I still can't believe they removed JR like they did. The man has been the voice of RAW, and essentially the voice of wrestling for so many years and he more than deserved a proper send off, and a farewell to the fans. I would have loved to see him call WM22, and then give a quick "thank you" to the fans...a nice way for him to bow out gracefully instead of this lame ass "fired" gimmick they went with.
Such a shame, it really is.
That, along with the crap product they're dishing out, was the final reason I stopped watching RAW. The way JR's last days of announcing were handled were unprofessional and disrespectful. The "fired" angle was another ego trip from Vince and family.

-- The Jake Roberts DVD is still in the #1 spot for sales in the Billboard pro wrestling/MMA rankings.
-- The 3 Minute Warning team of Rosie and Jamal will be reuniting. Jamal was released due to a bar fight he got in, and recently announced his return to WWE at a recent show in Japan. The story going around right now is that WWE will be using Bischoff to manage the team.
-- Word going around is that Dusty Rhodes will be the new RAW general manager, in a role very seminal to what he was doing in TNA.
Also Sonny Siaki has left TNA due to the two sides not coming to a contract agreement, he could possibly be heading to WWE.
I could live with Dusty as GM but the 3MW/Bischoff thing is just another rehash:down

As noted on WWE.com, Tajiri will be backstage at RAW this Monday live from Boston, MA. This will be his last appearance with WWE for now. No word on if he'll appear on Heat or RAW.
As noted here on the site several weeks ago, Tajiri had wanted to spend more time in Japan with his wife. There was apparently a passport issue that was preventing her from entering the U.S. Tajiri was contacted this week by Johnny Ace and the two agreed that it would be best for them to part ways and Tajiri was OK with it. He had just signed a new three year deal.
There are no hard feelings between the two sides and WWE.com noted WWE wishes Tajiri the best in all his future endeavors in their statement on the site which is usually a sign that the agreement was mutual.
Christy Hemme, who was released on Monday, did not receive the same respect from the WWE web team and it is rumored that there were money issues between Christy and WWE. They offered her much less money to stay due to her one year, $250,000 contract being up. Most divas don't make anywhere near that.
As far as Tajiri's status with TNA is concerned, it is way to early to tell right now. He could be brought in as a special attraction type deal similar to that of Jushin Liger. We believe he will simply take some time off for now and we'll see what he does down the road.

The current WWE Women's Championship will now be defended on both brand shows, Raw and SmackDown!. The current idea for this is to freshen things up a little more in the women's division as there is only some many times Trish can face off against Victoria. Also, officials would like to continue the Trish/Melina feud
The roster split ending is looking more and more likely.

Man, when Tajiri and Regal were together those were some of the funniest memories in the WWE. I remember one time when Regal "allowed" Tajiri to do something he had been wanted to do, Tajiri got so excited he started running around speaking in Japanese...he picked up the phone for no reason and shouted his excitement...those were some funny bits.
I thought Tajiri was cool when he had his Japanese clan over on Smackdown. The guy deserved to be the IC champ at least once in his career.

Last week's Taker/Orton segment was the only thing I've found interesting come out of the last year of their feud. I like seeing Taker haunt people like that. Unfortunately, it's the kinda thing that can only be done once every few years so I don't wanna see it again till Taker celebrates his 20th year with the WWE.
I actually enjoyed the Taker/Orton segment. It was fun. Not good, but fun. I thought Orton played his character off very well. I was more disappointed in the crappy vocals Taker supplied to the segment, if anything.

I am a huge mark for The Undertaker, but I have been dissapointed with him ever since his return at WM20. I realize the guy's worked harder than just about anyone for 15 years, and I can understand why he'd want a shorter schedule, but please man, don't waste my time with promos on the tron. The mind games were cool back in the 90's,but they're just corny now.
Another thing is how he holds back talent. There are guys who are there twice as much as Taker, yet when he shows up they automatically become jobbers? Hogan held back Undertaker for a time, but that doesn't give him the right to hold back the future of this business.I really want Orton to go over clean in HIAC,then be on his way to the Heavyweight championship.

that is him at some sort of Holiday gathering put on by George Stienbrenner, it is sad, probably a cross between steriods, drugs, alcohol, his work schedule, and getting no sleep over the many, many years, he has hit the wall... And I remember at some points somebody said he was alot older than Hogan and Flair, so I bet he is in his mid 60's.

As I can recall, he wasn't good friends with either Hogan or Flair, but he REALLY hates Hogan and even challenged him to a shoot fight.
Apparently it involves the late great Miss Elizabeth(RIP). When she was alive it's rumored she had an affair with Hogan, while she was married to Savage and evidently it turned sour afterwards.
I don't believe it to be true though and Hogan still denies it to this very day.

With the photoshopped images of Flair, that was some great stuff, I think Flair vs Savage was a great feud and for some reason Flair vs Hogan never really took off, in my opinion I think Flair vs Savage worked way better than Hogan vs Flair, probably due to the fact that Hogan didn't or couldn't wrestle against a guy as brilliant as Flair...

yeah, Flair-Savage was always great. I think they're personalities just matched up a lot better. Savage was this intense loose cannon type guy, and Flair was this womanizing cocky ******* who really knew how to push the crazy guy's buttons. Hogan was always this heavily gimmick-based super hero, which doesn't really match up with the "classy" Flair heel as well.

And having Bobby Heenan as the manager added to the fire, do you remember if Mr. Perfect was still part of the team or had they spilt up yet, I think the three of them were still intact, but I could be wrong.

That gimmick was so great "The REAL World Champion" and they brought the wCw world title belt into the picture and showed Flair's robe and everything, leading in before he actually showed up.
I would have loved to see Flair vs Bret Hart alot more back in the day as well, I know they don't like each other, but if they put there differences aside that could have been a huge feud for the WWF back in the day.

I wonder if Flair's IC strap will be on the line against Angle, and it's obvious that Angle is going to win. I think Flair, who is my all time favorite (right up there with Vampiro) would be better served as the IC champion and battling the new comers like Rob Conway, Murdoch, Lance Cade, and others, like a Gregory Helms to see who has it and who doesn't. Flair has proved that he can still hang with the best of them, and should be used in other ways...because as great as it would be to see Flair with the world title again, that is not going to happen.

True, but that's not gonna stop me and other fans from associating the sign with Jay-Z. Heck, DDP winning the case can't stop fans from throwing it up since it's been around for so long. If anything, DDP will just get some money out of it and Jigga has more than enough to go around.

Chris Benoit is reportedly working to secure a lighter wrestling schedule for the next few years. While he is certainly not opposed to renewing his WWE deal, he does want to have an easier workload. New Japan has been talking to Benoit in recent weeks about giving him "the Brock Lesnar deal," in which he would work limited, specific dates from the company.
Although TNA is an option, there is talk that TNA will not offer him the "big money deal" that he might command

By now everyone knows that RAW's GM Eric Bischoff was fired this past Monday night by Vince McMahon on national television. The WWE has since then teased many possible replacements such as Shane and Stephanie McMahon, Bret Hart, Mick Foley, and Steve Austin, but as of this weekend all indications point to non other then Dusty Rhodes as his replacement to take on RAW in 2006.
When Dusty was in TNA Wrestling earlier this year he held the same role and was a compelling figure for the promotion. The benefit of having Dusty take over is that he will be coming in as a fan favorite. That will be a welcome change of pace considering the WWE has been forcing the ''evil GM'' angle for years and years.
While his reign as General Manager of the RAW Brand, look for Dusty to cross paths with heels such as Triple H, Edge, and Kurt Angle in the coming months. Don't be surprised if you also see him battle with old-school rival Ric Flair.
As for Bischoff, he is not sitting still. In fact, I hear he has been in talks with Jamal about a return to the WWE and will bring back the ''3 Minute Warning'' tag team in the coming weeks.

I think last week's thing with Cowboy Bob Orton bleeding profusely was the most insulting segment. I was honestly baffled about what the point of that was.....was Undertaker putting those images into Orton's head and if so, how did the camera catch it? I was just baffled after seeing that....

Ric Flair vs. Angle was ok. Some good submissions but Kurt came out on top.
Big Show vs. HBK was ok too, HHH interfered and got HBK the win by hitting him with a chair
Carlito vs. Shelton, what a crock. Carlito should never beat Shelton...ever.
Masterpiece vs. Viscera was zzzzzzzzzzzzz
HHH vs. Kane was ok too. Big Show interfered and cost HHH the match
Cena vs. Daivari in a "You Can't See Me Match". For once, Cena didn't get booed. The only people that like him are the people in his hometown apparently. He won BTW.
Thank You White Howling and Colossal Spoons, can somebody really get knocked out with a medal? Seems to me they could have done something different after all at Survivor Series Flair took 3 Pedigrees and got up from them, I don't think a medal would knock him out cold. Shelton's not winning because he has as much personality as a box of hair. You could be half-decent in the ring and great on the mic. and you'll make it to the top of the cards in no time. If you're the opposite, well, then you're Shelton.

XPW's Rob Black and Lizzie Borden Indicted
August 8, 2003
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PITTSBURGH, PA. - Rob Zicari and Janet Romano, better known within adult as Rob Black and Lizzie Borden of Extreme Associates, have been indicted on 10 charges by a federal grand jury for allegedly distributing obscene materials via the United States Postal Service and the Internet.
Zicari, Romano, and Extreme Associates, Inc. were indicted for allegedly distributing three obscene videos to the Pittsburgh area through the mail and six video clips in various digital formats over the Internet to the Pittsburgh area. The tenth charge was one of conspiracy to commit the alleged crimes.
They have not been incarcerated but were required to turn in their passports and must appear at an arraignment hearing in Pittsburgh on August 27. According to U.S. Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan, prosecutor for the case, Zicari and Romano, if convicted, both face a maximum penalty of 50 years in prison and a $2.5 million fine and probation. Extreme Associates, Inc. faces $5 million fine and could have to turn over their domain name.
Forced Entry - Director's Cut and Cocktails #2 - Director's Cut, both directed by Borden, were two of the tapes that led to the indictments. Forced Entry, of course, was the feature showcased in last year's PBS: Frontline episode, where various Frontline personnel claimed to have been sickened by the tape's depictions of forcible rape.
According to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service's "Search Warrant/Arrest Operation Plan" which Black provided to AVN.com, is seems that reaction of Frontline personnel to Forced Entry, which Black claims was rigged for the cameras, were in part what launched the investigation.
"For over a year Extreme Associates, Inc. has been investigated by the LAPD Obscenities Squad," the warrant reads, in the section entitled 'Summary of Case.'
"On February 7, 2002, PBS-Frontline interviewed Extreme Associates, Inc. during a movie shoot of American Porn. The PBS-Frontline cameraman and interviewer stopped shooting during the movie shoot. We believe they left because of the shock and disgust of the rape scene, which was subsequently released as Forced Entry.
"During the PBS-Frontline interview, [Rob Black] (principal) and Extreme Associates issued a challenge to U.S. Attorney General Ashcroft [USAG]. They touted the USAG in regards to the content of their movies and that USAG could not do anything about it."
The third video that led to an indictment, Extreme Teen #24, is credited to "Stanley Ferrara," but reportedly had multiple directors. Extreme Teen 24, has at least one scene featuring an adult performer (Black Cat) playing what appears to be a pre-teen who lives in a crude tent in her parents' living room, wears pajamas with feet and constantly sucks on a lollipop. Valentino enters, claiming to be selling Pokemon merchandise, and tells her that Pokemon would want her to suck his cock, which she proceeds to do, then moves on to a full sex scene.
The Extremeassociates.com Website hosted six clips in various video formats that the jury found obscene. It is not yet known if these clips were from videos or were original Web content. The file names of the clips are: Valeriejospit.wmv, jewel.mpeg, PZ Summer Breeze.mpeg, dp_gangbang_7_gen_X.mpeg, miacum.mpeg, analasspirations1.mpeg.
Federal agents, postal inspectors and three Los Angeles police officers raided the North Hollywood offices of Extreme Associates on April 9th of this year with a ten-page warrant. They seized three copies each of Extreme Teen 24, Cocktails 2, Ass Clowns 3 and Forced Entry. It is not known whether they seized the fifth title named in the warrant, 1001 Ways to Eat My Jizz, part of the Armageddon line.
The warrant stated that the bust was due to a complaint in Pittsburgh. Authorities based there had ordered the videos in question and had them delivered to a P.O. box. They had also subscribed to a Website.
U.S. Attorney Mary Beth Buchanan serves as chairwoman of the Attorney General's Advisory Committee of U.S. Attorneys. When she was appointed to that position in April, Attorney General John Ashcroft described Buchanan's work with the advisory committee's working group on child exploitation and obscenity as "invaluable."

-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Juventud suggested to the SmackDown writers that he has his own talk show on SD titled ?The Juice Is Loose'. It doesn't look like that one will be happening. He has also suggested a Mask vs. Mask program with Rey Mysterio and himself. When they brought up the fact that Juventud doesn't even wear a mask, he said he could wear one just for that feud.
When it was brought up that all of his ideas were for himself and not the Mexicools, he said that Psicosis and Super Crazy aren't in his league and he should be up with the top guys like Mysterio. This is obviously not helping cool off all of the heat he has been getting backstage. Nobody will travel with him anymore except Cowboy Bob Orton.
When talking about Juvi, JBL recently said "Don't waste your time with him. He's a retard. He's hopeless."

Serving as replacements this week, SmackDown! announcers Michael Cole and Tazz took over WWE Byte This web cast. While in the process of hosting the show, they managed to shoot on the RAW announce team.
On the show they stated in reference as to why they are hosting the show, that "Todd Grisham was missing in action, they can't get Coach out of bed, Jerry Lawler doesn't do these types of shows" and then they sarcastically said "Joey Styles loves being in the WWE."
Thus was also the reason the show started twenty minutes late do to the fact that the WWE have to find them to do the show.
Also for the record, this is not the first time Cole and Tazz took out their feelings on WWE Byte This, nor was it the first time they took shots at the RAW brand commentators.

-- After working through his injury, Ken Kennedy is said to have been hurting so bad that when he couldn't even put his hand in his pocket to get his wallet at a restaurant because it was hurting so bad. The doctors told him it was a complete tear, compared to Batista's partial tear, and that he would need surgery. Kennedy had the surgery for the lat tear on December 6, and isn't expected back at 100% until as late as June.
Vince is said to be a huge fan of Ken Kennedy and actually wanted to put him in a major match at WrestleMania, however it doesn't look like that will be happening now. Vince told Kennedy to have the surgery, to give him time to come up with a plan of action for his return.
They will likely give him some sort of on-air role during his recovery to keep his character alive, similar to what they did with Edge.
-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the Mexicools are in line for a big push soon. As previously reported here, Juvi had been asking for a big solo push without the rest of the Mexicools, but management is rather fond of the group as a whole.
- The PWTorch Newsletter is reporting that the breakdown of Ric Flair over all of the negative publicity has been the number one topic of discussion backstage lately. Ric Flair is said to be devastated over all of the attention that the road rage allegation and divorce papers have gotten him.

The Rock and Steve Austin, two of WWE's all-time biggest stars, were disgusted with the controversial Undertaker angle that involved Eddie Guerrero's car, reports PWTorch.com.
And, those two were not the only influential WWE superstars upset by the angle, which aired on the Tuesday SmackDown! special.
Another former WWE headliner said, "It's almost like you've worked for Satan when you see decisions like that. It was really in poor taste."
Austin and The Rock have been keeping a good distance from WWE as of late; although Rock has a legitimate excuse in his movie career, sources say that more is at play than just his heavy schedule.
WWE wrestlers have been criticizing a great number of Vince McMahon's recent decisions.
"That n*gga comment was pretty inexcusable. Then, in the same week, they have Rey Mysterio comes out in Eddie's car to Eddie's music, only to blow up the car? Lots of people wondering what really is wrong with Vince," one source said.

Oh man, major suckage. :(:down
Although the fact that Vince likes him, and that he'll still be on screen is good news.

- The Boogey Man (Marty Wright) had his teeth knocked out doing a training match earlier this year while in OVW.
Well, I'll be damned.
After reading this week's Smackdown! spoliers, anyone else thinks Armageddon will come out to be worse than The Great American Bash?

Some time in this January, Chris Benoit's current WWE contract with WWE will be expiring. Currently Benoit is said to be seeking a much lighter work schedule once his deal with the company does in fact expire.
It has been reported in the past that New Japan has contacted Chris Benoit about possibly working specific dates on a much lighter schedule then the WWE is currently offering him. At this time, Brock Lesnar is currently doing what they offered Benoit.
As of right now, TNA has not approached Benoit yet on a possible agreement or a contract with their company due to the fact they just recently invested a significant amount of money in signing Sting to just a one year deal. Panda Energy has given TNA plenty of money, but in this case that isn't the reason TNA hasn't approached him. Its simply that if they did what they did for Sting to for Benoit, it would show the core talent in TNA that the company is more worried about bringing in big names as opposed to using solid talent they already have. And based on what we are hearing, it appears TNA management values Sting's services over Benoit.
As it stands right now, Chris Benoit has not decided if he wants to renew his contract with WWE or pursue other alternatives in the business.
As a fan, I would prefer he stay in the WWE, but if they continue to keep Benoit at midcard status, he should move on. WWE needs Benoit to sign a contract more than Benoit needs to. I highly doubt he would make it to TNA within the next year, Sting or no Sting.

On December 28, 2005, RAW will be featuring a house show that will feature Tatanka. He is scheduled to be teaming up with Shelton Benjamin to take on Carlito and Jonathan Coachman in a special tag team match.
It also looks as if Beth Phoenix and Shelly Martinez are being scheduled to the main roster for the SmackDown! brand house show that will take place on December 28, 2005 at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena in Jamestown, New York. Beth and Shelly's role at the event will be featured valets for Idol Stevens when he takes on Matt Hardy.

-- To update on the situation with Jim Ross, he's at home recovering from surgery, riding out his contract with WWE. Right now it doesn't look like there's any chance JR could be brought in as the general manager for RAW unless something changes. Originally the plan was to have J.R. announcing on WWE.com, however that obviously has not happened.
People close to the situation are saying that J.R. was not happy with the way he was treated.

I wonder if he would jump ship to TNA? How much time is left on his contract, and it would be great to see him co-host with Mike Tenay and get rid of Don West, that guy is horrible! If Jim Ross was to jump to TNA, it could also mean SCSA could pop in here and there and that would draw viewers to check out the GREAT action they are missing by not watching TNA right now!

-- Thanks to Devin Cutting for sending this in: Michael Cole announced on the Canadian airing of Smackdown last night that Juventud will defend the Cruiserweight Title against Kid Kash at Armageddon.
-- Despite her usual presence, the PWTorch Newsletter reports that lately Stephanie McMahon has not been backstage at events in recent weeks.
-- When the Eric Bischoff firing storyline was first announced, it was thought that he would continue with the company in a different role. However PWInsider.com is reporting that the backstage vibe at this week's RAW was much different. Many of the workers are getting the impression that Bischoff will be gone for a while, and possibly for good. We'll keep you updated.
