I think it'd be great for kids between the ages of four and ten. And you'd have an actual teenage Superman (ages 14 - 16?) instead of a flying dog.

Additionally, if people lost their minds about "comic continuity" and all that nonsense, you could have Connor Kent, the new comics Superboy from "Teen Titans" instead of Clark Kent. But personally, I think it'd be better to have a Superboy animated cartoon series featuring a costumed Clark. :)

One of the top executives at the WB (and helped push the "Smallville" series idea at the network) actually wanted to do a live action Superboy series for Saturday morning in the late seventies (similar to the live action "Shazam" series that ran in the mid to late seventies on CBS, I believe). But at that point, the rights belonged to either the Salkinds or Warner Brothers, and the executive was over at ABC. So the idea died.

But I think an animated cartoon of Superboy would be great fun. I'd like for Superboy to actually be able to make a fist (fat chance in this right wing day and age), but you could have him fighting natural disasters, creatures from beyond the stars and other dimensions, you name it.

That is funny. When I was in high school I actually wrote a "pilot" script for a Superboy show....my idea was to do a cross between Saved by the Bell and Superman.....basically have a live action Superman show, but it would be aimed at 7-12 year olds or so. Admittedly my script stunk, but it is funny that I had the same basic idea :)

Great minds think alike. ;) :D

But there's no reason not to do an animated Superboy show, IMO. It might generate interest in the character among young fans, and it's another way of telling the early saga of Superman. In any case, that's what struck me when I saw those goofy pictures of Krypto (it also brought back memories of the old Filmation cartoons that used to run on USA cable which featured Superboy and Krypto along with Superman).

Honestly I don't care. I am a Hawks fan personally (I know we suck) but if I had to choose I would rather see the Pistons win. I just kind of assumed that the Pistons would see the Lakers and roll over......especially after losing a heartbreaker in game two. But they proved me wrong. The came out on their home floor and just beat the Lakers like they were a drum. This might be an interesting series....although why the NBA insists on waiting until Sunday to play game 4 is beyond me.

I don't know why NBA would wait until Sunday except it is probably a money thing.

Don't worry about it....your replies aren't stupid at all. Yeah I am certain that the reason to wait until Sunday to play is a money thing. Seems like every decision made in pro sports is a money thing these days.....basically the NBA is trying to make the finals last as long as possible, which keeps the NBA in the news for as long as possible (or at least it is something like that) It is after midnight here and I am not thinking straight anymore.

i saw a sneak preview of THE TERMINAL yesterday.....surprisingly it wasnt all that great, i expected more from spielberg. dont get me wrong, theres some REALLY funny stuff, but overall, the story wasnt that strong, and the characters and character development was handled poorly.

Yeah alone is good sometimes but if it gets edge of the seat exciting then who will I grab. or if it is boring and I decide to go tosleep ( which is the test of a movie, If Idon't asleep then it is good) then who will I lay all over. If there is romance who will I snuggle. See there are many things to be considered here.
