That's the cover to the issue. For some reason, Alan Davis drew him lifting a building. In the issue itself (which I posted above) Aquaman lifts not just a building, but an entire city block. The message: beware of Atlanteans. :)

This is probably the wrong thread to talk about this but I feel the need to ask you guys. I just saw Spiderman2 right, and Dr. Octopus fights him. I ask you guys, Guyver and X, do you think that Batman COULD defeat Otto Octavious? I know some people that are blind to Batman would say he would but I know you guys are biased, so do you think so? I don't want to start a thread bout this so I'll just ask you here. The movie Dr. is good and is how the comic Dr should be.

One on one? Batman would be destroyed. I can imagine him barely dodging a half ass attack or two from Ock, but then the ineivabtle would eventually happen. Then again, DD has beaten Ock before, so who knows.

What's up Guyver and X? Got a question. Is Spiderman stronger and faster than Venom? I always thought that Venom was both stronger and faster until recently in a Venom comic, Spidey said he was indeed more advanced than Venom. Is it true or did the writer just F up with that comment?

I know ya didn't ask me Docker, but what the hell. I don't have the Spidey Encyclopedia in front of me, but I will say that Spidey is faster than Eddie, and that they are around the same strength. I think Spidey told Venom that, as he smacked him around some, because he's tired of him and was basically saying "Go f*** yourself Eddie." I'm thinking on one of the Spider-Man sites they would have the actual power ranking thing if you want to look.

That's exactly what I was thinking Corp. I don't know why but I always thought Venom was close to the 100 ton area, not as strong as the Hulk or Thor but close to it. I thought the only thing Spidey had on him was speed and even in that I doubted. I think the writer just messed up with that one.

Spidey is faster and and nore agile because eddie is bulkier. Venom is indeed stronger although I don't buy that 11 ton garbage from marvel directory, (hell I don't even buy thaat ton ton ratio for spidey either) sinnce venom has consistantly shown that he's ALOT stronger than spider-man. No where near class 100 mind. But I'd put him at least class 30

Hey I have a couple requests from the same arc (and it's one that I'm sure people will skin me for even asking). They're all from Uncanny X-Men, the Draco (Sorry but I liked it). There's quite a few so only do as you can, no presure from me. I'm grateful for any:

1) The church scene between Mystique and Azazel thru the next scene where Azazel tells her to raise it as Christian's in issue 428

2) The Xavier/Juggernaut scene from issue 429

3) The final fight scene on the island in issue 430 starting at the two page spread.

4) The Polaris/Genosha/Magneto story. The first page is in 430 where she's in the past and the rest is in 431

5) The last page of issue 431 with Mystique

6) Now I know this one's a bit long so I understand if you don't do it, but the Juggernaut stuff with Carter's family and his Alpha Flight battle. This stretches randomly over the last two or three issues.

OH and thanks X, I'd appreciate it. I know most hated Draco but I accually loved it. I wish they would have taken out or moved a lot of the side stories though and made the Draco shorter. But over all I liked it and all the characters, even Azazel and Kiwi Black. (I've always been a fan of Abyss and love that he's Nightcrawler's brother).

On the bottam of every post guyver does is a link to this thread. It takes you to a recap that has every picture there in a group. The Death of Aunt May is a little past half way down the page if I'm not mistaken. Just do that and you shouldn't have any problems. You can also look through what's been posted so you can find what you like and know what else to ask for.

okay since X may be doing those Draco scans for me I have a pretty big request for anyone who has the Child Within comics, Guyver I think is the one who had them. Here's the deal, I've always been a big fan of the Last days of Harry Osborne and was excited to hear they were coming out with a TPB of this. I was very disappointed in it and am now looking to get scans from this entire time period. It's good here because There's already a lot of that scanned. So I'm hoping if I ask in specific detail some here can do some scanning for me. I'll go ahead and post it all and if you can I'd be very thankful, if it's too much I understand. X if you can contribute then I'd understand if you didn't scan those Draco scans and did this instead as I know it's a big order:

1) Spectaular Spiderman 177 - The pages where Harry hears the voices. The first time is in the hospital pages 6 and 8. The second time is on the very last page. (Total pages 3)

2) Spectacular 178 - I see that we already have the scans of Norman's ghost scene but I'd like to get a scan of the one page where it shows Peter and Mary Jane in bed and then Harry and Liz in bed. It's the second to last page. (Total Pages 1)

3) Spectacular 179 - Again Norman's ghost, pages 14-16 (Total pages 3)

4) Spectacular 180 - Now here's where it starts to add up. There are two scenes in this issue. The first is with Norman's ghost from page 3 with the photo album through page 10 where he rips it up. The next scene is page 20 where Harry's saying his goodbyes through the end of the issue. (Total pages 15)

5) Spectacular 181 - I hate to say it but most of this issue. Basically everything minus the Vermin stuff. Pages 4-14, 16-24, 29-30. (Total pages 16)

6) Spectacular 182 - Peter's return from madness and Harry's silhouette, pages 4-11, 17-20. Also Harry's arrival in the end, the last two pages 30 and 31. (Total pages 10)

7) Spectacular 183 - Now you have most of this one scanned so it'll only be some odd and in pages. Pages 3-6, 24, 28-29 (Total Pages 6)

8) Spectacular 184 - The aftermath of Child Within. The stuff with Molten Man and Harry. Pages 1-13, 23. (Total page 11)

9) Spectacular 186 - Spidey searching for Harry. Pages 6-11. (Total Pages 4)

10) Spectacular 188 - Harry's return. Pages 9, 29-31. (Total Pages 4)

11) Spectacular 189 - This one you already have most of it scanned so again it's odds and ins. Pages 1-12, 40-42. (Total pages 11)

12) Spectacular 190 - Pages 1-8, 15-17, 29-30 (Total Pages 11)

13) Spectacular 199 - This issue doesn't have page numbers so I'll say the page where Peter comes home to find Harry in his apartment through the second to last page (as you already have the last page scanned). (Total pages 7)

14) Spectacular 200 - Being that this is their final battle there is a lot of pages but fortunatly you have already scanned some of it. Scan from page 1 through where you began scanning previously ( the page where the Goblin breaks through the window and attacks spidey). You can omit the two pages where spidey beats up the thugs. (Total pages 27, darn double sized issues)

15) Spectacular 204 - Harry's video watched. pages 6-12, 16-17. (Total Pages 7)

Okay and since Harrys last laugh was Spidey's parents a few small scans to contain that idea to complete the Harry Saga:

1) Amazing Spiderman 365 pages 30, 37-38 (Total 3 pages)

2) Amazing Spiderman 369 the second story pages 24-30 (Total pages 6)

3) Amazing 388 pages 7-10, 13-22, 31-36, 38-39 (Total Pages 18)

4) Amazing 389 - And to end it all the last 5 pages from Spidey hitting the gun away from Chameleon to the last page of Harry's final laugh.

NOTE: I couldn't think of an issue where Harry had a funeral. If there is then add it in there.


Now I told you it was a lot but concider it a challenge. I know it breaks a lot of rules and it's not something I expect now but I think it would be cool and I'm hoping some of you are spidey fans and would appreciate this. Now if it is way too much then just let me know and I will completely understand, but it's something I've always wanted and it was worth a shot. I've spent 3 hours researching and pulling comic after comic to make it as simple as possible for anyone who may want to scan. This is a great Saga and even moreso with the second Spidey movie ending how it did (not to ruin anything), it gives the idea of what may be in a 3rd.

Not sure about the whole DD/Black Panther thing. Take into consideration Murdock's pulled off wins against Doc Ock and Wolverine before, and Wolverines capable of going toe to toe with The Panther... Really DD doesn't stand a chance against Panther but he handed his arse to him in that book. I also have a comic where Typhoid Mary kills DD and that is the end of the comic. Well I have that entire book at my house on TPB and eventhough Captain America slipped and Batman saved his life, Batmad SAID that he lost. I don't understand why people keep saying that Batman beat him when he admitted he lost.

I would have never asked for so much but I have always wanted the full saga interupted, so I tried to be fair and be as specific as possible. It would be neat for your fans also who'd like to read what comes next in the story of Harry according to the comics.

Take your time with them and I am very greatful for any. If it ever feels like an overwhelming amount, just think of the good side....... I could have asked for the Clone Saga :)
