They have very identical looks, not to mention muscular builds. Also, pretty much the same style. Though I say discount version because Lashley lacks both the attitude and intensity of both Brown and Lesnar.

That's really not true. He's always near the top of the card and always gets put over guys he should not be beating. He's already done everything there is to do anyway.

Plus he's kind of old. So if they built a whole show around him it would hurt them if he ever had to suddenly retire. He already pretty much came back from one career ending injury and ended up staying longer and more than anyone expected.

The only person on the roster they're pushing too fast is Masters.No one else. They're doing the right thing with Lashley and Kennedy. Building them up slowly,mainly in the mid card,to get them over.


I don't know why Lashley is catching so much flak lately. Couple of months ago I thought everyone agreed he was one of the better acquistions of WWE.:confused: ;)

I actually don't see any similarities bewteen Monty Brown and Bobby Lashley other than their skin color. I don't think we'll be able to compare Lashley to anybody until he gets a few more matches under his belt(at least more than 10). As of right now, I could see him as champ because he hasn't done anything credible yet so anything's possible. The Masterpice on the otherhand, has proven to the world that he's not ready for any belt anytime soon. Shame too, he's really well put together and would work a cocky heel angle really well...if he could act.

Monty Brown has gotten better over the past year or so, and I think he is working his way towards a major push and title run here real soon, I wouldn't be surprised to see the world title around his waist sometime in 2006.

I caught the tail end of TNA last night, and was it me or did it seem that nobody, and I really mean nobody was getting into that orange clock house of whatever match with The Diamonds in the Rough vs Raven? It was really quiet in the Impact Zone, you could hear a pin drop the fans didn't seem into the match at all, and watching from home I was bored as well, even when Raven's stooge came in there was a little buzz, but not much at all...

Ken Kennedy's injury is very serious. he tore the lat in his back on the recent overseas tour. Kennedy tried to work through it, but the injury was much too overbearing. Surgery is scheduled later this week and he will be out of action for at least six months.

Smackdown is pretty much Diva Doom. Whenever a diva from RAW goes to Smackdown she either gets released or they end up never having anything for them to do, especially being that all the divas that actually CAN wrestle are on RAWwhere the title is. But hey, since Christy is gone it probably won't be long until they get Beth Phoenix and Shelly Martinez.

None of the matches were interesting. Fatal 4-Way tag match was a squash, Cade vs Chavo was sloppy, HHH vs Tajiri was a bore and Benjamin/HBK vs Carlito/Angle was alright; only serving to give Shelton some character finally. Then we were stuck with the Trial and the Cutting Edge which took up most of RAW. Boogeyman was the only thing that interested me tonight and that's sad.

I agree with you 110% There was nothing special or exciting about Raw at all last night. It was rather boring, I taped it and I found myself fast forwarded through most of it.

Kane/Big Show was entertaining, that triple chokeslam was great, but I am bias because I think Kane/Big Show should be tearing through the WWE anyway, because seriously who can stop these two together? Certainly not Batista and Rey Mysterio. I can't wait for Big Show to squash HHH.

The Trial and The Cutting Edge were waaaaaaaaay toooooooo looooooong. And what the hell is wrong with the WWE these days anyway? I mean they in my eyes anyway disrespected RIP Eddie Guerro last week with the entire Low Rider skit, and then during the Chavo vs Lance Cade match you could hear Cade saying stuff like where's Eddie now? That is low and shouldn't be allowed. And getting back to The Cutting Edge you have Edge asking Michael PS Hayes where his buddy Terry Gordy is, and then Edge responds with oh ya he's DEAD! That is not cool at all, the WWE is getting really bad with the lack of respect towards the deceased.

HHH/Steph introduction, what was that all about? And they stood there saying nothing for about a minute or two and then the RAW goes to a commercial break, jeez that was dumb.


John Cena bores me as well, he comes out with the same rap every week, sure it has been done with other superstars ala Hulk Hogan, The Rock, or Stone Cold, but they had something about them that made it fun, perhaps it might be the fact that I resent John Cena because he is a world champion too soon and hasn't put in his dues, I look at RAW and say to myself Kurt Angle should be the world champion, he is the best in the world right now, has charisma, and would be better off as the Champion.

The Dark Shadow sent this in: In Houston, TX, Direct TV made a promo about the New Year's Revolution pay-per-view and the Elimination Chamber will make a return for the WWE Championship featuring John Cena (c), Kurt Angle, Carlito, Kane, Big Show, and Edge. Just thought I should pass it on.

Franklin Warren also sent this in: Take this for what it's worth, Direct TV ran a commercial last night for New Year's Revolution spotlighting the Elimination Chamber. The wrestlers that it showed were Shawn Michaels, HHH, Big Show, Kane, Edge and Kurt Angle.

Looks like there are some conflicting commercials being run about the upcoming PPV on January 8, 2006. We do know that the WWE Championship will be defended in an Elimination Chamber however as that was officially announced by Vince McMahon last night on Monday Night RAW.

His public safety ads that feature Flair telling fans to be respectful and behave during Carolina Panther games has been pulled, they feel it is the right thing to do until Flair is cleared of all charges.

Prototype(Cena) was a monster in his amateur days. He definately shrunk down a bit; in a good way though. His 'roid vein(you know the one on his bicep) went away.

Leviathan(Batista) actually seems to have grown a bit since coming to the WWE. Although he has lost that cluster of veins on his shoulder though.

Those are some interesting pictures. Cena's definitely reduced in size to a more "realistic" stature. That picture just looks ridiculous, but it could be the baby oil overuse he's got going on. They should just do away with the Women's division all together. Nothing against the women in WWE, but the whole division is basically a joke, and everytime a girl poses for Playboy she's released no more than a year later. The whole Trish/Ashley/Micke VS Torrie/Victoria/Candice angle has run it's course and is getting stale fast.

Christy was actual someone who wanted to improve her skills and become a wrestler, so they can her. Meanwhile you've got Torrie, Candice Michelle and some others that basically do nothing except look good (not that I'm against that). I'm sorry but I'd MUCH rather focus on interesting storylines and matches than a dwindeling women's division.

With Eric Bischoff fired as RAW GM, who will be the new GM. I think like alot people think that Shane O Mac will be stepping in or quite possibly Stephanie McMahon, but would anybody be surprised if Mick Foley or Good Ol JR became the new RAW GM?

I still can't believe they removed JR like they did. The man has been the voice of RAW, and essentially the voice of wrestling for so many years and he more than deserved a proper send off, and a farewell to the fans. I would have loved to see him call WM22, and then give a quick "thank you" to the fans...a nice way for him to bow out gracefully instead of this lame ass "fired" gimmick they went with.

Such a shame, it really is.

I watched an old special on OVW and they followed Cena around for a few hours and the vein was right there with him. True, had he just done some reps, it might bulge more but the damn thing acted like it was part of the interview.
