It could be a work. It's just odd that they would put it up on the site. I'd think they would announce it on Raw or something if it was a work.
As for Randy's theme, I just read that it was from a Killswitch album, so I'm looking for it now.

What happened with Paul Birchill?
He told Regal that he was having a match next week, and that if he could, he'd make it against him. After he grabbed Regals tie and cut it in half with his knife, you could hear the crowd cheering in the back once he did so. Regal ran off saying that Burchill was crazy.

Angle/Taker was awesome from what I saw of it. I was also giggling like a little girl when Taker pulled off that sweet dragon sleeper. I haven't seen him do that move since WM 21. The ending, however, was crappy. It even looked like Henry was scared to jump.
How in the hell the Spanish announce table didn't break from him running on top of it,I'll never know.
Eric Draven

The pirate gimmick does have a Boogeyman-type vibe....except Burchill is a better wrestler than Boogey. The no worms are involved....yet :o
And anyone else think it was pretty funny that the Spanish Announce Table was the one table that wasn't destroyed at the end of SD this week? ;)

Exactly what I said. When Henry was just walking back and forth like he was thinking,''Should I really do this?'' I told myself there is no way that table is going to hold up for this long. I'm suprised it didn't break when he started to run,as well.
The announcing table has been getting destroyed week after week, and it's usually from Angle slamming people through them.
Eric Draven

They probably totally reinforced the table. I swear, when I saw the SAT up again, I thought it would be the one that was going to be destroyed (like always). But somehow, it managed to stay intact....

Last year you at least had Kurt Angle vs. HBK. A dream match to be sure. A match we had all wanted to see for years, at certain points we'd never thought we'd see but became a reality.
There is NO such match this year.
20, you had Eddie vs. Angle, Benoit/HHH/HBK, Evoltion vs. Rock n Sock, and Christian vs. Jericho. 4 awesome matches, two MOTYC's all on one show. Best mania ever.

Yeah. Just doesn't have the same ''feel'' as past WM's, that's for sure.
-We have 2 of the top stars in HBK & Undertaker taking on Vince (who IS NOT a wrestler) and Mark Henry (see Vince)
-Triple H vs. Cena is a Backlash main event. Not a WM main event.
-Money in the Bank: Meh. Not interested in seeing Ric Flair in a ladder match. Seeing RVD win it would be a good thing for the WWE though.
-Triple Threat: Not bad, but I would have preferred a traditional 1 on 1 match. Has potential.
Foley vs. Edge: The fact that it's a hardcore match makes it interesting. Won't help convince me to buy WM.
Like I said, nothing special. Hopefully they'll make something with the time they have and build it up some more.

There has never been one match with Vince McMahon that I truly liked or enjoyed. Other wrestling fans will disagree, but hey that's me.
-Triple H vs. Cena is a Backlash main event. Not a WM main event.
I think they should've just done HHH/Edge. It would've been a bit better. They could've figured something out with that thing.
-Money in the Bank: Meh. Not interested in seeing Ric Flair in a ladder match. Seeing RVD win it would be a good thing for the WWE though.
Carlito who proposed it isn't even in it. So what is he doing?
I'm disappointed this is what RVD is relegated to. He should be wrestling HBK. That's a Wrestlemania dream match right there.
-Triple Threat: Not bad, but I would have preferred a traditional 1 on 1 match. Has potential.
I just can't abide by how they came about the triple threat.
Foley vs. Edge: The fact that it's a hardcore match makes it interesting. Won't help convince me to buy WM.
It will probably be a good match, but really, what's the point? How much more does it elevate Edge? Especially after they clipped the wings off him as champion. The only reason he was champion was a last ditch effort to salvage John Cena as a face world champion.
Like I said, nothing special. Hopefully they'll make something with the time they have and build it up some more.
Nope, nothing special, just like Benoit/JBL.
This just looks like a very ho-hum Wrestlemania.

Very disappointing end to an otherwise solid SD. I hope they don't plan on re-signing Henry once his deal is up in August (or whenever). I'm sure he's trying hard, but his top card status is laughable. Mania is really shaping up to be crap.

The SD side of WM22 has been booked as well as it possibly could have been given the loss of Eddie and the injury to Batista
The 3-way is the only solution they had for the WHC and Benoit/JBL should be an old style NWA stiff-fest between two former World champions that will elevate the US title after 2 years of neglect
Finlay is working miracles with Lashley by helping him work snug and use his power instead of looking nervous every time he hits the ring
Taker/Henry is better than the Taker/Boogeyman option
The RAW side is unforgivable nonsense, two of the main matches(Vince/HBK,HHH/Cena) are booked purely for the ego's of the two most powerful men in the company
Edge has been buried by HHH and yet his match with Foley is RAW's sole highlight this Mania
MITB-II always seemed like cop out booking to me and leaving Carlito out in favour of Flair is crazy

Can you blame him? If that was the case I wouldn't have done it either. I know wrestling scripted and all that kind of good stuff, but there's no way I'd kiss any man's ass physically or verbally.
If he was fired because of not keeping a straight face, then Vince has definitely lost his mind and really has no sense of what the fans want. Then again I don't really think he ever had an idea what the fans want.
Hey Vince, the fans don't want to see your wrinkly ass. They want to see wrestling, good/great storylines, and actual wrestlers being put to use instead of stupid angles like the kiss my ass club.
Maybe Jannetty should go to TNA? Seriously I think he'd do excellent over there in the X-Division and possibly a feud with Christian Cage.

did anybody mention this yet? ign sports has an interview up with edge... it's pretty good, actually. i've always been a fan of edge... i kinda liked him when he came in as the enigma (and who could ever forget gangrel) and of course he was awesome with christian. then christian kinda ended up gettin better than edge... but i was soo happy when he beat cena... even tho i knew cena would get it back cuz they didn't even change the spinner belt. yuck. i hate that thing. anyway, the interview. here's a link. (http://sports.ign.com/articles/693/693447p1.html) he talks about bret hart and a bunch of other stuff... like i said, it's good. and here's a portion of the interview that got me even more hyped for his match with foley.
IGN Sports: You have another earmark match coming up against Mick Foley…
Edge: Funny you said earmark considering Mick only has one ear.[laughs]
IGN Sports: What should people expect from this match, especially since you're stepping right into his comfort zone with the hardcore rules?
Edge: Mick and I go back a long way, and we've always had really good chemistry. Back when it was Edge and Christian with Foley as commissioner, we always had great chemistry when it came to cutting promos, but we never had that chance to get in the ring together even though I always wanted to. Mick, along with Undertaker, those are the last two guys I really want to do an angle with in wrestling, so I'm finally getting to do that with Mick. Mick has that reputation for being the hardcore guy, but I've also built my own reputation now. So if you see Edge, whether it's a Street Fight, a Stretcher match, a TLC match, a No DQ match, I've had some pretty crazy matches in all of those formats. So when you hear that Edge is in one of these matches, you know you're going to get something special, and by putting me in there with Mick, who is also known for these crazy matches, all I can tell you is this: We're going to steal the show. I am going to make sure that no other match at Wrestlemania can touch it. That's my mentality. The way to do that is with a whole lot of brutality and to do some things that you've never seen before in WWE. It's going to be violent, and it's going to be one of those matches that you don't want the kids to watch. It might feel like a horror show at times. It might feel like a car wreck at times. But I'm going to make sure that when people are leaving that building, they are saying: 'Damn, Edge and Foley tore the house down.' My feeling is that I should be in the main event this year. You don't want to put me in it, so I'm just going to go ahead and steal the show.

The Angle and Taker rematch was great, until Henry had to come and **** it all up.
I have to admit it was a great match by both Taker and Kurt Angle, but they have to do something a bit different with the whole triangle choke to the ankle lock, etc... That ending is getting a bit stale, and Mark Henry totally ruined that match up. Why can't we get a clean win in this high calibur match up? Whether it be Taker or Angle?

Never saw that one but lets comprimise it was greenlighted by the same studio that gave us Street Fighter the movie
no graz animation did the animation but it WAS loosely based on the universal movie with the trditional looks of the characters but one odd change balrog worked for bison and deejay was a friend of guille its a very good series
It was probably just a marketing tool for then G.I.Joe Street Fighter Action Figures they made.
God, those were just wrong.

-- Below is Marty Jannetty's explanation of why he will not be on RAW this coming Monday:
OK, for my fans, family and friends, here is the situation....Due to travel restrictions I have as part of a probation agreement, I was denied travel this week to Birmingham, Alabama for Monday Night Raw. As you could or should imagine, this is a disaster for WWE as they now have to go back and rewrite a major portion of their show in which I was to be included in, and with less than 3 days notice. The fact that this could happen again at any given time my PO decides against me traveling, is good reason for WWE to be concerned in another major disaster especially with WrestleMania coming up. Could you imagine that 2 days before that show I'm told I can NOT go to Chicago. Please understand WWE's position, and believe in them as they have not closed the window of opportunity yet. We are working hard right now on getting all travel restrictions lifted. It is a good possibility that it will happen. If you really care and are concerned, believe me when I say, prayer works and is greatly needed and appreciated right now. I'm getting tons of e-mails from friends and fans hating Vince and the WWE right now. They are not at fault!!! And, they are supporting me on this, so no more hating on them, ok?? I thank all of you for your support, cares and concerns. I love you all!!! I do have a strong gut feeling everything is going to be fine!!!!

I guess I could understand the concern. Hopefully everything turns out okay for Jannetty and he can return to the WWE.
Maybe he should go to TNA? He won't have to travel that much and it would obviously be less stressful on him. But as far as this explanation is concerned; I hate his officer more than I hate Vince really. Doesn't his PO know that being able to travel is part of the WWE?
Well Marty, no offense to you, I still hate Vince for putting you in an angle trying to kiss his ass and so forth. You deserve better than that.

Thomson has a strange proposition: creating a new covert black-ops group using the Superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment. The WWE's talented men and women are perfect. Highly skilled athletes with the ideal cover, they travel all across the country and the globe; no one would find it unusual to find them in a town one day and gone the next. Comment Art cover. This is the art cover (the was also a photo cover, see #1B) An Image Comic (S) Kevin Nash & Marat Mychaels (P) Marat Mychaels (I) Jaime Mendoza (C) Mark Nicholas Kevin Nash, one of the true superstars from professional wrestling, bursts onto the comic book publishing scene with his debut book, NASH. In the year 2023, there is no money, no middle-class, no justice, and no hope. Food is the only commodity in a world divided into two social classes: the affluent elite, who live in the domed cities; and the tattered poor, who inherit the unwanted wastelands. In the middle of the injustice steps a massive man intent on giving the establishment an ass whooping and the poor a piece of the pie. The legend of Nash spreads hope outside the domes and fear into the heart of Cyruss Storm. Storm, the self-proclaimed leader of the World Food Distribution Corp., a.k.a. the WFDC, controls the world's food supply and thereby controls the world. Nash, the only man with the balls to stand up to Cyruss and the WFDC, has his own ideas of social change and a new world order. An exhilarating, action-packed, balls-to-the-wall thrillride full of plot twists, betrayals, big guns, and lots of scintillating babes. Co-written by Kevin Nash, himself, with artwork by Marat Mychaels. Stunningly colored by Mark Nicholas. Don't miss out on the book of the summer of 1999. Note : This issue ships with a special photo variant cover in a 50/50 ratio. FC, 32pg"

I actually would like to see him beat up Triple H with the sledgehammer at SNME, totally turning on him. It would be so stupid on the WWE's part to keep Cena face and Trips heel at WM22. In fact, I don't even think Vince or the WWE would be dumb enough to keep it the way it is right now.....
I'm sure they still want Triple H to be their number 1 heel though. He could turn heel later in the year, but the fact that they couldn't keep him face for one night (RAW Homecoming) proves how interested they are in it.

Yeah, they may want to, but it would be incredibly stupid if they continued on with it. I mean imagine what had happened if they kept Austin a heel after Wrestlemania 13. Or if they had kept the Rock as Rocky Maivia, the blue chipper.
It's an entirely different situation right now than at Homecoming anyways. They're going into their biggest PPV of the year with their "top face" getting booed to hell no matter what he does and their "top heel" getting cheered on. It would be very, very stupid if they kept things the way it is. And somehow, I don't think the WWE would allow things to stay the way it is....

Yeah, the closest any of Cena's other opponents ever came to shooting on him was when Edge called him "overrated", and even then it could be construed as the ego of the character.

Along with giving a reason as to why he will not be on this tomorrow night's RAW, Marty Jannety also posted the following on his Myspace:
"You guys have an easy ass job, report what you can't do yourselves but wish you could. Now with all the legit craziness in the wrestling world, it seems you wouldn't have to stoop to writing and putting out info to your faithful readers, that you have not researched and have no idea of its validity. But of course, reporting the truth isn't what you are about now is it. Any opportunity to bash anything or anyone in wrestling is paramount to you. It doesn't really shock me that you have done this with me, as I've seen your garbage quite a bit over the years. Since it has not included me, I just shook my head in disgust and disbelief that you parasites exist at all. Take away this industry that you love to bash at any opportunity, legit or not, and you would become poor, sorry sap, street bums with no jobs. With that being the truth, one would think you would show a little more respect for what pays your trailer house rent. But again, nothing surprises me out of you fools!!! I just wonder do you feel like the idiot you are every time one of your ridiculous stories is proven false, or, are you too busy working on your next BS story to worry about how stupid you look.."

I'd actually welcome a Cena heel turn at this point. However, from what I can gather, this is just more gimmicky stuff before Mania. This is supposed to be "WrestleMania Flashback" or some crap. Triple H/Kane from WM 15 (I was there :)) and Big Show/Cena from 2 years ago.
I've felt Show is underutilized. They treat him as they Kane (funny how they're a tag team now). Show, like Kane, is viewed as a monster and 'punishment' when someone ticks off Vince/the GM. Yet, he never really gets into the title picture. Like you said, Show is funny and good on the mic, but they can never seem to decide on what type of guy they want him to be; intimidating destroyer or likeable giant.

Show has a great personality and I've always felt for a man his size he held his own in the ring better than most. I still feel, even though slower than he was 2 years ago (pre knee surgerys), he can still carry a heavyweight title run for at least one more time.

And Big Show has an immense amount of loyalty to the WWE. Remember the time after WM 20 when Smackdown lost both Kurt Angle and Lesner like in the same week? Big Show was due to leave as well to get surgery, but he stuck around longer than he should've to help some other wrestlers get over.
And the guy seems like a huge class act

He does seem like a genuinely good guy; not alot of ego and political BS (unlike some top card guys who will remain nameless). Unfortunately, WWE doesn't tend to really reward loyalty like that. Your character just takes a hit and you hope the audience doesn't hold it against you.

Well he does have his share of title reigns in the WWE. And he's always getting a push every now and then :) And to be honest, I really can't see him getting a long WWE title reign. I just like his title reigns at what they were: 1 or 2 month reigns just to help the other guy get over

Yeah, he hasn't been ignored completely. Some tag, HC and US title reigns. I was primarily thinking about his Heavyweight title reigns (2).
I remember his first when Austin got ran down at Survivor Series and Show was thrown into the Triple Threat. He won it and then had that awful feud with the Big Bossman (although I remember laughing uncontrollably at that scene where Show was chasing Bossman who was dragging his dad's casket. Now that's funny). :D

Yeah, that wasn't a very memorable title reign. I did like his second one though, particularly his feud with Brock Lesner. He played such a great heel to a just turned Lesner
I always found entertainment in his feuds with Angle and Lesner. Seeing other wrestlers throw a man his size around is always a sight, and many of the matches have, in my opinion, been quite entertaining.

I like Big Show as well for the same reason I like Angle. They're characters don't limit them to being one thing (Like characters like Cena,Undertaker,Boogeyman, etc.) They're very versatile and in Big Show's case he can either be a dominating heel or a loveable giant. He's definitely got good mic skills, and if it wasn't for his condition he'd be a lot thinner and be able to pull off bigger and better moves. I remember in WCW when he was much thinner and he would do the moonsalt, and he did a damn good moonsalt.

I remember the moonsault when he was The Giant (although when I mention it, people think it's BS). Damn impressive.

Well, I suppose Shane vs. HBK won't be so bad to see. That whole speech thing didn't need to take up that much time, but at least it didn't take up the ME time like most of Vince's bull****.

Anyone notice they just used the "WWF" old logo?
I thought they try to stray away from that as much as possible
