One person starts by saying an actor's name, the next responds with the name of a movie that person was in (it does NOT have to be a leading role), the next person gives the name of another actor in that movie. The next person follows with another movie that actor was in... and so on.

Exactly. You're not "guessing" a movie. You're giving a movie that actor was in, then the next post is another actor from that same movie, then a new movie with the new actor.... etc.
