I actually like that more. JBL at least has some history with ECW from last year, unlike Cena, who just, well is Cena. And I actually like JBL as a worker. I know people will be like: "but Rey deserves a long run.", with Angle out, plus all the other stars, SD needs another draw so they don't go down any farther than they have. So RVD moving to SD is fine by me, I'd rather he stay on Raw and not challenge for the title at ONS but whatever.

TNA is presently negotiating to keep Rhino on the roster.

Raven and Team 3D, however, are not eligible to re-sign with WWE. Both have long-term contracts with TNA, and in the case of Team 3D, friends additionally say Brother Ray would never agree to work in the same lockerroom as Johnny Ace.

April 29, 2006


Kurt Angle has suffered a cracked rib. As a result of the injury, the Wrestling Machine will now be out of action for an undetermined amount of time.

The injury originally occurred on the recent European tour when Mark Henry delivered the World’s Strongest Slam to Angle during a match in New Castle. “At that point, I wasn’t even sure if I was going to be able to compete against Mysterio for the World Heavyweight Championship,” Angle later admitted to WWE.com. But being the intense competitor that he is, Angle kept his injury to himself and fought valiantly for the title he feels he rightfully deserves.

Unfortunately for Angle, the final straw came when Henry, perhaps realizing he injured Angle earlier in New Castle, dismantled the Wrestling Machine on SmackDown with a near 400-pound splash through a ringside table.

Just as he did to former World Heavyweight Champion Batista, Henry injured Angle to the point where he will now be out of action indefinitely, meaning he must forfeit his spot in the King of the Ring tournament. As a result, Booker T advances to the final round.

There shouldn't be a space In Newcastle it's all one word.

WWE.com under Michael Cole is undergoing a new direction to be more storyline oriented. They reported Angle suffered broken ribs from Mark Henry, which, is, of course, the TV angle. However, they didn't claim it was from the TV angle, which is really strange. Angle does have a rib injury in addition to his other injuries, but the time off to heal has nothing to do with that specific injury.

- Stories going around that RVD would face the Smackdown champ and not the Raw champ at One Night Stand are untrue, at least as of the end of business yesterday. The winner at Backlash faces RVD for the title.

Pre-face summary. Ok one, **** all of you in the North East. Necro Did an ROH show, thus negging on MXPW. In the tag tournament, Mike Modest & Donivan Morgan couldn't make it either so their replacements were 10x better... The Naturals. ****Yeah! Also I had an appifany... I am in love with SoCal Val. She's hot on tv & dvds, but in person 2 inches away (front row)... WOOD!

Match one Tag Tournament Quarter-final- Black Market vs Heartbeak Express w/SoCal Val. (So hot!)

Heartbreak Express is an aawful comedy act where a skinny douche who looks like the dude from coldplay & Dusty Rhodes clone that ate the original Dusty Rhodes. And yes it is exactly how it sounds, a rip off of the midnight express & every thing Michaels did since even before 1993. During the match, Val heard me say at her "I watch WEW!" & she actually broke heel kaybe for 2 seconds to say thanks & seemed genuinly flattered. (MEGA WOOD!). also Black Market aare vets in Florida. Most notetly MXPW. There was no way they were going out in the first round

Match 2 tag tournament Quarter final- Naturals vs. Modern day theory

Naturals played heels which was odd for me, but it didn't stop me from cheering them & booing the crap out of the locaals I've never heard of. Totally green, but the Naturals carried it well enough.


Match 3 Quarter Final- Backseat Boys vs SATs

front row is so awesome because not only is it where I fell in love, but it's also the place I called Trent Acid a ****** right to his face. 80% of the crowd (kids) booed him for being a heel, the other 20% (smarks) booed him because he is Trent Acid. Homicide & Low-Ki came out & distracted Backseat Boys. SATs win.

Match 4 Quarter Final- Homicide & Low-Ki vs The Briscoe Bros.

As expected, This stole the show. Real stiff. Low-Ki has loud kicks. Backseat came out distracted Low-Ki & Homicide, Briscoes win. After the match Acid shoved Chasyn the wonder jew & he got a version of da cop killa & ghetto stomp. Where homicide held him in the vertabreaker position & Low-Ki did a double stomp off the top rope to spike it down. He "broke his neck" (I don't knoow if it was real but if it wasn't they sold ir real well, but I don't think it is because Low-ki & Homicide didn't break kayfabe.

I found Da Cop Killa/Ghetto Stomp. I was sitting & hanging out with the kid who recored this... but I'm not the annoying one screaming "end his carreer" that was some dick behind ushttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XPZHEU8ZL-E&search=mxpw

Good, but naturally (no pun intended) it was shorter than I wanted. but no complaaints. Black Market win

Match 6 Semi-finals Briscoes vs. SAT

Good match, very fast paced & short (again it was only to be expected). SAT win wins after Joel hits aa sit-down power bomb but leaves is legs together & kneesup so its a back cracker (sick!). EDIT: P.S. Mark Briscoe's Chest was still red & welting from Low-Ki chops & Kicks (stiff)

Match 7 Kahagahs vs Kenny King

I was looking foward to this match & i am fans of both of these guys, but this was short & it didn't seem like it needed to be. what was there was fun, but it ended ubruptly... King wins

Match 7 Chaz(c) vs Warlord MXPW heavyweight title

Boring... I was expecting more out of Chaz & I know he can work. Warlord is awful, but he wins & is crown new champion... & know one cares.

Maatch 8 Finals Black Market vs SAT

#2 match of the night a lot of spots from SAT & stiff technical & power moves from Black Market. Just flat out great wrestling here & Black Market win the tournament.

Jim Ross will be replacing Joey Styles as the lead announcer at tonight's Backlash pay-per-view. A decision has been made for Jim Ross to become the lead announcer on Raw again, possibly as early as tomorrow night. If not tomorrow, then definitely in a few weeks.

Joey Styles will not be left stranded as he will more than likely be calling the new ECW show. It will likely debut in June.

While on the European tour, Palmer Canon was drinking at a bar with JBL, Chris Benoit and Dave Finlay. Canon was starting to get ribbed, and he got upset. Canon then confronted JBL about it, and before a physical confrontation nearly took place, he decided to quit. He then flew himself home after he lost to Funaki in a match on April 19 in Bologna, Italy. Within WWE, JBL is being made out to be the bad guy because of his reputation of being a hard ribber, however, Palmer Canon may have overreacted to the incident.
