This is the X-Men division of the True Believers. This is the place to post all you're comments about the X-titles all my other favorite titles. This is where you get comic reviews, a monthy character analysis (every week), comic updates, pictures and all that cool stuff (if there is somthing you would like to see PM me about it). You can also post you're questions about characters, writers and the series in general. Anounce your first arrival and a membership list will be posted at the end of each month.

The people who join are loyal to the comics, defend good writing and on vs. poll we will vote for our Characters. We also want the characters to stay true to the way they originaly were and fight for mor comic book stuff in the movies like: Phoenix, The Hellfire Club, and give Colossus more screen time. WE BELIEVE IN THE COMIC BOOKS AND WHAT THEY STAND FOR.

When ever a listed title comes out the first person to get it will review it. When doing this please give it a star grade, a number grade or a ratio as in how good it was out of ten. Please use Spoiler tags or keep pressing return so people reading the top wont see the spoilers. These are the titles we can review.

It is the longest thread on the hype and it may have more posts that some forums. I am pulling to have this be the 2nd longest, Support the the titles above and do the same. Start posting people.

Here is my review of the Holy War Tpb.

The Holy war tpb is about Nightcrawler's question of faith and roll in the X-Men. It starts out with Alex Summers (Havok) getting out of his coma. Then Lorna Dane (Polaris) proposes to Alex. Next they decide to go to an island with an old collage professor of Havok's. The events there spark a holy war. Other things that happen is: Juggernaut and Jubilee join the team, Husk and Archangel's relationship heats up, Alex and Annie (The nurse) start a relationship, and worst of all Angelo "Torres" :rolleyes: Espinosa (Skin) dies :(. This book marked the true downfall of Austen but it is still ok.

I don't think I read that in the Ultimate comics and I've read all the comics on the Marvel site, but I'll take your word for it. I thought up the question when I was watching X-men: Evol. In one scene he was flipping through a book and then got up and ran around the room.

HISTORY: Kurt Wagner was born with certain unusual physical characteristics, but his power of self-teleportation did not emerge until puberty. Margali Szardos, a sorceress and gypsy queen, found Wagner an hour after his birth, in a small roadside shelter in the Bavarian Alps. She found his father, Eric Wagner, dead of a heart attack on the road outside. Margali is said to have found Wagner's mother lying next to the baby and dying, but this assertion has been called into question, and not even Kurt Wagner knows the truth. Margali took the baby to the small Bavarian circus where she worked as a fortuneteller as a "cover" for her activities as a sorceress. Wagner was never legally adopted by anyone, but was raised by all the members of the circus, who had no prejudices against "freaks." Margali acted as Wagner's unofficial foster mother.

Wagner grew up happily in the circus, and his two closest friends were Margali's natural children Stefan and Jimaine. Long before his teleportation power emerged, Wagner had tremendous natural agility, and by his adolescence he had become the circus's star acrobat and aerial artist. Circus audiences assumed that he was a normal-looking human being wearing a demon-like costume.

Years later, the Texas millionaire Arnos Jardine, who ran a large circus based in Florida, heard of the circus Wagner worked for and bought it. Jardine intended to move its best acts into his American circus. However, he demanded that Wagner be placed in the circus's freak show. Appalled, Wagner quit and made his way towards Winzeldorf, Germany, where Stefan was. He discovered that Stefan had gone mad and had brutally slain several children. Two nights after leaving the circus, Wagner found Stefan and fought him, hoping to stop his rampage. In the course of the struggle, Wagner unintentionally broke Stefan's neck. Then the villagers of Winzeldorf, who assumed him to be a demon who was responsible for the child killings, discovered Wagner. They were about to kill him when they were all psionically paralyzed by Professor Charles Xavier, who had come to recruit Wagner into the X-Men. Wagner agreed to join the group, but before they left for America, he and Xavier went to the Bavarian circus so that Wagner could explain to Margali about Stefan's death. However, Margali was not there. She held Wagner responsible for murdering Stefan, but years later, she learned the truth and she and Wagner were reconciled. Wagner was also happily reunited with Jimaine, who now lives in the United States under the name of Amanda Sefton. Known as Nightcrawler, Wagner became a member of the X-Men.

Nightcrawler remained with the X-Men for years. Eventually, however, he became a founding member of the British-based team Excalibur and is now the team's leader.

Wagner has recently been told that his mother is the mutant known as Mystique. To save her own life, she claims she had to toss the newborn child into a waterfall, yet Mystique may have wanted to mislead Wagner and may not actually be his birth mother. Wagner now believes that his mother is Mystique and when and if new information comes to light it is not known how Wagner will react to the news, or to Mystique.

Currently, Kurt is a member and second in command of the X-Men's away team. He is now awhere that his father is the devil.

1) Kurt’s first costume is the outfit he wore as a trapeze artist in the circus. Probably, it was replaced with a similar outfit made of unstable molecules after he joined the X-Men. [Giant Size X-Men #1] Nightcrawler wore this suit for years and several times returned to this look.

2) While he was a guest of Cloud Nine, Kurt’s costume was damaged. One of the Warpies, by the name of Silkworm, designed a new one for him. It was very close to the original one but also had some new elements. [Excalibur #63]

-) Apparently, Kurt was more comfortable with his classic look, which is why he returned to it only a short time later. [Excalibur #70]

3) A few weeks later, Kurt decided for a much more abrupt change. He grew a goatie, had a new haircut and his new outfit went along with his love for swashbuckling and pirate movies. [Excalibur #96, 98]

-) When Excalibur disbanded and Nightcrawler returned to the X-Men, he again wore the classic outfit from the days while he was a mainstay of the team. [Uncanny X-Men #360]

4) In the following months, Nightcrawler decided to become a priest in training and help out the X-Men only in emergency situations. In his absence, the mutants had adopted some sort of team look. Each costume had a big X across the chest area and Nightcrawler’s had shoulder pads similar to Colossus’. Otherwise, the suits were still individual and came in different colors. [X-Men (2nd series) #104-105] Kurt’s uniform had two versions in different color schemes. The one presented her has a red X on a blue bodysuit. The other version was dark red with a white X on it.

5) When Kurt fully rejoined, the X-Men no longer were wearing bright costumes, but using some leather outfits that almost look like street clothes. The members had a vast supply of different shirts, coats and jackets from which to pick. [Uncanny X-Men #395]

6) Recently, some of the team members returned to more individual looks, Nightcrawler being one of them. Though the design still goes along with the practical leather clothes theme, it now includes some silver and red elements. [Uncanny X-Men #415]

I stop collecting x-treme x-men after 25 for the lack of stories IMO right after shadowcat left, i left but ask someone or the comic book guy at your place to see if it was good

Hmmm... haven't read too much Uncanny but I'm a bigger spidey fan than I am of X-men. I still like Nightcrawler.

My favorite X-men character has to be either Iceman or Archangel. What are your favorite characters and why??? Damn, I feel like my English teacher. lol :D

My favorite characters are Husk and Colossus. Colossus because he has an awesome power and just has a cool personality. He is a great artist and I almost cried at his death and if that doesn't mean he's a favorite character what does. and Husk because she reminds me a lot about Colossus and I love Generation X.

I like Colossus as well. I read about him in Ultimate War and in other X comics I have.

I think Ultimate War was the best limited series with all of the X-men...

Captain Marvel #15 (#50)
The issue starts out as a bunch of Shi'ar, Skrull, and Kree are debating about what to do about Captain Marvel's insainity. When Captain Marvel comes all chaos breaks lose. All the ships fly after him and he makes Rick Jones commit sucicide. Just as the universe is about to rip up, Marv's Mom comes and says that she will make everything better. This was a stellar issue :D. Probably one of the best in the series and this will make a promising new story arc.

How much can weight can he actually teleport? Is there a fixed amount?

Is there any other color of fur an artist could of picked that would have made Nightcrawler look even better?

Which other X-man do you think would be a good match for Kurt (if there are any)?

1. They should really expand on this. There should be an issue back in the danger room which I haven't seen in a long time. Anyways he should be testing his limitations on how much he could transport and maybe something happens to him whehn he teleports too much.

2. I think blue was the best. I just took an image of him in photoshop and I don't think pink really is his color. Neither is anything else for that matter.

3. I always liked Nightcrawler single, but I think he should have a strong female friend. I always thought Storm was the one to do it, but seeing as how she's seemed to have lost her motherly attributes in X-Treme.

Of course that's what everyone want's but I really do enjoy the sub-plots of Uncanny. Not the actual story but the side-stories I enjoy reading very much. I think that they should find out that everything that happened with the whole Nightcrawler story was like a mind illusion or something for some inner meaning, I don't know what, but the whole Juggernaut and Northstar and the whole Xavier/Polaris/Xorn thing, the things should have actually happened. It only makes sense.

Thats where he is at the moment, if im not mistaken. Its also the dimension that Abyss sucks everything into.

Art sucks, blows, spit, swallows, bites, and chews at the same time. It isn't so much Kordays Pencils, more the inks. They lins are too light and the atempt at a smooth, realistic panels come across as bland and uninspiring. They don't bear any weight, and are seem like an half-assed try at Hitch/Quietly style art. The Inks need to be heavy, and for the "modern" approach that Claremont is going with his stories, they need to incorperate more shading.

The panels don't work. Better put, they don't flow. One page will have four consecutive panels with Rogue (anna:rolleyes: ) doing the same thing from different angles, then the next will have her doing a million and one things whilst talking to everyone on earth over the space of 3 or 4 panels. I don't think this is so much the fault of Korday, as Claremont. I can't be certain, because I haven't read the script, but Korday's panel-to-panel skills where up to par on NXM, even though his drawings were rushed.

Which brings me to Claremont. Claremont hasn't wrote an truely interesting issue since "Schism", this is of course my opinion, and others will differ, some think GLMK2 was intruiging (not me), some think that everything with "Xtreme" somewhere in the title is inherently bad (not me either). To Me, Claremont seems tio have good ideas, but much like Austen on Uncanny, or Millar when he was on UXM, doesn't know how to put them onto the page, then fatten or thin them to 6 issue arcs. With that out, I can say that I find myself compelled to read Xtreme, but I don't enjoy it. It almost feels like a chore, I can't explain it. I like the idea of reverse racism, and the idea that X-copr are bending Xaviers dream, but we already saw the full blooded versin of X-men Vs Xavier in Shism, which, In my humble opinion, was much more interesting that a few friends discovering that a former ally has done the dirty.

To this issue. As said, the flow is reall off,it doesn't seem natural, like a movie. It almost feels like Claremont is recycling situations to fill the pages. The dialog is medioicre, which is out of place on a mainstream title. And the characterazation is sub-par. It's not as bad as Austens rendition of Nightcrawler, Havok, or Iceman, but it's not on. The strange thing about this is that these are the characters that Claremont created! Rogue is a fiesty minsx because Claremont made her one, Storm is a sturdy leader, with godlike abilitys because that's a character Claremont needed to drive one of his early stories. These are Claremonts children, and it seems that he's lost touch. The only characters with any form of solid foundation are Sam and Sage.

This arc starts off at a fairly good pace, the opening of the issue is intruiging, and you do generally want to know what is going on. The way Spidey is brought into the picture is believeable, and the first issue keeps an all round consistancy.

Then we move to the next issue which gets even better, dialog is top notch, flow, characterazations, but then, the lame ass, stupid, and utterly useless ending, from here things get real bad, real quick.

The Next 3 issue consists of bendis warming his gloves with Ultimate daredevil because Mack stole the MU counterpart for 5 issues (ohh, poor Bendis). The story becomes pointless, and decends into bendis using clishe dialog, and stupid plots just so Wolverine, Daredevil, and Spidey can tussle with a bunch of Weapon X people.

Then the Xmen come in, er, no, they don't. #38 starts off cool, with weapon X mojo, then gets real bad, real qui.....so fast that it's unreal. if there's one thing that piss's me off it's overusing a character and making them bland. Now the only thing that rivals Logan as far as the X-universe is concerned for overuse, it's jean/pheonix. jean is *****y, and it's just too bad to discribe. And the last issue, while not as bad as the ones with daredevil in, is pretty bad. There's a cool badass SHIELD agent intoduced, but that's about it.

The art and covers are superb all the way through, but this is the Ultimate (AKA "Focus all talent on...") line.

Anyway, on Captain Marvel 15, I gave it a lowly 8.5/10 because the artist had trouble apperently adjusting to the discint (sp?) Marv feel... That's just IMO.... Chriscross was leagues better, and even the Ryan guy from the issue before was Damned good... The only thing I don't like in Chriscross style is Marv's hair, but that's because I used to the Carlos Pacheco, Ryan kind of feel of a version...

Me and RPG Swordmaster are writing a comic and we wanted the TB to help us with some stories. Below are the new characters and a breif history of what has happend.

Channel (Christopher James Braddock): Enormous mental strength gives him alpha-level telepathic abilities, allowing him to read minds, project his thoughts at others, release his astral form to travel great distances in reality or enter the psychic plane, stun others into paralysis or unconsciousness, and manipulate perceptions, memories and thought processes. can be activated to teleport him through his extra-dimensional access while accompanied by a burst of flame, a stench of brimstone, and a “bamf“ noise. Can turn negative energy in to psy beams he shoots from his hands. His psionic power gives him superhuman strength and intellect. The ability to arrange and re rearrange the molecular structure of an object changing its shape. London, England. Son of Archangel and Psylocke.

Sprint (Hallie Parker): Accelerated metabolism and leg strength allow her to move and react at superhuman speeds, perceive her environment at high velocities, recuperate in a fraction of the regular time, and resist the debilitating effects of air friction and high-speed impact upon the soles of her feet. The Pheonix Force gave her the ability to stimulate individual molecules to create heat, and generate concussive bursts and protective shields. Napa, California. Daughter of Flint and Maddie Parker. (no relation to Spider-Man)

Gargoyle (Beaufort Alexander Seyvil): Turn him self in to stone, leathery wings cause flight. Enhanced strength, instincs, senses, endurance, and slight invunerablity, also has super ariel and ground speed. Double hinged joints. alter his body at a sub-molecular level to morph to stone. Paris, France. Unknown parents.

Spark (Jeb Guthrie): generate bio-electrical charges from his hands that burn or cause paralysis. psionically emits an electromagnetic wave-pulse that can scan and perceive existing energy fields, or scramble the human brain's neural chemistry. absorb and amplify electrical energy, using it to supercharge his body and increase his size, strength, and durability. able to create electrical interference to disable machinery. vaporized chest cavity is filled with a fluctuating energy field that he manipulates through psionic biokinesis; he communicates telepathically through broad or personal thought projection and projects bionuclear energy discharges. Unknown Parents.

Quake (Geoffrey Eugene Braddock): Psionically creates earthquakes. Rock manipulation. Generates seismic energy to affect inorganic matter, causing it to shatter or disintegrate and create a tidal effect in the earth beneath his feet, propelling and manipulating that surface. Turns body in to solid rock with superhuman strength, endurance and durability. communicates with rocks. London, England. Son of Captain Britain and Meghan.

Network (Justine Elizabeth Howard): Advanced memory storage and total recall, sense mutants, initiate evolution within mutants, unleash potential mutations within others, reverse mental attacks directed at her against their owners. Her Cerebral cortex is on the same frequency as the survival chips encased in the brains. Everwood, Colorado. daughter of Lyz and Jeff Howard.

Portal (Catherine "Catie" Jemison): manifests spacial-shearing ability as teleportation portals for large groups of people. or energy shafts focused on her javelins that displace objects upon contact, either teleporting them or away disrupting them on a molecular level. teleportation through time and space. Solar generated plasma blasts. Castle Dior, Karnak.

Optic (Oswald Elliot Benes): X-ray and telescopic vision, discharge absorb ambient solar energy and electricity and metabolize it into explosive laser beams discharges from his eyes. Toronto, Canada.

I think I'll like these characters the best. I actually wanted to put together a Marvel comic a while ago but it had more to do with Spidey and Ock. I never carried it out though. I'm sure the stories you make up will be teriffic. :)

-Gargoyle is the trickster, the funny one, the class clown. When Mystique was visiting France she, Mr Sinister, Blink, Gambit, Husk, Thunderbird I, Colossus, and Skin (Long story ask me later) etternally froze him in his stone state to keep him alive to now and he is ready to help the X-Men.

- Arachnia is a total goth. Because she was adopted and her foster mother was killed by Sentinals.

-Spark is brother to Husk and Cannonball. Read the next Uncanny X-Men arc to find out more because all i know is form the preview.

-Ox is a big guy, but dispite rocky exterior he has a heart of gold. No back story known at the moment.

-Barracuda is very distant, like vision. He is always deep in thought and always comes through in the clutch. When he was drowning he got his powers but when his parents saw they kicked him off the island. He swam to Westchester and met Xavier while he was fishing.

-Quake is trigger happy on his powers. Unlike most mutants he calls his powers a gift instad of a curse. (Back story coming soon)

-Network is the youngest member at the age of fifteen when she first appears. She is nieve and loves Channel like a brother. not much is known about except she lived in Everwood Colorado (3 hours outside of Denver(Town of a thousand people)).

-Portal is very loyle, but doesn't think out of the box. Only talks if she has somthing Crucial to say. She was an alien on an unknown planet because the first child of the King was supposed to overthrow him (She does so later on).

-Optic is an idiot. He is just their to say the stupidest things. He has no back story beacuse he isn't worth the time.

The characters seem to be based on other characters like Cyclops for Optic but with different personalities. Archnia sounds like the one I'll be most able to relate to. Together they'll make a good team.

Here's a history of Channel, Sprint, Quake, Blade and Gargoyle

Sinister is Blade's father, and Channel's adopted father. He is very abusive, especially to Channel, and one night came home in a drunken rage, and smashed Channel's leg with a hammer. Then Channel's powers developed. Blade (who knew his powers, but hid them) created a sword for channel, who teleported away to fetch his horse. Without Channel, Blade developed a mutant-hating personality like his father. Channel rode his horse, Shadowfax to his cousin Quake's house, and they rode on the QE2 to America after Channel won tickets in a pool tourniment. on the boat they met a young girl named Amara Novela (who later becomes Channel's adopted daughter), and they become friends. Channel meets his Grandparents, in Pine Mountain, Kentucky. Soon later, they go to a Pro-Mutant assembly, It gets attacked by Blade and Sinister. In the fight Channel meets Gargoyle who he becomes fast friends with and Husk, his future mentor. The aftermath is the death of many mutants, including, Robert Braddock (Channel's Grandfather) and Prefessor Charles Xavier. Channel goes back to the school to join a bunch of mutants learn to be X-Men including his future wife, Hallie Parker. That is the long back story of the main characters.

So who do you think will get along with who as friends the best?

IMO, Network and Channel will get along well because they are both family and friends. Then Optic and Gargoyle ( Most class clowns get along with morons. I know because some of my friends are class clowns and people associate them with morons. Next, Barracuda and Arachnia, because goths tend to be distant and Barracuda is as well. Portal sounds like she's shy and we'll have the same feelings for each member in the team as well as Spark, Sprint, and Quake. As for Ox he'll be great friends with everyone.

Then it flashes to New Orleans where Gambit and Rogue are in bed. Suddenly Rogue touches Gambit and he wakes up suddenly in pain. They get tickets to get to Xavier's because she had a dream that on of the Sprint will die.

The Graduation Ceremony comences and everyone graduates. Rogue and Gambit barge in and The new X-Men leave with them to Genosha (what's left of it)

The get there and find a young girl named Kitty Pryde (evo version) Who is near death because Blade beat her. They fight Blade one on one and they all lose. Then Channel draws his sword and fights him as the brotherhood comes to help. Blade knocked Channel's sword out of his hand and is ready to make the killing blow and Rogue touches Portal and teleports Channel and she takes the blow and dies in Channel's arms. Then Arachnia joins the brotherhood and they take Kitty back to Xaiver's saddend by their first loss. "Blade: 1, X-Men: 0," Gargoyle says as thy ride in to the sunset.

Then Channel's powers developed. Blade (who knew his powers, but hid them) created a sword for channel, who teleported away to fetch his horse. Without Channel, Blade developed a mutant-hating personality like his father. Channel rode his horse, Shadowfax to his cousin Quake's house, and they rode on the QE2 to America after Channel won tickets in a pool tourniment. on the boat they met a young girl named Amara Novela (who later becomes Channel's adopted daughter), and they become friends. Channel meets his Grandparents, in Pine Mountain, Kentucky. Soon later, they go to a Pro-Mutant assembly, It gets attacked by Blade and Sinister. In the fight Channel meets Gargoyle who he becomes fast friends with and Husk, his future mentor. The aftermath is the death of many mutants, including, Robert Braddock (Channel's Grandfather) and Prefessor Charles Xavier. Channel goes back to the school to join a bunch of mutants learn to be X-Men including his future wife, Hallie Parker. That is the long back story of the main characters.

So if the group of mutants you just listed teamed up with the X-men which villains do you think could take on both at the same time.

I think juggernaut may be the only one who could possibly take them all on.

well i am still trying to figure out where and why the latest uncanny x-men story line has nightcrawler meeting his dad Satan, i really hope that story line gives a very good explination on why this secret is coming out now. and i just read the end of the Blockbuster arc on ultimate x-men, and i was a bit dissapointed, i thought those hunting wolverine would do more then just give up and leave us with no good villan to throw this at. well thats just my opinion

Captain Marvel, son of the like-named Kree hero, has been driven insane by his power of cosmic awareness.

The first time he did so, He and Rick wound up talking to earlier versions of them selves, exchanging views and/or trying to convince their predecessors to kill themselves.

Marv sealed off the first rift he used for the stunt but the danger remains that he might use others for the same purpose.

because no matter what people say, change is ultimately good. I think the best thing that could seriously rock the marvel universe is if Morrison kills off Xavier and have Jean become headmistress and leader of the Xmen.

um, it's a mutant with teleporting powers *insert whack plan* we beat you! Scott still fancies jean, iceman is still a walking talking joke, and beast is grumpy. These are people, they change. I dind it more interesting that Matt has taken a step up in DD or reed has gone bonkers in FF, or Betty has died in the HUlk, then I do about Spidey keeping his identity secret, and beating one bad guy after another. Xavier walking was cool, it shook things up, old fans complain about NXM, why do you think it's called new? AND since the begeining went in a totally different direction. If you don't like it, there are 2 other xmen books out (and a horde of wolvy minis). and in answer to Why? Because Xmen where in limbo, then after the first movie came out, marvel wanted to shake things up, enter morrison. If they wanted traditional, alien fighting, 3 yearlong plots, mutants vs human stories, they would ask Claremont or many other creators to write it, they didn't, and judging by NXm's sales compared to xtreme and uncanny, the fans don't want a different writter.


The point is, if a character or world doesn't change, you get tired. DBZ got boring after I watched goku return for the 5(6, 7, 8??:rolleyes: ) time, I watched one episode of GT and could tell how bad it was going to be. They never changed ought, or hinted at it, then brought in good ol' reliable, over used, goku. you want to see xavier in a wheel chair, go read old issues or Uxm, I want to see him become more than "the professor".

His invurniabilty saved him and he spent all this time in a coma (or Frozen) and he finally woke up in a world that was much diffrent and Jubilee and Polaris (She goes to an institute and Havok goes with Annie in to the wittness protection program to hide from Lorna. and with the team weak he joins to fill the gaps because his time and because of his time in a coma his spirit becomes in lightened and this is how he gets magic powers like Forge. With him back he will give Colossus a rin for his money as my favorite character.

Hmm.... I'd probably bring in a ton more villains and have more villain teams for individual heroes to go up against. I haven't seen many of them since the 90s and think they're awesome. :up:

intrersting. People dis me cos my favourite X-Man was maggott and he was only in about 10 issues, I never thought Thunderbird had ever had enough time to warrant people wanting him resurected. All he did was get angry and kill himself for the honour of his indian people. He wa a bit suicidal really. If he came back i would have thought hed just kill himself all over again.

Xavier gave Rasputin the code name "Colossus" and Rasputin aided Xavier's other new recruits in their battle against Krakoa. After the battle was won, Rasputin remained in the United States with the new X-Men while the rest of his family stayed on the farm.

Rasputin's family always remained in his thoughts. Shortly thereafter a woman known as Miss Locke kidnapped many of the X-Men's loved ones to use as hostages in order to force the X-Men to aid her in freeing her employer, Arcade, from captivity by one of Doctor Doom's robots. Among her captives was Colossus's younger sister Illyana, whom Locke had somehow kidnapped from the Siberian collective farm and transported to the United States. The X-Men freed Illyana from captivity, and she went to live with her brother Piotr (known as Peter in America) at Xavier's mansion. Due to her later captivity in a dimension known as Limbo where she spent years while only mere moments elapsed on Earth, Illyana became the adolescent sorceress known as Magik.

After Illyana was returned to her true Earth age, Colossus thought it would be better for Illyana if she went back to live with their parents. Sadly, her parents were slain and she was kidnapped by a mutant known as the Soul Skinner who hoped to genetically evolve Illyana to the point where she would have the use of her powers again. Colossus, with the help of the X-Men, saved Illyana and brought her back to the mansion.

Later, Illyana became the first tragic victim to be infected with the Legacy Virus and die from it. The deaths of his immediate family caused Colossus to rethink his position with the X-Men and join Magneto and his Acolytes, who had offered him an alternative to the X-Men's way of fighting and living.

His stay with Magneto was not long once he realized that Avalon was not the place for him, either. He left in search of the only person he felt truly cared for him, his former love and teammate Kitty Pryde, now a member of Excalibur. Colossus traveled to England, where he found Kitty in the arms of her new love, Pete Wisdom. Colossus, enraged, attacked Wisdom, and although the battle was short-lived, they both sustained minor injuries.

Colossus accepted Kitty's new life and chose to become a member of Excalibur. Once the team desolve Kitty, Colossus and Nightcrawler returned to the States and became active members of the X-Men.

Beast, one of his X-Men teammates, claimed to have found the cure for the Legacy Virus. Not knowing weather or not it worked Colossus injected himself with the cure. The result was fatal for him, but his actions allow a true cure for the virus to be found.

They already have included Northstar and though I think that they should play with that more I think it would be overduing it to through in a bunch of Gay people. But that takes away the point. Putting northstar in the UU to be the "gay guy" is stupid, the point isn't having someone who's gay, what's the point? so some poeple can complain on the net, and gay rights don't get down marvels back?

The point of having Ultimate Collossus reveal (not become, but reveal) he's gay is that

1) He's probably getting hit on by tons of girls since the Xmen became superstars

2) The Xmen staple (Cyclops, iceman, nightcrawler especially, jean, storm) would act funny toards him, it'd be a great story line revolving around cyclops not trusting him, and xavier showing him that he's acting like a hypocrit, then wolverine and beast (wolverine hating everyone anyway, and beast being above all that) would side with collossus, wolverine sees that jean really is chilldish, and that the X-men don't even know what they preach, maybe him leaving with possible subplots, or him burning a new fight with scott, and beast would have a ton of sexualy tension with storm, and with bightcrawler, there could be a great issue where he spends a day in NYC showing nightcrawler what Gay's have to face, then asking nightcrawler about his teenage years.

buit puting a gay character is, "just to be gay" is stupid. I'd rather no one be put in. Why don't you want him gay, is it because he suddenly becomes "different":rolleyes: like being a killer mutant (yes, he kills) wasn't enough:rolleyes:

on a side note, Marvel Collossus has too much of a history (especially with kitty) and he has a son in the savage land, so making him gay would be stupid.

It's hard to tell, her eyes are white and that looks more like lightning. The hair is white and not blonde and the skin is pretty dark, but Storm has never dressed like that.
