so has anyone seen the great khalis bio at wwe.com?? this **** is freakin hilarious and ridiculous at the same time lol
"Brought into the WWE by Daivari, The Great Khali’s intimidating frame has caught the attention of everyone. Hailing from India, The Great Khali stands at an impressive 7 foot 3 and weighs 420 pounds. The Great Khali has walked the jungles of India unafraid of pythons and wrestled White Bengal tigers. Daivari claims that The Great Khali has “stared into the abyss and the earth trembled at his gaze.” One of the largest athletes the WWE has ever bared witness to, The Great Khali stands to be a powerful force and a threat to every member of the SmackDown locker room. ROH owner Cary Silkin talks about the product
By Neal Jones
ROH's owner Cary Silkin was the 2nd guest this week on www.inyourheadonline.com. Which can be heard live every Wednesday at 6:00 PM with Jack, OneInchBiceps and Barbie Richards.
The hosts welcomed Cary to IYH, and mentioned the upcoming 100th ROH show, for more information please visit www.rohwrestling.com.
Cary talks about being in England soon. They are on the wrestling channel in the UK, and through Alex Shane they have booked 2 shows in England on August 12 and the 13th.
Carry says they are coming off their biggest weekend in company history, over 3600 paid for the weekend. Jack asks about the Lance Storm Bryan Danielson match. Cary says he wasn't really a big Storm fan, and he was in a tough spot being on such a loaded card. Cary talks about the Dragon's Gate guys were so great and hard to follow. And the culmination of the Colt Cabana Homicide feud. Cary says Lance worked hard and they would love to have him back.
OIB asks what Cary would tell people who have never seen ROH before. Cary says if you are a wrestling fan you will get more action in 20 minutes than a 3 hours WWE show, barring a PPV.Cary says you will not be cheated by buying a ROH DVD or seeing a live ROH show. Cary says it's really exciting that ROH grows into new cities.
Jack asks if some people have the wrong idea about ROH, being all straight wrestling and don't know about guys like Colt and Prince Nana. Cary says there is a good mixture in ROH, great wrestlers, high flyers, hardcore and always looking for new talent. Cary says they respect the legends and bring in guys like Ricky Steamboat, Jim Cornette, Bobby Heenan, Mick Foley, Bill Watts and more. Cary says the indy crew are so young, and the veterans were guys who worked 7 days a week and can teach them so much about nuances and subtle spots of the business the young wrestlers wouldn't know with out their help.
Jack asks what the old school wrestlers think of the product. Cary says they all have enjoyed it except Bill Watts. Cary talks about the Dragon's Gate wrestlers being totally ridiculous in the ring. Jim Cornette was blown away by seeing them, and he's been around forever and seen it all. Cary says they are the next level after an AJ Styles type wrestler.
Cary said he was happy to see Colt on RAW, he is aware they are a breeding ground for WWE. He says they can't nor do they want to stop guys from going to WWE and making money. Cary says Colt is a good guy and a student of the game.
Duckman, IYH fan, asks if ROH would want to be a WWE developmental territory. Cary says they have never been asked. Cary says Mick Foley pitched an idea to WWE for Samoa Joe, and it didn't go over.
Jack asks if it is easier to bring in guys like Kobashi and get instant reactions since the fan base is so knowledgeable. Cary says absolutely. He brings up the Dragon's Gate wrestlers, and how all the fans knew who they were. Cary says they continue to have a good working relationship with Japanese promotions.
OIB asks how the working relationship with CZW is. Cary says Chris Hero and Necro Butcher have been involved with some shows. Cary says it's exciting but they don't have a real working relationship. IYH fan Jobber asks about the CZW fans. Cary says the fans are great, and a mixed CZW vs ROH show was the first time he saw a football type audience. Where half the crowd cheered for their team, and the other for the other team. Jim Cornette is going to be calling Zandig out on the 100th show.
Cary says they have Christian Cage on an upcoming show. Jack asks why they decided not to use Abyss. Cary says he is friends with Abyss, and met him in Puerto Rico. Cary said he had some great matches in ROH, they don't have a lot of big guys and they can't have everyone on their show. But he can be back at any moment.
Jack asks if Tedy Hart would ever be back. Cary says he is a great talent but he doesn't see him coming back. Cary says they have a great dressing room, everyone gets along no backstabbing.
Barbie asks about Johnny Fairplay being backstage. Cary says yes he was, and so was Billy Corgin from the Smashing Pumpkins. Fairplay sat and watched the whole show, nothing bad to say about him. Barbie asks about the rumor Samoa Joe tried to stop him, and Cary said it wasn't true and not to believe everything you read.
IYH fan Casper asks what he thinks of TNA booking. Cary says they are pushing a zillion guys and only have 42 minutes a week. Cary says the product is good, but they have a booking team and they fight over who they want to push. Cary says he's glad ROH has one booker, who is great 98% of the time. Cary says it's good for both promotions to do well.
Jack asks how ROH would deal with the time constraints of TV. Cary says that's a good point, and he isn't sure what they would do. They are talking with some TV deals but nothing as of yet, and they would want more than 43 minutes. Cary says they are also looking at the possibility of PPV.
Cary says tickets go on sale May 1st for England, and you can buy tickets on www.rohwrestling.com or at the vents themselves.
Jack asks the difference between watching ROH on DVD and being there live. Cary says there's no comparison, you are their live, and close to the action. The DVD's are well produced but you can't beat the live experience.
Cary says there isn't anything to say about Low Ki. He has been on and off with TNA since it started, he is great but some people are tough to deal with. Who knows what will happen, but he would love to have him back some day.
Jack asks what guys Cary is a fan of. Cary says Samoa Joe is a throw back, and guys like Jack Evans are crazy to watch. He's also been happy to see the development of guys like Roderick Strong and Austin Aries. They were good indy wrestlers in 1994, but to see them work hard and become stars right before his eyes is amazing. Chris Daniels is amazing and can work heel or face. Even a character like Necro Butcher. Cary says they are going back to characters like Umanga and Boogie Man in WWE, it's something that has been missing.
OIB asks about VHS and DVD's. Cary says VHS is over.
Cary in closing thanks everyone who has helped the ROH promotion.

New Japan Pro Wrestling to hold US Tryouts
Tokyo, Japan and Santa Monica, CA On March 31, 2006 New Japan Pro
Wrestling Co. Ltd. (NJPW) Executives announced the formation of
Wrestleland and Lock Up. These new brands were created to allow pro
wrestlers from around the world a chance to perform in Japan and advance
to the NJPW branded ring.
This is very different from what we have done in the past as each
Company has a different theme. We plan on producing these shows on a
smaller scale than traditional NJPW. Wrestleland is themed around
entertainment with drama that will make the fans smile with a lot of
color, while Lock Up will feature more of a sports theme with tough
competition said NJPW Vice President Naoki Sugabayashi.
The try out will take place at the New Japan Dojo in Santa Monica, CA from
April 28 30, 2006. The schedule for the try out is:
April 28 Try out day (1:30 PM)
April 29 Call backs (10:30 AM)
April 30 Weekly Dojo show (Fighters may be asked to participate in the show)
This is very exciting for our company because it will allow us the
Opportunity to meet new people and send them to Japan. With these two new
brands there will be a lot of spots to fill so the chances are good for
people thinking of attending the try outs, stated NJPW President, Simon
Inoki. I know some people think that try outs are a waist of time because
the chances are so slim, but we are seeking new faces, styles and
characters, continued Inoki.
Pro Wrestlers interested in attending the try out should RSVP by calling
310-264-9966 or info@njpw.com. Also please be advised that a $20.00
processing fee will be requested.

A VegasMagazine.com article on Stacy Keibler entitled "Mad Hot Ballroom Dancer" features the tagline "Dancing With the Stars' Stacy Keibler has left her former pro-wrestling notoriety behind for a bright and glamorous new life."
Most sources are of the impression that there is still some life on Stacy Keibler's contract with WWE, which explains why she will be making some public appearances for the company, but that she will severe ties with WWE when the contract expires.
As noted in the VegasMagazine article, Keibler has met with various TV networks—including ABC and NBC—about developmental deals.

Harry Smith, the 19 year old son of the late "British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, who recently signed a contract over WrestleMania weekend with WWE has confirmed when he will be joining the roster. On Smith's official myspace.com page, he has stated that he will be fulfilling all of his independent bookings before he starts with WWE. Smith goes on to state that as of right now (we all know how much WWE changes their plans) he will be starting with WWE on June 3rd. Smith notes that he will not be required to go to Ohio Valley Wrestling like most new WWE signees, and he will be starting right off the bat on the main WWE roster. It is not known which roster, RAW or SmackDown, Smith will be a part of. Saturday June 3rd, WWE is running a RAW house show in Bowling Green, Kentucky and a SmackDown house show in East Lansing, MI. It appears one of these towns is where Smith will join the WWE crew full time.

The thing is, I don't want him to leave ROH before winning the world title.
I think Colt and Punk are better off as singles guys.
If WWE let Colt do his thing as Colt Cabana, and used the Good Times, Great Memories, and transfer over his submission/European and comedy style of wrestling to WWE, he can get over. Supposedly, Cabana was getting some good reactions when he worked the WWE matches.
I wouldn't trust WWE to do that, but whatever. Basically they need to let Colt Cabana be Colt Cabana. He can fulfill a void in WWE left by people like Jericho and Christian.

WWE.com --
Last week, it was Triple H seething after being hit with an FU, while Edge tapped out from the agony of the STFU. What will The Champ’s Backlash opponents have to say for themselves this week on RAW?
Last Monday, Rob Van Dam and Shelton Benjamin traded match proposals. Will they settle their differences this week on RAW? And Trish turned the tables by becoming Mickie’s “obsessed fan.” How will the psycho Women’s Champion respond to Trish’s unexpected behavior?
And none other than Good Ole J.R. will interview Chavo Guerrero, who quit after an emotional match recently on RAW. What will Chavo have to say now that he’s had time to reflect?
All this and much more on Monday Night RAW (9/8 CT; USA Network).
It's not much, but I'd expect some more of the Kane promotion.

Boy was that interesting. Triple H stole the show as usual, this time putting on a little dance number for the crowd. One of the best lines had to be his reaction to the D-X chants: "One of us would have to convert." Carlito, Trish, and Edge came across as just okay. It seemed like the audience was much more into the other three wrestlers. Carlito was somewhat humorous in his arrogance. The way he talked about Masters makes me think the Masterpiece is going over. Trish got a much better reaction here than at WrestleMania. She asked if the crowd prefered her as a blonde or a brunette. The crowd shouted in unison: "BLONDE!" Edge did his 'I don't care if you like me, cause I hate you speech.' HBK was great. He talked about how the Lord is with him wherever he goes. He showed his love for religion, but wasn't too bibley about it, and it allowed him to be very effective.
Cena is where it got interesting. He was somewhat off his game, but that is easily explained by the fact that the crowd wouldn't let him talk. After some exchanges of "TRI-PLE-H!" and "CE-NA!" from the audience, some people got too vocal with the "YOU SUCK!" chants. HBK got upset and walked out. When the crowd blamed Cena for it, HBK came back and said that he didn't walk out on Cena, he walked out on the overly vocal crowd. He told them to shut up and let Cena talk, and for the most part, they listened. He really seemed pissed off in comparison to his demeanor earlier at the Press Conference. Cena finished up with saying how big Backlash was going to be. "Carlito's hair is big! Parts of Trish Stratus are big! A part of Triple H is big (at which point Triple H started touching his nose)!" Cena sold the PPV as the biggest event IN THE WORLD. Gotta love a guy with a sense of humor.
Apparently, HBK doesn't like Cena haters. :D
The Boogeyman had surgery to repair his torn biceps on Tuesday, April 4th. The Boogeyman torn his biceps during a house show match with Booker T the week before Wrestlemania. The Boogeyman will be out of action until at least September or October. The Boogeyman's injury is the reason for the restraining order angle on Smackdown. The Boogeyman will turn 42 years old on Halloween, which happens to be the same day as his birthday.
Thea Vidale (Shelton's momma) has been off television for several weeks due to abdominal and intestine surgery. Her GI tract problems were complicated and required several surgeries. Vidale was under a short-term contract, and at this point it's unlikely that she'll be coming back to WWE. Last week on Raw, Shelton Benjamin showed off a new flamboyant character with a new wardrobe. Also, there were no mentions of Shelton being a "Momma's Boy", nor were there any mentions of Shelton's momma.
Pamela Rogers was arrested and released on bond for setting up a MySpace profile where she referred to a teenage victim's jersey number--a violation, prosecutors said, of her agreement not to contact the victim or to use the internet. Rodgers is a former elementary school teacher who spent six months in jail last year for having sex with a 13-year-old student. Pamela Rodgers won the 1997 Miss Monday Nitro competition when WCW was in Panama City during Spring Break of that year.

In the case of Orton the only chances you get is sticking things in people's bags.:o

I'm sure Chavo is gonna snap and say he's tired of being in Eddie's shadow and be a bitter heel.

Chavo better not take a page from Tim White.
I wonder how Chavo will up Mankind's and Kane's previous attacks on JR. Unless this is a real interview, where Chavo will poor his guts out and then cry and leave.

Orton's been sticking things all over thats why he is in so much trouble:(
I'd rather have Kane as the Big Red Machine, instead of having him best buddies with X-Pac
That's the only time other than his initial run as Takers long lost brother that he has ever interested me

I don't know if this has been reported here yet BUT great news, everyone!
-The Boogeyman had surgery to repair his torn biceps on Tuesday, April 4th.
