I actually think a heel turn would've done wonders for him. The reason why the fans cheered for Cena in the first place was because of the intensity he used to display. This was a guy who would initially do or say anything he wanted and the fans grew to like him. Then they turned him face and just absolutely made him look like an idiot. Whereas once he was Eminem, he quickly morphed into Vanilla Ice: A white boy who just tried to act cool but ended up failing miserably.

I was one of those guys that absolutely liked Cena before his face turn. I even liked him during the first few months of his face run. Then he brought along the spinner US title. Then he brought in the Chain Gang. Then they stopped having him rap. And everything I liked about Cena was just destroyed.

If Cena had turned heel tonight (like maybe team up with Vince McMahon), it would've created more possibilities for the character. And for future feuds. We could've had more of Cena just absolutely ripping into fans for just booing him incessantly. Think of the Rock when he turned heel a couple years back. Just a few heel promos and the fans started cheering for him again. The same could've happened with Cena.

But now we're just going to get Edge as champion, with Cena (still probably acting the way he does as this boring old face) trying to win back the title.


Of course I could be wrong and they'll have Cena turn. But if they didn't have Cena turn tonight, I doubt the WWE ever had plans to turn him in the first place.....

Well I believe the rematch claus, as it is written is stories, is in the contract of the former champion, making the rematch a guarentee. And I hope there is no loophole in the Money in the Bank contract that prevents this, for Cena will be in the Royal Rumble then and knowing writers, he'd win the Rumble and headline WrestlerMania, and RAW will have the main event for a third year in a row.

Anyway, we are probably looking at an Edge v. Cena title match in the near future (I'm thinking Royal Rumble), which will lead into HHH getting into the mix and starting a 3 way feud for the title.

When everyone on the board kept saying the RAW main event would be Edge v. HHH v. Cena, I never thought it to be a possibility until tonight.

Tonight during a SmackDown! brand house show in Verona, NY, its being said that Batista may have suffered another serious injury to his triceps.

The injury happened when Mark Henry jumped on him during his match up in the main event and he apparently landed wrong. The match had to then be cut short with the match finishing with a disqualification when Henry struck Batista with the ring bell.

Batista has suffered two torn triceps already in his career and is still recuperating from a torn lat. As of right now we are un-sure if it was the same arm that he injured in the past.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that the WWE is interested in signing Jay Lethal to a contract. Lethal is a former ROH Pure Champion and debuted with TNA a few weeks ago losing to Samoa Joe. Lethal dropped the JAPW title Saturday night to Rhino in Rahway, NJ. Meltzer reports if they do sign Lethal, it is likely that it will not be a developmental deal and one idea is to pair him up in a tag team with the returning Charlie Haas.

Dunno if I like Lethal signing with WWE and becoming limited, but I do like the idea of him teaming up with Haas.

The HHH/Show,Helms/King and Mickie/Trish matches were good and the EC match was excellent
the idea of the 2 young bloods coming together to remove established talent like Kane and HBK was very well booked and both exceled in the match
The finish was weakish with the 2 roll ups but Edge's cheap win was a glorious ending to the night

Edge and Lita work well as a duo,there's no need to split them and Edge must stay heel
Cena will get his shot at the Rumble and then turn heel,Vince isn't toally stupid,Cena got heat like most heels couldn't dream of last night

King had some greta matches in the AWA and really worked hard for Helms, a rematch some promos and a win for Gregory will do wonders for him
