First off, thanks to guyver. It looks like Warlock only managed to stop Thor's hammer with his face after that first time, though. :o

gl: Thor's warrior madness is just an Asgardian battle thing. It's basically like a super-dose of adrenalin; once he gets into it he goes completely berserk and cares about nothing except the fight. His strength and speed are a bit higher, too. Supposedly a LOT higher, but I've never seen anything to indicate a really large increase. Maybe a jump from class 100 to 150 or so.

In "Blood and Thunder," when Thor took the power gem, he was also in the grips of warrior madness and, thanks to the Valkyrie in his head, plain old-fashioned madness as well.

can u post the end few scenes of the fight between dr.octopus and hulk, when dr. has adamantium arms. it is in spider-man. hulk gets beat pretty bad. also, the fight where hulk beats dr.octupus, a hulk comic i think. either will do. thanks.

You know, the basic Superman problems...

His strength level is so up and down, I just hate it because it's hard to get a good feeling for the character, what he's capable of, who he is. He's picking up thousand of tons one seconds and the next getting his ass kicked by Venom... :rolleyes:

He doesent have that edge... I can understand being a "boy scout", and being the all american super hero, blah blah blah, but come on. He needs to get in more knock down drag out fights like the one with DD, he doesent have to die, but come on... I want to see a real struggle, real heroism, and so on. Plus he needs more interesting story ideas, he's just so black and white most of the time. Remember those Superman story's about wife beating I brought up? Like that...more variety. He doesent always have to be doing something amazing...

I want a more insightful look into the character, I want the moral dilema's and the stress that being like him would present. I want some level of realism. Not, "Hey honey, I just took out Luthor and his goons and blew up a space station!" "How was your day?" More variety and such... I dont know, just so much wasted potential in my opinion...

That topmost cover sucks monkey tits. Venom's lopsided and his anatomy's off. Bagley's never been the tightest artist or a big perfectionist when it comes to his art (look closely at any of his mainstream Spidey covers and you'll find anatomy errors galore) but that's just horrible.

I think he was experimented on by some big company. 2099 was all about that "ditch the corporate monarchs and return to nature" type of deal. Apparently the hippies survived well into the next millennium in Marvel. ;)

No, this was during the acts of vengeance story line when all the heavy weight villians like Dr doom, red skull, Kingpin, Magneto etc all joined forces to get kill the enemies. Of course none of them trusted each other (you can imagine what magneto thought of the nazi war criminal red skull:D). Dr Doom tried to steal spideys cosmic powers using a robot called tess 1. Maggy was going to RECRUIT spider-man to help mutant kind ( because he thought spideys new powers were part of a mutation ie he assumed he was a mutant).

I just dont get what's up with The Hulk being afraid of the symbiote, especially the mindless Hulk, I mean, come on. He's just finished taking on The Avenger's, S.h.i.e.l.d, Hero's for Hire, and just about everyone else, and then he's going toe to toe with Thor, and then the symbiote scare's him? Come on... And if it tried to take over The mindless Hulk's mind, in my oinion it would probably end up killing itself because The Hulk was pure anger/hate/rage at that time... My opinion anyhow...
