Man, what's up with all these guys getting injured against Mark Henry? He's causing more injuries than anyone in the business.

I sincerely hope Angle isn't badly injured. We can sit here and make guesses all we want, but in the end, we don't know thing about what he's feeling or what's on his mind. But I hope to God that Angle isn't heading down the same path as Eddie.

We already lost Eddie, I don't know if I could handle Angle ending up like that.

Vince, get a clue, can Mark Henry and provide a great/safe wrestler like Benoit to work with Angle or Orton. Quit shoving this fat piece of trash down our throat and show that you care about the fans, the wrestlers, and get rid of wrestlers who have a track record of injuring people.

In all reality, he could probably milk at least 3 good months out of it. He has some decent in-ring stuff, but he would need to bulk up a little and get some polishing. I mean Vince gave us Zach Gowen for how long? Everybody knew that was short-term. This guy could get a run.

I can't believe I just devoted that much thought to 'The Human Tornado'.

-- Following two weeks of very strong 4.3 ratings, WWE RAW did even better this past Monday with a 4.5, off hours of 4.5 and 4.5. That is the highest number since the WWE RAW Homecoming special and shows that the current storylines on RAW are getting over with the crowd.

Lance Storm vs. Bryan Danielson Signed
1/24/06
ROH

Lance Storm has won titles everywhere he has gone from Japan to SMW to ECW to WCW to WWE. He retired from the ring last June with no reason to ever return. Now Storm has the itch and it is all because of one athlete. He has found his love for the sport of pro wrestling again and it is because of ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson.

Storm and Danielson came face-to-face at "Steel Cage Warfare" on December 3rd. Storm told Danielson that if he were ever to come out of retirement it would be to wrestle someone like him. Since that time the itch began to grow in Storm and he felt the need to return to the ring to compete against Danielson.

Storm has signed one of Bryan Danielson's open contracts for a World Title shot. It will be Lance Storm vs. Bryan Danielson for the ROH World Title on April 1st in Chicago (ROHwrestling.com, 215-781-2500, Ticketmaster outlets for tickets and info). Of course, Danielson must still be champion on April 1st. Even if Danielson loses the belt, it will still be Danielson vs. Storm on 4/1 in Chicago.

"After a 10 month absence, I will be returning to active competition April 1st to challenge the current ROH World Champion Bryan Danielson," Storm said. "I now have 10 weeks to get myself in the best shape of my life. I have never been more focused or set in a direction as I am right now. My only hope is that he is still the Champion come April 1st as a World Title run is the only thing that has eluded me in my career."

Far be it for anyone to express some kind of concern about a guy they find entertaining. No one should bother to care about anything short of George Dubya pressing the red button.

Former AWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Bockwinkle was on hand to award the belt to the new champion.

WWE shot an angle at last night's Miami Heat-Phoenix Suns game that included superstar NBA player Shaquille O'Neal's first WWE involvement in several years.

After the game, in which the Heat lost, Carlito started taunting Heat player Jason Williams, which led to Williams' teammate O'Neal coming up from behind and hitting Carlito with a chair.

Footage will be available on WWE.com later today.

Big Vito used to team with Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli in WCW as the Mamalukes... I mean Paizans, according to thier manager Disco Inferno. I believe he was also WCW Hardcore champion a few times, but I could be wrong.

It's too bad Rock won't come back for Wrestlemania, but why should he jump when Michaels says?? He should feud with Mr Kennedy and give him a definitive push towards the main event.

Since Rock won't ever come back to wrestling full-time, or even part-time, I think it would be cool if he would make appearances at every Wrestlemania in special one-off matches. I always wanted to see him wrestle Scott Hall, and I thought it would happen in 2002, but unfortunately it didn't.

In an interview with Mike Mooneyham of the Charleston Post and Courier, Shawn Michaels said that he wants Bret Hart to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

"Honestly I wish he would," he said. "Whatever it is that's keeping him from coming back - it's hard to believe it's still gotta be me - but if it is then I won't go. He ought to come back and end his career on a different note. Right now he's single-handedly made himself famous by being the Survivor Series guy and the bitter guy. I would want him to close his career differently. So if took me not going to the banquet to make that happen, I'm fine with that."

Michaels also said that he and Vince McMahon managed to get over the Montreal incident by confessing their parts; Bret has yet to do the same and consequently cannot get over what happened.

He also talked about how he gets a hard time from Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart about not living strictly by his faith:

"I am extremely flattered that after four-and-a-half years of being a born-again Christian, that everyone expects more out of me and my walk with the Lord than they expect from themselves. But I, too, do the best I can."

It wasn't a case of "jump when Michaels says" it was simply asked if he wanted to do an angle and give the fans a dream match and Rock said no b/c he doesn't like HBK,nothing more or less

I'm with Shawn on this one as well. He's a changed man and he appears to have moved on; so it's time Bret does the same. I understand Bret is still pissed about it and rightfully so, but the fact of the matter is, that it's time to move on and be at peace.

All of the he did this and he did that has gotten very old. What more do they want from Shawn? To get down on his hands and knees to kiss Bret's ass? Screw that. I'm tired of people questioning his christian life, when they're guilty of doing the exact same thing. Hogan has no right questioning Shawn or trying to lecture him, as he was one of the bigger *******s during his prime and still is too.

I'm just tired of the whole incident in general. It happened in 1997. Yes, it was a pivotal moment in wrestling history, but equally powerful and important moments have occurred since then, including the collapse of two of the three biggest wrestling companies on the market. I think that trumps the problems between Bret, Shawn and Vince.

It seems Bret is being a bit of a baby about this after all this time. What he did was fine, I have no problem with his reaction, but to hold a grudge this long, I'm sorry, but it has gone too far. I've held grudges in my time as well, but nothing ever last 8 years, no matter how bad the event was in my life.

Put it behind you Bret and give the fans what they want, you at WrestleMania 22 as a Hall of Fame inductee.

Sabretooth

Yeah, definitely siding with Shawn. I realize Bret got screwed, and I can understand he's pissed, but it's been like 8 ****ing years. If Bret really thought Vince was gonna let him go to WCW and throw the title in a garbage can, well he was in for a rude awakening and honestly may have deserved it for being so egocentric.

I remember laughing to myself when on Bret's DVD he was saying that in one of his matches before Survivor Series with HBK,Shawn wasn't holding his punches as if they were conspiring to screw him over. How bitter can he get?

PWInsider is reporting that rumors are going around backstage that Rey Mysterio will be winning the Royal Rumble. However, the plan seems to be to have Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton at WrestleMania. This could mean that Rey will lose his title shot before WrestleMania, or that one of the two plans have been changed.

Another match planned for WrestleMania is Undertaker vs. Mark Henry.

For those of you in the NYC are, UXW updated the page for their upcoming show on Friday, Feb. 3rd.

http://www.usaprowrestling.net/febshow06.htm

Unfortunately, only 4 matches have been announced. BUT it is better than their previous actions of announcing 12 matchs and only having 5 of them actually take place.

Just in case anyone is interested.

ROH will also be in LI, NY on the 11th of Feb. I need to check the ROH site to see who's wrestling (I think 2 matches have been announced). I'm hoping to make this my first ROH show, need to convince my friend to drive us all the way out there.
