Not me, I want Flair to beat Edge at the PPV and successfully defend his IC strap. WoOoOoOoOo! ! ! ! That was great when Flair slapped on the Figure-4 on Lita, and Edge did nothing, I wonder if that will effect Edge and Lita's on screen relationship

Edge's parody of Flair was pretty good, it had me laughing...

FORMER APA MEMBER INDUCTED IN HALL OF FAME
Well not the wrestling hall of fame, but Ron Simmons, the former
partner of Bradshaw in the APA, was inducted in the Regions Bank Orange
Bowl Hall Of Fame Monday, for his accomplishments as a defensive tackle
at Florida State. The ceremony was held at the AvMed Orange Bowl Coaches
Luncheon, the day before this year’s FedEx Orange Bowl. Simmons was
fired during an angle on Smackdown! last year after WrestleMania XX and
then got the news that he was really fired! He has since returned to the
company working in promotional activities.

Awesome news to hear about Ron Simmons, and I didn't realize he was back working with the WWE

TWO NEW SIGNINGS FOR WWE
Recently WWE has signed two wrestlers, one of them is former TNA
wrestler Sonny Siaki. Siaki has been with TNA since 2002 and left the
company at the end of December when his contract expired. During his
time in TNA, he won the X-Division championship. The other one is a 7'3"
monster named Dalip Singh, an Indian wrestler and former state police
officer in India. He also had a part in the remake of 'The Longest Yard'
playing the character of Turley.

We have been talking about Dalip Singh for awhile now, but I want to talk about the signing of Sonny Siaki who in my opinion could be a real player in the mid card/IC strap division. The guy has real talent, real microphone skills and is a great athlete, I hope that the WWE doesn't screw this signing up...

I like what they did with Edge. When I heard that they were going to make him the resident shoot character, I shuttered a little. Instead they just had shoot aspects & making him a dick. Which is really the perfect kind of heel... I never had a problem with Copeland, but I find it funny how he is suddenly over on the board when it was like 6 months ago when he was public enemy #2 here (because even when people are talking ****, HHH still has to be the #1 guy).

That Batista thing sounds ****ing uproarious. I garentee they will edit it for tv & Henry will have his mission accomplished faster than he inbibes cake.

The perks of marrying the boss's daughter:

Although Vince McMahon's private jet used to be the transportation of choice for a number of upper-tier wrestlers, PWTorch.com reports that it was recently made exclusive to staff members. Triple H is the only roster member welcome on the plane.

But luxurious airfare is not the only travel perk associated with being Triple H.

He and wife Stephanie McMahon also recently acquired a $2 million luxury travel bus, which has further isolated the wrestler from his colleagues. The two fly to the first show of each individual tour leg and then use the bus to get to the rest of the shows in the region.

"It's a gorgeous bus," says one wrestler who has seen it.

Jake Roberts/WWE.

Jake “The Snake” Roberts and the WWE may have some problems up their sleeves soon. Members of Jake Robert’s family especially his farther are not to please with some of the comments made on the recently released DVD of Jake Roberts. Currently the family has not taken any legal action as of yet, but it will most likely happen soon.

Eddie Guerrero Tribute on WWE.com in El Paso, Texas.

Eddie Guerrero honored in El Paso
January 4, 2006

Even months after Eddie Guerrero’s untimely passing, the former WWE Champion is still touching the lives of his friends, family and fans everywhere. Eddie’s mantra of “lie, cheat and steal” endeared him to millions of fans, but even before that he was already El Paso’s own Champion.

Eddie posthumously received the Star of the Mountain Award in recognition of the pride he brought to his hometown. His wife Vickie and their three daughters also all received keys to the city of El Paso, the same city in which they grew up.

“It was an honor to see how much El Paso loved Eddie Guerrero. It was a great honor to have Eddie recognized. To hear the mayor and everyone say how much Eddie and his work was appreciated meant a lot,” she said.

Vickie said that she knew that Eddie was a popular wrestler, but she is still surprised by how much media attention her husband’s death has brought.

“I really didn’t expect it. We liked to lead a simple life. We never looked for publicity, so it was amazing to see the impact that Eddie’s passing has had on people. It has really touched my heart.”

Poor Vicky, the kids, and Eddie's other family members. :( It's such a shame what happened. I know someone will say to get over it, but damn, this was such a huge loss for everyone.

I definitely keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

It was also mentioned on the Chris Jericho forum, that they plan on doing a movie highlighting Eddie's career. Hopefully if it comes to fruition, they get a great director and a great actor to play the most humble, classiest, and entertaining wrestler in history.

But in the end, there will only be one Eddie Guerrero.

When Brock missed that SSP that scared me. Brock could've hit it if Kurt wasn't so far away; however, I definitely don't blame Brock for stating that he would never try the SSP again.

Batista shouldn't attempt a moonsault, at least not with that partial tear in his back too.

I just watched the Mark Henry vs. Steel Cage door. Just embarassing and I wonder if Mark felt embarassed? Damn, all those eyes on you too and you can't rip the door open?

Well apparently Kennedy's was worse but the reason Batista doesn't want to stop is WM22 is coming up and it's a huge payday,
He is most likely going to be one of the main events and once he drops the belt at his age it's unlikely another reign will be happening so he can't afford injury time

Partial Source: The Wrestling Observer

- The current working idea is to do a Batista vs. Mark Henry match at Royal Rumble. Henry's return is being built up as 'shocking'.

- The Boogeymen is expected to bite the growth off of Jillian Hall's face soon putting her out of action for a while. In the mean time the WWE may call up Angel Williams from Deep South Wrestling to manage JBL.

It appears that the WWE isn't finished with the angle involving former referee Tim White that they started at the Armageddon PPV.

Current SD announcer Josh Matthews recently filmed a new vignette with White which explained that during the Armageddon segment, Tim dropped the shotgun that he was holding and only ended up shooting himself in the foot.

After looking at White's bandage toe, Matthews asks him if he has any new year's resolutions. This leads to White grabbing a box marked "Rat Poison" and, after shoving Josh out of the way, tries to pour the entire box down his throat. Of course, to help prevent any thoughts or wonder if Tim actually dies like last time, they had White & the chair he was sitting on tip & fall backwards, then you hear the sound of the "Rat Poison" escaping the box.

So apparently, the WWE has decided to take this one stupid angle from the Armageddon PPV and now turn it into a running gag to show how White keeps trying to kill himself and then screws it up. This segment might air as early as this week's episode of Smackdown.

Hunter, I want to thank you for the match links you provided. My friend is DLing them (over time), and is now up to KENTA v. Kobashi. You have been a big help.

Now, onto some news.

For some reason, Vince McMahon has his own link on the left side of WWE.com under the "Superstars" branch. He's listed alongside the superstars of Raw and Smackdown, the WWE Divas, Hall Of Famers, and the Babe Of The Year.

Remember the 7 foot 'giant' that signed with WWE that we talked about last week? Dalip "Giant" Singh has been sent down to OVW for training.

- Edit

Here is the video segment of Tim White which is scheduled to air in the coming weeks. They include the ending which will obviously be edited where the production members come in and say "Spit that *****" out" and Tim White responds with "Jesus Chr*st". Unbelievable un-edited WWE material. Hurry up and view this because WWE will likely have this taken down as soon as we report it.

They guy was a dick, and everyone knew it. It was just a matter of time that this would happen. Strange thing is, the final straw was the fact that his match with Kid Kash went over by a few minutes at the Smackdown! taping. That doesn't really sound right, but guys have been canned for less.

Edit:

Partial Source: PWInsider.com

With his release, it is obvious that Juventud will not be in the Triple Threat matches this weekend. Following up on Juvi's release, it appears that he had been warned by management several times about his behavior, so much that Psicosis and Super Crazy distanced themselves and refused to travel with him. What seemed to cause the release is that Juvi and Kid Kash went over their scheduled match time by several minutes on Tuesday's Smackdown tapings. This was expected and should not come as a surprise.

Tajiri asked for his release to allow him to return to Japan to spend more time with his family and work on other ventures. He will be writing wrestling articles for a sports magazine, as well as work on a book. He still plans to work worldwide independent shows, in Japan, Mexico (he has a match scheduled in the next month or so), and Europe.

I believe he was contacted at one point by TNA, but nothing much came of it.

I miss Tajiri. He was one of the more fun wrestlers to watch with his kicks, albeit on the wrong program. What I regret about him leaving WWE is the potential matches he could have had with Super Crazy.

As reported earlier, Juventud has been released by WWE. The release was expected for awhile due to Juventud's often out-of-control behavior. Juvi has always been known as a rebel and while he wasn't as bad as in the past while with WWE, he was not a model employee. Juvi often did not listen to what the WWE road agents told him about his moves and style and did what he wanted to do in the ring. Many of his friends were disappointed to see him blow his shot in WWE, especially that he is older now. Super Crazy and Psicosis, fearing that his behavior would rub off on them, asked WWE management to be separated from him on air. Most feel that Juvi's behavior has cost him stardom as he was considered to be a far better wrestler than Rey Mysterio in the early 90s. In WCW, he became infamous after he danced naked in an Australia hotel hallway while high on drugs.

Kid Kash vs. Jamie Noble vs. Juventud was shoaled for the weekend SmackDown! brand house shows but with Juvi gone and Kash's injury, we'll have to wait and see what they do with that. Kid Kash vs. Juventud (his last match) airs tonight on SmackDown!.

Speaking of Kash, his injury is said to be a severely bruised arm and not a break. He was getting it looked at today.

Juvi was and is a great wrestler, more or less he definitely deserved a big push. But it doesn't give him the right to act like a prick either.

If you know or have seen Juvi, all you have to do is watch his matches during his run at WCW with Eddy, Jericho, Malenko, Kidman, and Rey. You'll see why he's great, talented, and deserves a bigger push.

Knowing what Vince does to the cruiseweights, one can understand why Juvi wasn't patient though. :)

Funny, JBL gets to be a prick and does a nazi salute in Germany(which is illegal by the way), and doesn't get released, however, Juvi develops an attitude problem and has demands then they release him. Maybe he'll go to TNA, though I truly doubt it. :(

-- Several people backstage have been noticing that Cena is getting bothered by the boos he's been getting from the crowd lately. He's been trying to just brush it off, saying it's their choice and they can cheer or boo whoever they want, however it is still getting to him. He's been working very hard lately between both wrestling and his music, and is home maybe only one day of the week.

There isn't really anything being said about it right now, but if the company was to turn him heel it would probably be the biggest heel turn since The Rock.

Actually, it was Jim Ross that decided that the moves shoukd be banned to prevent wrestlers from getting hurt after the Paul London incident. But if you notice since Ross has been removed from the program for the most part Cruiserweight matches have kicked it up to a faster pace, while keeping the WWE style of wrestling apparent, and moves like the Moonsault, which was also banned with the Shooting Star Press and 450 Splash, has been alloed again, as shown by Matt Hardy, Kurt Angel and Super Crazy. I have a feeling Vince and the writers are loosening the rules again for the Cruiserweights as to compete with TNA while not deviating too much from their current wrestling style.

Plus, remember, Juvi actually missed the 450 Splash, he didn't hit it, so that could have easily been planned.

I like Lashely if he'd wrestle a real match, but his mic work is worse than Benjamin's or Hardy's, and that promo just made me cry. Then I dozed off for a few moments... again.

Gemini (however you spell it, the Shane Twins) looked good. They also looked like two small Bill Goldbergs in the ring.

I like Lashely if he'd wrestle a real match, but his mic work is worse than Benjamin's or Hardy's, and that promo just made me cry. Then I dozed off for a few moments... again.

Gemini (however you spell it, the Shane Twins) looked good. They also looked like two small Bill Goldbergs in the ring.

.

Hopefully London will be allowed the SSP back, him and Spanky better win this new feud:mad:

Meh, I don't really care about Cena, so whatever they do with him is fine. Speaking of the crowd, have you guys heard the pops Masters has been getting lately? What's up with that?

Masters has been learning a few tricks that's why. All he needs is a push in the charisma dept.

NDX

So maybe I'm not the only one who thinks Masters has been improving as of late. It also helps that he been wrestling opponents as of late who are able to carry him where he is weak. Although he does know how to take a good beating and make it look right.

I like his Charisma, just needs a lot work on his mic skills and some time with the IC wrestlers for more seasoning.

Yes, Masters does sound like he's on the low end of the intelligence pool, which was what bothered me from the start with him. That, and the fact that he would go weeks without wrestling with his bogus "Masterlock Challenge".

Thanks to James Duncan of PWInsider.com for this:

I've just got returned from the 1PW show in Doncaster. I also attended the Bret Hart Q and A earlier in the day. Here are a couple of the more interesting questions that he answered.

Someone asked him if he was going to be in the WWE Hall of Fame this year. Bret's reply was if Vince McMahon and others give him an apology, then he would but seeing as he doesn't see that happening in the future, he says he isn't likely to accept an invitation. He also said if he was still wrestling he would probably be with TNA or doing some indie events.

There was no flash photography allowed and only two items per person to be signed. But all in all he was very nice and approachable.

I also had a premium ticket for autographs before the show started. Charlie Haas made it pretty clear to me that he was coming back to Raw and will be involved in the Shelton Benjamin angle. He said he would be on Raw next Monday. Harry Smith (who was Bret's mystery wrestler) said he would be joining WWE sooner rather then later.

This is what Regal said about Harry Smith:

"If you come in to the WWE at 19-years-old and only know one style of wrestling, then by the time you're 25 your face will be worn out.

Harry Smith, Davey Boy's son, has listened to the advice of me and Chris Benoit and is wrestling all over the world learning different styles.

When Harry comes in, he'll be something special already."

Could we see Regal managing Harry Smith along with Paul Burchill? That might be an interesting team....

SmackDown! brand superstar Mark Henry’s 10 year contract with the company is set to expire at the end of this year.

Don’t be surprised if you don’t see the big guy renew his contract next year, let alone be offered another contract. Mark Henry hasn’t really had the best run while with the company or with the WWE at all.

Some wrestlers backstage have praised Henry for “sticking in there” with the ridicules angles that Henry has been dealt with. Among wrestling as the name “Sexual Chocolate” he has also been put through some horrible situations as one I can recall is the angle with being Mae Young’s boyfriend. However, Henry could of quit the company at any time if he wanted to but hasn’t.

After watching Henry do some of these gimmicks (especially Young and P.M.S.) I wondered why he never quit. Still do, honestly. Thise did go too far.

Also, note that Dave Taylor has been sign by the WWE to be a trainer for their Deep South territory.

Good to see they are getting other experienced wrestlers to train their developmental talent.

Even though Haas is coming back, we don't know if he's going to be teaming with Shelton or feuding with him. Haas v. Benjamin has the potential to be amazing matches if given the right amount of time. And reports have indicated that Jamal is coming back not to team with Rosey, leaving the only real tagteam of RAW Big Show/Kane.

Plus it might be good to have a powerhouse heel tagteam on Smackdown to allow a smaller face tagteam to work their ways up and take the titles from their larger opponents. It will at least be more entertaining that Batista/Rey v. MNM 3 Main Events in a row.

Haas did say he will be involved in the new Mama Benjamin angle so the tag team seems the best way to get them both in the mix again

The rest of the show was solid, with JBL/Hardy,Kash/Juvi and the tag main event being solid with the Benoit/Orton match being very good

I actually hope they have a good long feud to help reestablish the tag team division. This is one of the reasons why I was oppose to the disbanding of the Bashams. They were one of the few legitimately entertaining tagteams on Smackdown!. Now, unfortunately, we've been bombarded with constant Rey/Batista v. MNM matches and seemingly have been ignoring the other tagteams on the show.

Now that I think of it, I would like to see a tagteam tournament featuring 6 teams (The *****, The Mexicools, Gymini, Tragedy/Comedy, Burchill/Regal, Nunzio/Vito), leading to a number 1 contenders match of some sort (with this setup it would be a 3-way elimination tag match), culminating with a championship title match at WrestleMania. But then again, this is probably wishful thinking.

i'm a lil bored and the ppv is just a short time away, so i'm gonna go ahead and post my picks...

WWE Champion John Cena vs. Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Masters vs. Carlito vs. Kane (Elimination Chamber Match)
i just want cena to lose the title to ANYBODY at this point. my guess is that vince is gonna help hbk get the victory, but i would be much happier seeing the title on kurt angle. as long the title comes off of cena, it's all good.

Big Show vs. Triple H
this is going to be an all out brawl and i would say triple h is going to win, but i'm not 100% certain.

Intercontinental Champion Ric Flair vs. Edge
mr. money in the bank is going to win the ic title, but why? i guess it's less of a waste than having it on flair, but still... they need to do more with that belt.

Gregory Helms vs. Jerry "The King" Lawler
this one is going to be a lot of fun to watch cuz i've always loved the king and hemls is super talented... hopefully this is the first sign of a push for the youngin.

Ashley vs. Maria vs. Torrie Wilson vs. Victoria vs. Candice Michelle (Bra & Panties Gauntlet Match)
we all know the FANS are the winners of this match...

Women's Champion Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James
looking at how this whole thing has played out, i would say mickie james is going to win since she has totally crawled inside trish's head.

Alright, most of it consisted of HHH breaking off Big Show's cast, HHH brings out hammer Big show break in half, then he gets smacked on head with stick then the pedigree, then 1..2..3 and HHH won.
