Thing has only won once. Bumpy Thing vs. Grey Hulk. Even then he didn't get the complete victory. He beat grey Hulk's arse in the FF mag and then when it crossed over to Hulk mag, Grey Hulk outwitted him. (crap since Ben has had to outwit the Hulk for years just to stay alive) Anywho... it's kind of a half victory but it's the closest Benjy has ever come.

A question, since its been a while since Iv read Secret Wars, would you happen to know what kind of ray that was he hit The Hulk with? Was it that disinagrator that he tryed to use on Thor earlier? I just couldent imagine what else it would be, to badly injure The Hulk's leg... I mean, when he went back to Earth he needed a crutch for like 15 minutes, and then he got mad and it instantly healed, but still...

Wolverine take a pummeling from The Hulk? The Hulk nearly took his head off with glancing blow...damn near killed him another time, killed him on an alternate Earth, almost popped his head with a thunder clap, and so on. He cant take a pummeling from The Hulk, he just lasts through the fight, his speed is the only thing that saves him. But on paper, The Hulk is faster then Wolverine as well, considering he can tag Quicksilver, Super Sabra, and other speedsters...

Spidey fought Carnage, shreik, demogoblin and carrion AT THE TIME BY HIMSELF once just to buy time for the other heroes. He let the juggernaut pound him senseless to try and stop him. Even if it meant his death he would not let go.

That issue was garbage, epecially the whole "he's doing something to my mind, making me move in slow motion "

see, this is what bugs me.
if spider-man isn't invulnerable, juggernaut's punches would simply kill him.

one day kingpin can land a punch, and has the strength to hurt spidey, then another day he can take a beating from juggernaut, and this morlun guy i've heard about.

completely inconsistent.

i know wolverine has had some dumb crap happen to him recently, but it's nowhere near as frequent as the ehf ups in spider-man's history.

i really like wolverine, but i know he can be beaten.

and i contend that spider-man can beat wolverine from a distance, but with some trouble.
but if he gets too close, he'd get diced up.

i'd love to see wolverine get him into a small, enclosed space.

if spider-man lived up to his on paper ability, he'd decimate wolverine, but since he rarely does, i don't think it's a cut and dry thing.

That is ridiculous. Pig stickers? one shot with his claws and spiderman could be dead, if not badly wounded. I guess the nuke was buried under the "island," if you can call it that. It was more just a slab of dirt on the ocean. Either way, there's a lot of technicalities about it. They never mention the payload, they never say how deeply it's buried, etc.

Yep. That's why the priest detonated the nuke. Thor had gone so far as to try and resurrect a dead girl. He healed her body but she was just an empty, mindless shell. The priest brings her out from behind a rock and shows her to Thor to "confront" Thor with his sin and ask him for the last time to leave Earth. Thor refuses and priesty go boom. :D

I haven't seen the Hulk get hit by many nukes. How many times has it happened, besides that Maestro/WM Thor fight?
