aleve and icing my face and reflecting. All this happened over was me calling him a bully. Well John……… you just proved me right.

In closing I want to say thank you to everyone who ran Hardcore Homecoming Friday night. I wanna say thank you to the WWE for giving EC Dub an opportunity to shine last night. I wanna say to the rest of the WWE workers and staff a big thank you for the hospitality. It was great catching up with all of you. To my EC Dub brothers and sisters I wanna say I love you. I was in heaven seeing all of you this weekend and doing it one more time. To the fans I wanna say I love you because with out the fans we wouldn’t have been anywhere without you this past weekend. I will be going back to icing my face and ponder if I will be wrestling on this weekends 3PW show. I will probably pull off of it so I can properly heal these stitches and staples. Plus we all know chicks dig scars.

I love you all!!

Batista can replace Cena

Cena is better off on Raw

before anyone says it, they need Eddie and Rey because they are Mexican and the show is on UPN (obvious)

and before anyone says this, they need cruisers because Smackdown is the only show that can give us CW action properly (RVD, Tajiri, and Hurricane and Rey (somewhat) are exceptions, because they can wrestle well with non CW wrestlers)

They do not need Angle, as he can be replaced with someone from Raw as a second banana heel (to JBL) and he just got off the MOST RETARDED ANGLE EVER

It seems like the past three draft picks have been rather huge ones (Cena, Angle, and Benoit), I really expect the one on Thursday to be big as well. The problem is, I really don't know who. Most of the wrestlers on Raw are now involved in a huge angle of some kind - Edge is feuding with Kane and is to marry Lita on Raw next week, Christian and Jericho are fighting for the title (**** yeah!!!), Shawn Michaels is fighting Kurt Angle in Vengeance, Shelton Benjamin is still in a feud with Hassan.

It's totally up in the air to be honest.... :(
