Actually, I just found out, it was in fact Beth Phoenix. This is from her wikipedia page:
"Elizabeth (her real name) debuted on the May 8, 2006 episode of Monday Night RAW. She attacked Mickie James during her assault on Trish Stratus, after which James began berating her for seemingly ruining everything and questioning why she even showed up in the first place. It is believed her gimmick involves having a teddy bear who talks to her, called "Murdoch The Bear". The angle is expected to be similar to that of Al Snow and his mannequin head, "Head"."

wait for a couple of weeks to see this pan out, untill then, don't judge. I hope for the best & think it can get over. If not the character (which doesn't sound like a long running gimmick anyway) then the angle itself might get over (remember how over Eugene was 2 years ago.)

"A Wrestling Riddle Wrapped in an Enigma" Jigsaw vs. "The New Age Punisher" B-Boy vs. Austin Aries
Claudio Castagnoli vs. Roderick Strong vs. Jay Lethal

It probably had to do with two things. One, it was the wrong crowd to do it in. If it were in New York or Philadelphia, where Dreamer is more known, there would've been a bigger outcry. The crowd being pretty dead as well didn't help much. And two, it was a bit confusing initially. I mean, it was a triple threat match. When Foley first hit Dreamer, it seemed like the standard thing to do in those kind of matches.

WWE Smackdown/Velocity taping
May 9, 2006
San Diego, Calif.
Report by John Brown, PWTorch.com correspondent
Just getting back from the show tonight guys and I hope my memory isn't too bad as I totally have jetlag from the ride.
DARK MATCH/VELOCITY TAPING
(1) Funaki defeated Sylvan in a pretty good matchup
(2) Gunner Scott defeated Orlando Jordan via tap out. Orlando has seemed to step up his game and it shows
(3) Matt Hardy defeated Simon Dean with a Twist of Fate off the top rope. This was even better than their last matchup, Simon used a bunch of indy moves in this one
(4) Chris Benoit defeated William Regal with the Crossface. I liked what they were attempting to do here but technical wrestling isn't my thing, I'd rather Benoit bust out a moonsault like a great wrestler would.
SMACKDOWN TAPING
JBL opened the show with a promo. Usual stuff. Rey Mysterio came out at the end and confronted him.
(1) Super Crazy defeated Nunzio and Kid Kash for the #1 Contendership of the cruiserweight belt, Gregory Helms got in his face afterwards. Fast paced and exciting just wrestling should be.
(2) Mark Henry defeated Paul Burchill with Shelley. Paul isn't in Mark's league it seems, he's too generic and Mark was really something tonight.
(3) The Gymini defeated Paul London & Brian Kendrick due to interference from the champs. Afterwards Jillian came out and helped the plucky babyfaces pantsed MNM. I think Jillian will team up with them and they will be called PB&J.
(4) Bobby Lashley defeated Fit Finlay. Definitive match of the night. Hard, stiff, fast, hot, and sweaty are all adjectives I could use to describe this matchup as they brought the hate.
(5) The Great Khali defeated Rey Mysterio with a power move in a dramatic squash match. I touched Khali as he walked by me and his skin is wonderful.
Addendum
05-10-2006, 01:58 PM
I love fast paced wrestling, a wrestling clinic where both men show their technical abilities, and solid hardcore matches. I have a weakness for barbed-wire matches with no rope, just barbed wire. :D
Matches I loathe with every fibre of my being: Squash matches. Squash matches. Squash matches. Nothing says boring more than a heavyweight kicking the stuffing out of a cruiserweight because the program needs some filler time.

"We had to get past this. It had been brewing for a long time," says former World Heavyweight Champion Dave Batista in an exclusive interview with WWE.com about the brutal fight he had with Booker T Monday on the set of the WWE SummerSlam commercial shoot in Encino, Calif. The fight was so intense both men were left swollen and bloodied and it took nearly a half dozen Superstars to separate them.
"It’s over," says Batista. "We will agree to disagree. We won’t be friends, but we will work together. I can promise you we won’t cause problems." But Batista does have an issue with the way he's been portrayed in the locker room. "Some guys say I've been running around claiming to be the top-money draw in the company, that I'm carrying the WWE on my back. I never said anything like this, the rumors break my heart. I would never disrespect guys like Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H with comments like these. I am not a Prick!"
Batista says he hopes the issue is finally over. "I want to move on, it's like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I can't wait to get back to work again."

Quick story time which has a point I think... As a kid growing up, there was this one kid who I never got along with. From the earliest age, we were fighting. He kept messing with me, I kept messing with him. School, parks, inside, outside. We could never get along. One Sunday at church (I was forced to go as a kid), this same kid kept messing with me. I got sick of it, jumped over the pew during the church service and kicked his ass.
Since that day, we've gotten along quite well.

Dave Scherer of PWInsider.com
When I first read WWE.com's story about Booker T and Batista being in a fight at a commercial shoot, I figured that the story was a work, an angle to bring the returning-from-injury Batista back into the fold. I didn't think there would be a story about it on WWE.com if it were actually a true situation. Yesterday, I started hearing that it was really a shoot and after digging around, a number of people have told me that it was.
From what I have been told, heat has been building up between Booker and Batista for a while now, largely based on the fact that during his run as the champ, Batista rubbed a lot of people the wrong way by taking the "I have carried the company on my back" and the "I have drawn all the money" attitude. The feeling is that Batista came right in and got a top spot and didn't show the others in the locker room the respect that they deserved. That never sits well with the other workers. That is what Booker was referring to in his comments on WWE.com.
I also spoke to a number of Smackdown talents who said that they were happy that Booker said and did what he did. I was told a lot of them hugged and high-fived Booker for saying what needed to be said and then backing it up with his hands.
So, at this point, it's all a shoot. I would not be surprised to see it turn into a work down the road however. As for WWE.com, from what I was told they broke the story to "scoop" sites like this one.

I think it's a work too. No way did those 2 fight for 5 minutes before it was broken up. If they really fought, I doubt WWE.com would be dishing out the news. I don't recall there being an interview when Jericho had Goldberg in the guillotine or whatever.
Then again WWE.com at the time of that fight was really a piece of crap, and I doubt they'd want to talk about Jericho beating up Goldberg when Goldberg was being built up as the number 1 badass.

If it is a shoot, then I'm personally proud of Booker T. Funny how Batista is retacting all of his comments when I believe he said ''Aj Styles and Samoa Joe just can't tell a story'' and put his name up there with Undertaker and Triple H as the people who work their asses off the most.

From wrestlezone:
The new ECW brand is in dire need of some top-level heels. Practically all of the major names joining ECW are babyfaces. They are going to have to go outside for top heels. Edge and JBL are not going to be full-time heels for the promotion. The leading candidate to be the top heel in ECW is Ken Kennedy.
Another name that has been brought up for a top heel role is Eric Bischoff. He is still under contract to WWE and he is being paid thousands of dollars a month to sit at home. Paul Heyman is said to be negative at the idea of bringing in Eric Bischoff.
Al Snow has been offered a talent contract and he will be a part of ECW's initial launch.

At the Ohio Valley Wrestling TV tapings earlier tonight, Ken Kennedy attacked OVW Champion CM Punk to set up an OVW Title Match at next week's taping. This means Kennedy has been cleared to return to the ring and will no doubt make a return to the SmackDown brand full-time very soon. It was also announced at the taping that Kurt Angle would be wrestling at OVW's event on June 2 at the Six Flags Park. Although this appears to be when Angle will return to action after taking the last two weeks off with the company, last night's SmackDown taping indicated that Angle would be competing at Judgment Day against Mark Henry.

PWTorch newsletter notes
ECW
There is some concern with Dreamer's power since he envisions the new ECW being much like the old ECW, including an opportunity for him to relive his glory days as a top babyface. Heyman, meanwhile, is said to be much more interested in creating a new chapter that looks and feels different than the original, but is true enough to its roots to feel like a good sequel, but not a copy or an exact continuation. It's an uphill battle, though, to convince ECW fans that a corporate ECW is authentic.
The talent roster assembled of former ECW names who can work full time (thus excluding Mick Foley and Terry Funk) doesn't include enough durable drawing cards. Dreamer, Sabu, Sandman, Axl Rotten, Balls Mahoney, and Francine make up the core of the key ECW players assembled for the revival. Rob Van Dam will be the centerpiece, and there is consideration given to shifting some former ECW names to the roster such as Al Snow, Kid Kash, Stevie Richards, Nunzio, and Psicosis. Unless plans change, others with ECW experience will not be shifted to the brand right away, such as Rey Mysterio, Chris Benoit, Super Crazy, and Dean Malenko.
Lower card wrestlers such as C.W. Anderson, Danny Doring, Tony Mamaluke, and Jazz are among those also signed to deals. Lance Storm has turned them down (not wanting to work full time again at this point) and Justin Credible is under contract to the MTV promotion (and awaiting word on whether that project will go forward; if not, he'll be offered a contract to join ECW full-time). Masato Tanaka has been offered a deal. There was talk of even offering New Jack a deal.
Tazz took a dig at Michael Cole, by saying he did a nice job calling the Fit Finlay vs. Chris Benoit match, "but not as good as Joey Styles would have called it." It was the only hint so far of Tazz moving to the ECW brand, something that has been considered.
Vince McMahon continues to work hard to get USA Network to agree to carry an hour of ECW each week most likely in a late night weekend timeslot. The odds are said to be good, but not a sure-thing, at this point. McMahon is excited about this project, as he enjoys the prospects of expanding the WWE revenue streams with a third major "brand" under the WWE umbrella, and also eating up part of a market that others such as TNA and ROH were aiming at.

Great Khali did not wrestle at the May 7 Smackdown house show in Fresno. He attacked Undertaker after he beat Mark Henry. Khali is considered so bad in the ring that he's a danger to his opponents and a risk to himself. Khail was also pulled from his scheduled match in mid-Aprils European tour for the same reason. His match at JD against Undertaker could be his only high-profile WWE match before being cut loose because he's so inept
Thank God:up:
Although plans can change depending on crowd reactions, Umaga is being built up for a main event-level push after Summerslam, likely as a top heel challenger to Batista after months of plowing through opponents...

WWE has already sent TV ads to cable companies advertising the return of DX. Monday night, ads in Charlotte, N.C. during Raw advertised a DX reunion at the June 25 Vengeance PPV. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are expected to reunite within the next three weeks on TV. Hunter will be receiving a WWE Championship match against John Cena next week on Raw with the storyline that Vince McMahon signed the match. The DX reunion is considered a short-term angle, so don't expect new or returning faction members to be part of the reunion...
Hmmmmm i guess it's what i though,DX is being used to transition HHH into a full face
Rey Mysterio needs knee surgery soon. Rey, who is the current World Hvt. champion, is in good standing with management and he should be in line for a strong push after surgery. Although there's a lot of criticism of how Rey has been pushed as champion, and a lot of second-guessing the decision to return the belt to JBL at Judgment Day, Rey needed time off because of his knee problem which pretty much forced WWE's hand in taking the belt off of him. It's not being interpreted as a sign that he "failed as champion," as most realize he never really had a chance. He is expected to get a nice push after he recovers from knee surgery, perhaps getting WWE Title rematches. With Batista scheduled to return in July, though, he is expected to quickly move back into a top babyface spot, so rematches for Rey might not fit into the picture. Rey is known in the WWE locker room as one of the most easy-going, non-political wrestlers on the roster. He doesn't create waves, he shows up for work, does what he is told, works hard, and is friendly and affable with most everyone
Hope it's a better push than his current one

ECW was the place to go when you got tired of midgets and clowns on USA, and got bored with the same wrestlers staying on top as one storyline gets painfully stretched out for 4 1/2 years on TNT.
If this incarnation relies solely on the stars of their past glories, then it will get old quick. A balance has to be struck. If Dreamer and Heyman can find that balance with the old and new, it will be good.
Unless your name was Scott Steiner, there's no way that a heavyweight could look bad against a Cruiserweight during a squash match.

Apparently, CZW Champ Ruckus pinned Aries in the finals of Best of the Best. Afterward, Sydal, Strong, Daniels, and Aries destroyed him. Chris Hero came out, saying he wanted to cash in on his title shot, and was able to defeat Ruckus and become new CZW Champ. Interesting.

From the ROH Boards:
Samoa Joe NC (?) Necro Butcher
The whole thing went around 25-30 minutes, Necro came out through the crowd and knocked out Cruise...Then Joe came out. Necro KO'd the ROH ref (Kehner) and Joe KO'd the CZW ref (Remsberg). They fought around the ring for like five minutes and then Hero came out and they beat on Joe two on one. Claudio came out with a chair and nailed Joe. Then Pearce and Whitmer came out and they brawled all over the arena for like 15 minutes. The students carried out Joe. It was Hero/Necro/Claudio vs. Pearce/Whitmer and they teased a bunch of table spots (like powerbombing Hero from the apron through a table on the outside) The CZW guys went to superplex Whitmer through a table with Pearce on it and everything went dark and Homicide's music hit. Place went NUTS. 'Cide teased siding with CZW, then started beating the crap out of Hero. The students & co. drove out Hero and Claudio, which led to:
Homicide d. Necro Butcher in a crazy brawl. Sinclair came out and rang the bell, so this was an official match. They brawled around the ringside area for a while, then 'Cide told the fans to help him out. The threw a TON of chairs into the ring - Greg estimated at least 50% of the chairs were in there. Necro was laying on the mat, BURIED under chairs. 'Cide went back in and gave Necro a piledriver - kickout. Necro gave 'Cide a tiger driver - kickout. Then 'Cide suplexed Necro off the apron onto a bunch of chairs on the floor. He rolled him back in ring - Necro kicks out. He gave him a splash (I think) - kick out. Then 'Cide nailed him with a lariat for the win... Post-match, 'Cide said Necro can come back to Ring of Homicide anytime he wants.
****ing awesome. Homicide finally turns face. Another must buy.
