Yeah, they're pretty awesome. Even their older stuff is still so relevant. Some of my favorites are:

I Still Haven't Found what I'm looking For.
With or Without you
When love comes to town (with BB)
Angel of Harlem

ck51100

Yorkshire Pudding
¼ cup of bacon dripping
½ cup milk
1 egg, well-beaten
½ cup sifted all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt

Temp: 450º F Time: 10 - 15 min. I use a glass pie plate so if you also do, turn the heat down to 425°F.

Tip
One tasty and cooking trick - save in a mug in the fridge drained off bacon drippings to use in this recipe - also for that super taste in English Roast Potatoes!

Now combine well-beaten egg and milk; beat till light. Gradually beat in sifted flour and salt; beat with dover beater till smooth. Let stand 30 minutes. (I personally don't bother with this letting stand 30 minutes step.)

Put about 2 tablespoons bacon dripping into pan or divided up between 6 large muffin tins or into an 8"x8" pan. Heat in oven, make sure you watch pan as it will start to smoke! Pour batter into hot pan; bake in hot over till done. Serves 4.

The trick is the hot fat and the hot oven. Don't keep opening the oven to check. Serve immediately as it will deflate as it gets cold. Pour nice beef gravy over top. Or you can use "Yorkies" with chicken.

In England, as a kid due to food shortage, we were given the choice of having our slice of 'Yorkie' on our dinner plate or served as our 'sweet' with jam on it. Of course we always choose our Yorkie as a 'sweet' else we didn't get any dessert!

England is a strange little place... Towns thatmay only be a few miles aprt can have completely different dialects (not sure if this is the same for other countries)
The site I linked too shows an extreme version of my dialect, there are a a number of words pointed out that I do use however a lot of the words and phrases are taken from the way black country folk spoke years ago.
The strange thing about the black country dialect (for me anyway) is that it's diluted down now, but in an argument or when i'm having a fun (as in pissed out of my skull :D ) my dialect turns back to it's broadest form and I speak like the turnip that wrote the artical :D

Grey me old mate!
Here's what I posted...
Bruce Lee wasn't invincible....On the silver screen he was superhuman, but in the real world he was just a man.
In fact the only championship Lee won was a dance contest to become the Hong Kong Cha Cha Champion (yes thats right).
Tyson, in his prime was a fast lethal and at times fluid fighter, true, he won belts for his boxing but Tyson had been raised amid a hard street fighting scene..
So the question is, who is the better fighter..
The ultra fast high kicking movie star or the multi title holding proffesional boxer.

Take note folks that during an interview Bruce Lee himself said that kung fu wouldn't come into play in a real fight and that he's opt to kick his opponant in the balls in order to win.
Still.. A difficult question, but giving it some thought...
I'm voting for Tyson.

A better question would be..
In a real fight who would win out of the martial art stars of the movies..

Bruce Lee
Steven Seagal
Chuck Norris
Jean Claude Van Damme
Jackie Chan
Dolph Lundgren(?)
mr miagi from the karate kid.

Chan - he's got more training than the rest of them put together. When i did Lau Gar Kung Fu i went to a summer camp - Master Lau(one of the few masters outside china) basically said the same thing.

I wonder if Ducan would need a wig for his mohawk? He would be a good choice, he might make a better Mr. T than the original Mr. T.

I still like to watch Mr. T on Conan Obrian, he is really funny on there.

That question will go down with "how many licks does it take to get to the tootsie roll center of tootsie pop" as one of life's great mysteries.

I mean granted that owl tried to tell you three, but really can you trust an owl? Not to mention that you know he bit into the pop. That totally throws off the test. So three is not a valid answer. I mean this really just goes to show you that you can't trust an owl. You know who else you can't trust? A mongoose. Shifty little things....beady little eyes. But I think I am getting off the subject. What was I talking about? I can't remember but I am hungry.

Exactly right. Maybe that can explain why Christopher Robin is the way he is....I mean you see an owl eat your best friend and see if you don't come out a little different. And how about those carrots that Rabbit is growing? How does he get them so big? My theory.....soylent green
