Man, that's a tough question! I'd have to say Total Recall 2070...I'm a "future noir" nut, so that show was like gold to me. It actually had nothing to do with the Schwarzenegger movie, thankfully. It was the closest thing we've had to getting a Blade Runner TV series. When I first saw it, I initially thought it looked like crap, but I soon realized that I was extremely wrong, and now I wish it had lasted a lot longer than it did. Total Recall 2070 would be a perfect show for the Sci-Fi channel to pick up!

The Tick cartoon was great fun, but looking back, I feel it came up a bit short of what it could have been if they'd been able to make it closer to the comic. Sadly, the live-action show bored me (and nearly everyone who tried to watch it) to death! What a disgraceful letdown! If I were going to revive a cancelled comedic-superhero show, I'd choose Freakazoid! over the Tick any day of the week.

This just in.I just found out about Playmakers. It's not getting renewed because the NFL feels it portrays a bad influence on the league.Which may be true.

We should also cancel CSI because it portrays killers in a bad way.And Simple Life because it makes rich people look stupid. And Everybody Loves Raymond because it makes may offend every sports writer...etc.

Actually, I do have the first two episodes on a DVD (yes called- The Master Ninja) that I remarkably got for like $5.99 at Borders once.

Yeah, that's the one. But the shows I saw came from the original 1960's Japanese series that was brought to American TV in the 80's. It was about a pilot (Shin Hayata) in a high-tech, special task force who was accidentally killed in a mid-air collision with a visiting alien spaceship. As atonement for his carelessness, the alien pilot (Ultraman) assumed the body of Hayata and basically took over his life, without anyone knowing who he really was. Whenever giant alien monsters from outer space attacked the Earth, the hero would pull out a scepter-like device that turned him into his giant-sized alien form, and go fight the monsters. At the time, it was pretty awesome stuff...for a 7 year-old, at least. :)

1. Alf
2. Dungeons & Dragons cartoon
3. LoneStar cartoon (where the sherrif had the powers like 'eye of eagle' and his horse had a gun named 'Mary Jane' and the dingo's always were trying to steal 'Cactus Sweet Water' it ran on NBC late 80s- early 90s)
4. a revisioned Incredible Hulk TV series, this time the Hulk able to speak (Lou Ferrigno has said he'd love to play the Hulk again, that guy is in better shape than he was when he was originally cast)
5. I liked The Flash
6. Nintendo Kid (guy sucked into the world of whatever Nintendo game he was playing, had the very first Nintendo game control as his belt buckle)
7. Maybe a spin-off of a DuckTales character 'GizmoDuck'

Isn't it pathetic that I remember the premise of these maybe unheard of cartoons?

The only live action sci fi series that had kicka$$ space fights. STAR TREK didn't even hold a candle to this.

12) Futurama

THe only time travelling series... n can you imagine... cop from the future. THe idea itself is too cool.

14) Fireflies

Farscape and Firefly.

Fortunately, there will be a four part Farscape mini series airing on the Sci-Fi channel this fall. That's better than nothing and at least they'll wrap up that horrid ending they were forced to air.

Fortunately, there will be a Firefly movie. So why doesn't Sci-Fi channel pick up this series? They really need some decent shows--I hardly watch them at all since they dropped Farscape. All the Sci-Fi channel airs are bland, silly, badly-made, badly-written creature feature crap and really lame, poorly conceived series.

Anyway, what I would like to see come back (but never will):

The Invisible Man
The Visitor (the sci-fi series with John Corbett staring)
John Doe (so why didn't the Sci-Fi channel pick this up?! It's cheap to make and better than the crap they usually air)
Birds of Prey
Night Stalker. This is an old old TV series about a man (Darren McGavin asCarl Kolchak)who hunted down creepy things like Vampires and such. I remember I was a kid and everyone in my family would gather around to watch it. Very spooky! It'd be great to see an update of this.

There's a bunch more I can't think of. The shows I like are always canceled. Currently I'm watching Smallville, The O.C. and Alias, fortunately it seems that these are pretty healthy.

You're thinking of Knightmare and that show was indeed excellent. Treguard was the Dungeon Master and every week a group of kids would be questing for either a cup, sword or shield. I was talking with some friends about it recently and how much they could do with it using modern CGI and green screen tecniques. If you live in the UK and have cable of satellite you can catch repeats (reruns) of it on Challenge TV.

There should be a rule that applies to all tv series where the first episode that should be filmed is the "rotational funeral scene".

It takes place at a funeral home. The camera rolls as each actor or actress would spend an hour inside the casket while every one else gathers around and cries their eyes out.

That way, all stories, all plotlines, all subplots; they are all prepped to be resolved in the event of early cancellation.

I would bring back Starsky & Hutch. But my concept would be that the original Starsky & Hutch are age appropriate to modern times, maining the oroginal actors would be able to return to the roles that made them famous. Starsky would be retired and Hutch would be Captain of the precinct he worked for as a detective. To fill the gap would be a new Starsky & Hutch duo in the form of Hutch's level headed son and Starsky's estranged, hotheaded daughter.

Angel, Farscape, Firefly, The Tomorrow People (the Nickelodeon one), and The Secret World of Alex Mack (which would be even better, since Larisa Oleynick is pretty hot now...)

I thought she was hot back then. I had a crush on Alex Mack.

I did too, but she's really hot now. Kind of like Michelle Trachtenberg after the last season of Buffy and with Euro Trip. She just suddenly became hot.

I'd bring back:

1. Birds Of Prey-Redo it to with the same continuity as the comic complete with the comic costumes.
2. The Flash- Have more of the comic villains make appearances such as Trickster and Capt. Cold.
3. Angel without a doubt

Great anime series. If you have Comcast digital Cable, you can watch it On-Demand. Or just buy the dvds.

I don't know if I can handle watching two more episodes. I couldn't help but doze off while watching the first 6. And trust me, I have a high tolerance for anime.
