well I guess it's only a matter of time before Triple H takes Cena's belt from him.
Maybe. Or maybe not.
The WWE really does see Cena as being the new Rock, Stone Cold, or Hulk hogan. ie. someone that they can sell a ****load of merchandise and can get insanely over with the crowd. Probably why they had Hulk Hogan be in the match last night. Kind of a pass-over from the old star to the new main-event star for the WWE.
I'm hoping that the WWE decides to think smart and have the feud, but maybe let Cena go over. I'm not saying it's gonna happen, but it's something that I hope might happen.....
RVD is a main eventer as far as I'm concerned. But for raw I see this: Even though HHH lost at wrestlemania, backlash, the first round of the gold rush tournament and to batista again at vengeance, somehow he wil be the number 1 contender for cena's title. John Cena sya goodbye to your championship. I'd like to see shelton get a title shot myself he just needs to develophis mic skills.

But Cena is different from the other wrestlers that Triple H has buried. When you have Linda McMahon, the CEO of the WWE, say herself that she sees John Cena as being a wrestler in which they can sell a ****load of WWE products, you honestly think they're going to try and bury him like the other talent?
Honestly, I think Cena is here to stay.....

Although the WWE draft lottery has come to a close, there are still plans for a few roster trades. As per the "rules" of the draft, all trading must be completed by midnight on Thursday.
As of this writing, the backstage word was that a few lowercard names would be moved via the trade clause.
It is not known if WWE will announce the trades via a cut-in during SmackDown, on the WWE website or during next Monday's RAW. Stay tuned for further updates.

Here is some information of the ECW One Night Stand DVD, courtesy of Jeremy Hirsch:
I got the ECW ONS DVD already, here are some notes.
The Dudley's Drop the Bombshell was changed to their WWE Theme they used prior to that.
Sandman does not get his Metallica theme, instead some Generic wordless knockoff.
The Danny Doring/Roadkill segment was just plain old cut out the show. Didn't even see it on the extras.
I think Taz's theme also seemed changed.
Watching the big brawl at the end, JBL indeed did nail Meanie with a cheap shot. He was not even Focused on Bradshaw. JBL went straight up behind and after blowing off whoever tried to fight and went after Meanie.
And finally yes, They did bleep out the F***k's!

I think Cena is here to stay as well and I like that, but he'll feud with HHH sooner or later. And I just don't want him to lose the title to HHH. God willing HHH will feud with Angle and stay away from the title at least for now. And Cena can feud with Jericho.

Yeah, there's no doubt he'll feud with Triple H eventually. But I'm hoping that maybe, just maybe Cena will go over in that feud. And I have a feeling that might happen.....but then again I could be totally wrong and Triple H will just go over Cena easily. But if that happens, the WWE might have to find a whole new merchandise whore

Oh god....:(
This week's WWE RAW rating climbed to a very solid 4.4 rating. The anticipation for the final draft picks and the interest in post-Vengeance storylines were the big factors behind the surge.
However, the highest rated segment of the night will likely come as a surprise to a number of readers. With a 4.7 quarter, the debut of the RAW Diva Search tied the main-event for the night's top mark. WWE will definitely see this as a blessing to continue pushing the "reality" competition.
The night's lowest quarter was a 3.7.

Of course. It was Ego H's plan all along, since it was reported him and Cena don't get along backstage at all and degraded Cena by saying he's not a leader. I guess Ego H is going to show him who's boss.

Stone Cold plays a huge role at the end of One Night Stand, coming out after the final match. He talks for a second, then calls out all the ECW guys from the back to the ring. When all the ECW guys get there, he starts talking crap to the WWE "crusaders," eventually getting them to come to the ring, where the brawl takes place. He then gets Mick Foley to bring Eric Bischoff to the ring, where they beat him up, too, including the "middle finger-stunner." Then all the ECW guys get a beer and celebrate together in the ring.

Knowing the WWE they'd probably make Kane fall to the Masterlock. They're smart like that you know.
And you know what's sad? I've seen many wrestlers get out of the masterlock before, but if I were a writer I'd have Kurt Angle or Batista come out to accept the challenge.
And he has wrestled, but they're mostly short squash matches anyways.

Boring entrance
Insert jobber squash wrestler entrance.

I saw him in a dark match about 3 weeks before his debut when I went to a Raw episode. The crowd yelled boring & Masters got his ass pretty much booed out of his own match. I could tell it was suppossed to be longer but they had to finish after like 4 minutes because no one cared. I was really pissed about it because usually pre-Raw dark matches usually have pretty established names just having tryouts or just promting themselves because they are from that area. So last year Raw came down & I saw a match with Norman Smiley & the place exploded. January I go again & I see Chris Masters in a horrible crappy match... even though I was told the dark matcj was with New Jack & I practiclly came all over myself when I heard that only to find out that it was an empty arena dark match to tryout for executive types... And that's the story on how Chris Masters ruined my wrestling expirence before I knew or cared who he was... Ok... I never cared, even now.
Also, I try to go on PWInsider & it won't go passed the home page. I can read up on stuff from there on my phone but when I go on my acuall computer it doesn't work. It just has the same thing can someone explain this for me?

Triple H- that will never happen, unless he and Stephanie get a divorce and ended on BAD terms.
Ric Flair- I think Flair can write his own ticket and will be around as long as he wants, plus he and Triple H are best buddies WoOoOoOoOo! Plus he is THE MAN!
Eric Bischoff- Another guy I don't really see going anywhere, the fans hate him and he is a great heel character.
Edge & Lita- would love to see the both of them go. Can't stand them! And they offer nothing.

Chris Masters- *YAWN* what were you saying about *YAWN* him?

Last night was in one of those moods where I decided Just for the hell of it, to just watch wrestling. No analysing, just get into like a kid again (Granted Smackdown wasn't the best choice for that but whatever I was just in that mood) & while I was watching the segment with Melina & thought "I actually feel bad for them, It's almost as if they really believe these people are coming to see them." I forgot for a second that they were just acting poorly & thought "Wow! They really think people like Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton & Jessica Simpson actually give a **** about wrestling." Then I snapped out of it & realised that it was not only just a gimmick but a very bad one at that. (no real purpose I just thought I would share an amusing anecdote)
Also, I think the whole with Eddie is not only dumb but kind of predictable. I mean it's obvious they're not going with a molestation angle because 1. they would lose every sponsor they have & at this time when they are about to lose 10,000,000$ that isn't a smart move. 2. It wouldn't make sence if Eddie is refering to "the truth" about Eddie & Rey angle that is also around. So my prediction is that (bare with me it may get complicated) Eddie tells a story about how Rey is always taking things from him. & then says that a long time ago when Eddie's wife divorced him (correct me if I am wrong but during his drug problem his wife divorced him & they got back together.) He had a fling with Rey's now wife & Dominique is actually Eddie's son. I know this is a horrible story but tell me that they won't go that route. Honestly I think a better way to do this is to rewind & when Eddie was being interviewed about why he was smiling have him act totally different than we've seen over the past month or so. Have him be like "Because Rey is familia & I'm just proud of him holmes. Can't a gy be proud that his friend got the upper hand holmes. O' dely vato loco essay." & then they turn the disgruntled sociopath Eddie into the split personality Eddie.

So now I guess the WWE championship belt is the #1 belt in the company since Batista has been moved to Smackdown, and Cena is on RAW.
It's about time though. Now all of the WWE titles are on one show while the WCW titles are on another show :)
And Cena's came directly from the undisputed title, and the WCW belt was brought back by Bishoff and just given to HHH :(

I honestly don't know why they flip-flopped Dupree and Grenier. They should've moved Conway to SD instead and restarted the original La Resistance.
I'm also hoping with the move, they at least dump the Simon Dean gimmick, turn him back to Nova and reform the bWo. And hopefully they'll team up Kenzo Suzuki and Tajiri into a new Japanese tag team. Those are the only two things I want to see come out of this trade.

Absolutely no idea. They could've traded away 11 other wrestlers that would've made a bigger impact if traded.
Seriously, they must've been on drugs or something when they decided to go ahead with this trade. Why trade Chavo when he could do much more in the CW division? Why not just move Rey to Raw? Why move Grenier when the "feud" between him and Conway isn't finished yet?

Jindrak, Chavo & Kenzo arn't talentless. Granted watching a Jindrak singles match is as entertaning as a bag of rocks. That doesn't mean he has no ability; & I think Kenzo is the ****. Heyman To TNA?; TNA Name-Change, Another SpikeTV Update
Story By: Matthew Boone
Credit: PWTorch.com
There has been some people both in TNA and inside the cable
industry suggesting that a name change take place with the
company before signing a deal with Spike TV. Many feel those
in the advertising industry will get scared away by the
"TNA" name given its rather obvious sound when saying it out
loud. However, it should be noted that it would be a rather
long process trademark wise to change everything and could
be a hassle they don't want to deal with. Again, this is
just a rumor so take it for what it is worth.
If TNA does end up signing a TV deal with Spike TV to start
this October, it doesn't appear Spike has any plans to
promote the show at this time during WWE programming, or
more specifically during RAW. This could change once an
announcement is made between both parties. With WWE
programming leaving at the end of September, Spike will
continue to push other top shows on the network such as the
CSI series and season two of The Ultimate Fighter series.
It is interesting to note that Paul Heyman has not signed a
new deal with WWE and his future with the company appears to
be in doubt. TNA's Dixie Carter is aware of who Heyman is,
despite her somewhat lack of knowledge in the wrestling
business, and understands how Heyman was able to take a
promotion with little to no money and make it into one of
the "big three" promotions at one time being ECW. Heyman
did make a comment on the WWE.com Byte This program a few
days before the ECW One Night Stand PPV that he would like
to explore other options outside of WWE and noted that
"this place could use some competition."

Yeah, I thought so too. Most of the people in the trade baffle me. Like why is Chavo on Raw now? What can he do on that show? He would've been better off sticking around on SD and teaming up with London to fight the Mexicools....
I think that Smackdown should have all the cruiserweight on it. Move The Hurricane & Tajiri there and it will definately help the CW title. But Vince's ego won't allow it.
I agree Chavo really has nothing to offer on Raw. Who is he going to fight? Or better yet get beat by each and every week? Kane? HHH? Snitsky? The Big Show?
Maybe he can be put into a good program with Shelton or Chris Jericho
I mentioned awhile back that I wanted a Chavo/Shelton feud I'm glad he's on Raw.

Lesnar was a pretty good athlete in the ring, especially for a big guy (he did cripple Bob Holly once, but so did Kurt Angle. To paraphrase Marge Simpson: "It's just a $50 fine now!". Very few workers could carry Bill Goldberg to a decent-looking match. I don't think even Chris Benoit could get a good match from Goldberg.
If Lesnar and Batista get into the ring together, they could sponge the mat and get enough steroids from the sweat to power a train.

Yeah, but that's because the WWE were building up Lesner to be the number 1 heel on that show, then he up and left for the NFL right then. It also didn't help that Angle was injured at the time and JBL was just starting off as their main heel.
That's probably why Lesner was a bit afraid to return to the WWE after being released by the Vikings, the WWE might hold a grudge against him. But because he has that no-compete clause in his contract until like 2010, it's not like he has a choice anymore....

the lack of faces is gonna kill the show

Hopefully they'll let him continue his feud with Jericho. HHH lost to batista 3 times and lost to Benoit in the gold rush tournament, I wonder what the rationale behind making him #1 contender for Cena's belt wil be? I didn't see HBK turning either. But it's a breath of fresh air. It will probably be something like HBK is the show stopper and doesn't play second fiddle to anybody even a Hulk Hogan. Besides it will make for a must see match up when they finally battle it out at the next PPV...do they still do Summer Slam? Or has that come and gone already?

HBK's Heel turn didn't make any sense at all...
The Ghoul
07-05-2005, 12:00 AM
Raw was a series of up & downs. HBK's heel turn was very surprising considering that he turned the idea down a month ago because he didn't want to tarnish his born again image. I did notice that right when he kicked Hogan there were a couple of "You screwed Bret" chants. So I guess that Canada & Florida are the only places that do when he is face, but as soon as he turns heel everyone else jumps right on it. Leave it to Sgt. Slaughter to make a horrible 10-15 minutes & turn it into something just slightly below average. They should make them do more athletic stuff. Maybe we can actually get someone to wrestle before 6 months into their "God I am so ****ing lucky to have this" job. What the hell is up with Rene Dupree's Mick Mars mustache? Also during his promo his accent fell a little. Is he really French & just kinda slured causing him to sound different? Or is he not French & they are just going with it?

Chavo is not really the Hassan of Raw. He's more like the new Akeem/One Man Gang of Raw.

I honestly think they are not going with a molestation angle. They would lose any sponser Smackdown had & they are going to lose 10,000,000$ real soon. There is no way Vince can look at this, look at the ratings, look at the budget & think that this story will save smackdown. Even Vince is not this dumb to let this go by. I posted my prediction a couple pages back, even though it is still a bad story I think closest to what it really is. I said that "the truth" that Eddie is talking about is that he is Domonique's real dad. A molestation angle has nothing to do with some secret that Rey & Eddie share. Nobdy has talked about "the truth" aspect of the story except me. telling Domonique "the truth" would make no sence if he was touching him.
John Constantine

The Ghoul
07-05-2005, 01:02 AM
Yeah, but turning one of their most recognizable & popular talents into a pedophile is a lot different than turning a mid-carder into different race for 2, 3 months tops. Even if this angle ends in a couple of weeks, it would be something that sticks with him for a while.
John Constantine
07-05-2005, 01:27 AM
Yeah, I kinda doubt Eddie's a pedophile as well. I still don't like the "twist" that they added to this whole feud. They should've just finished the feud with Rey beating Eddie two weeks ago on Smackdown. Then have Rey beat OJ for the US title and have him be the focal point for that title and have Eddie work his way back to the main event picture.
But what do I know? I'm just a wrestling fan....

Damn,WWE's full of suprises this week.
SD! Spoilers:
Chris Benoit beat Booker T by submission in a # 1 Contenders match for the US Championship. A pretty good back and forth match that saw Booker T tap out to the Crippler Crossface.
Steven Richards interfered with that match with meanie and Jbl and busted JBL open with a chair, then Batista costs him the matcha nd Meanie wins.Eddie has a match against MNM and needs a partner,so he asks Rey and if Rey refuses,Eddie will tell the secret.MNM win after a snapshot on Rey.
Undertaker will face Hassan for No.1 contender for the World Title at Great American Bash.Daivari has a match with Undertaker tonight, and Undertaker won. After his match,Hassan got on his knees and five men wearing black ski masks, black long sleeve shirts and tan cargo pants with camouflage stripes attacked the Undertaker. One hit him with a stick and then they took a wire and choked him out. Hassan entered the ring and applied the camel clutch before leaving.
Batista pinned Christian following a Batista Bomb. A good match that saw both men dominate at points. Christian gained the upper hand for quite some time before Batista exploded with a running powerslam and eventually hit a spinebuster and the sit out powerbomb.

That's the point. it's for people who chose to read otherwise some people might get pissed for revealing information they may want to wait for instead being told before hand. Anyway, it seems like the draft is helping Smackdown! more than Raw. It seems that the matches this week are very good & make me actually want to watch instead of just watching it out of habit. I got to thinking though, if the bWo is on Smackdown! this week & they scrapped Simon Dean & made him Nova again & Stevie & Nova have been traded to Smackdown!... was the Meanie/JBL thing all a work. I want to say no, because of how long I have been a Meanie fan, but you never know. Also is this a one time thing or is the bWo here to stay?

I really hope the bWo is here to stay. They kinda match the blue ropes SD has ;) Besides, what else can Nova or Stevie Richards do anyways. The bWo might give them something to do and provide a bit of entertainment. I know I'll be waching SD this week just to see them. And as for Meanie/JBL, I don't think it was a work, I think it was just the WWE taking advantage of a real-life situation ala the Lita-Edge thing

Triple H has not appeared on RAW for the past two weeks. The plan right now is to have Edge vs. John Cena at SummerSlam and then bring back Triple H for an angle with John Cena. The plan as of right now, is to hopefully have Triple H help out John Cena in the same way that he did with Batista.
^^ Im not wasting money on that crap:down

07-05-2005, 05:44 PM
I liked it because it was totally unexpected. Plus, HBK as a heel means that he might fight other face wrestlers - just imagine him in a full-on feud with Shelton Benjamin, or if they actually decide to go ahead with a RVD-HBK ladder match like Shawn wanted in the first place. I liked him as a face, but honestly, who else could he fight on Raw as a face?
Triple H-Cena might be interesting if they had Cena go over. Which I could see happening because the WWE really wants him to be the new Hulk Hogan/Steve Austin/Rock. And that's basically what they're trying to do with Cena. The WWE's always had a John Cena, if he's gone, they'll just find another OVW wrestler to whore out all their products....

I said that earlier. I know they have always done it in Canada & when Raw came to my town in Florida back in January a couple people in the front row (myself & my friend Max included) were chanting it. It was during a promo with him & Edge & while he was talking he got interupted by 8 or 9 of us in the front row screaming "You screwed Bret." & he said to Edge "looks like some of your Canadian reletives are here to see you." I thought it was funny.
